Abstract

The aim of writing this research is to find out the results of a SWOT analysis of employee performance improvement strategies carried out by human resource management at the Yamaru Wing Kasih Foundation. and strategies to improve employee performance carried out by human resource management at the Manuel Runtu Tomohon Foundation. The data method used in this research is SWOT. SWOT shows that the position of the Manuel Runtu Foundation is in quadrant 1 (+,+). This means that the Foundation has opportunities and strengths that can be utilized for foundation development programs. Position in quadrant I, theoretically, means that the strategy that must be implemented by the Foundation is a strategy that supports aggressive growth policies (growth oriented strategy) or an aggressive strategy. The review of internal conditions including organization, governance, resources and performance of Yamaru Wing Kasish directs all foundation organs towards one virtue, namely professional management of the foundation. To be able to take advantage of opportunities and face challenges that occur in the external environment, professionalism is seen as an urgency. The initial step is to organize a planning system based on strategic planning.

Abstract

Decreased percentage of the number of members of the Serviam Kupang Credit Cooperative in 2020 - 2021. Decreased percentage of SHU acquisition of the Serviam Kupang Credit Cooperative in 2020 - 2021. The multiple linear regression technique was used to determine whether or not there was an influence of the variables number of members and amount of savings on the SHU variable at the Serviam Kupang Credit Cooperative. After testing it using the t-test, it is known that the number of members (X1) has no effect on the acquisition of SHU (Y), while the number of savings (X2) has an effect on SHU (Y). after being tested using the f-test simultaneously, the number of members (X1) and the amount of deposits (X2) have a significant effect on the acquisition of SHU (Y). The magnitude of the influence of the number of members (X1) and the amount of savings (X2) on the acquisition of SHU at the Serviam Credit Cooperative shows a coefficient of determination (r2) of 0.957%. This figure means that the number of members and the amount of savings influence the SHU by 0.957%, while the remainder (100%-0.957% 99.043%) is influenced by other variables not examined in this research, such as the amount of loans and income. It is hoped that the management and management of the Serviam Kupang Credit Cooperative can increase the amount of savings so that the Cooperative's SHU can increase.

Abstract

The thresher shark (Alopias pelagicus) is an apex predator that plays an important role in marine ecosystems, but its population continues to decline due to overexploitation and habitat degradation. This study analyzes the thresher shark conservation policy in the Alor Marine Conservation Area, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), and the role of local communities in supporting the conservation of this species. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, then analyzed using qualitative methods. The results show that the conservation policy in the Alor MPA faces challenges in implementation, such as low community participation and limited monitoring resources. This study recommends a community-based approach to improve the effectiveness of thresher shark conservation in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The population of the pelagic thresher shark (Alopias pelagicus) in Indonesian waters continues to decline due to intense fishing pressure and weak implementation of conservation policies. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Indonesia’s thresher shark conservation policies and to assess the role of local communities in supporting conservation efforts. A qualitative descriptive approach was applied through literature review, policy document analysis, and interviews with relevant stakeholders, including fishers, local authorities, and conservation organizations. Data were analyzed using content analysis to identify gaps between policy formulation and field implementation. The findings show that although national regulations protect A. pelagicus, their enforcement remains limited due to inadequate monitoring, lack of public awareness, and insufficient livelihood alternatives for fishers. Local communities possess significant potential to contribute to conservation through community-based monitoring and marine ecotourism initiatives. The study concludes that successful conservation of the thresher shark requires stronger synergy between national policies and local initiatives. Key recommendations include strengthening community capacity, enhancing law enforcement, and developing sustainable economic incentives that support conservation.
