Abstract

The expected research and development objectives in “this study are to reduce the anxiety of speaking in front of the class of class XI learners at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Metro” and testing the effectiveness of classical guidance services with the circle technique (round) that researchers develop. The type of research is experimentation, which is research using quantitative data. Quantitative data obtained based on the results of the student response assessment score and anxiety questionnaires speaking in front of the class that researchers give to learners.This development research was conducted using classical guidance research method with circle technique (round) using game media so that students When carrying out services do not feel bored. The results of the research conducted are : 1) The effectiveness of classical guidance services with the circle (round) technique to reduce anxiety of speaking in front of a class of learners class XI at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Metro who managend to get results with the category of “high and medium” which can be seen as follows : a) the average pretest score results get a score 0f 77,08 with the “high” category, b) the average postest score gets a score of 63,08 with the “low” category, c) The results of the hypothesis also show that the results of the thitung large than of sigtificans 0,10 thus H0 rejected and accepted. This means that in this study there is a significant influence between variables independent of dependent variables so that there is an influence on reducing anxiety of speaking in front of the class on students at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Metro well.

Abstract

The research and development objective expected in this research is to "Find out the effect of group guidance on problem solving techniques to improve students' time management at SMK Negeri 3 Metro". The type of research used is quantitative research, quantitative data is obtained based on the results of assessment scores from filling out student time management questionnaires that researchers give to students. The results of the research carried out are: 1) The Effect of Problem Solving Technique Group Guidance Services to Improve the Time Management of Class XI TJKT Students at SMK Negeri 3 Metro for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. 2) Improving the time management of Class b) the post test score is 18.7. It can be seen from these results that there is an increase by a difference of 6.1. c) and the results of hypothesis testing also show that the t_count results are greater than the t_table with a significance of 0.05, thus H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted. This means that in this research there is an influence of group guidance services using problem solving techniques on improving time management in class XI TJKT students at SMK Negeri 3 Metro.

Abstract

This study stems from the issue of adolescents living in the era of social media, where various information flows in without strict filtering. The research aims to examine the effect of group guidance services on the self-concept of Generation Z students at State of high school 5 in Metro city. The research problem is formulated as follows: Does the implementation of group guidance services affect the self-concept of Generation Z students. The study employed an experimental research method with a one-group pretest–posttest design. The research sample consisted of 10 students categorized as Generation Z at State of high school 5 in Metro city. Data were collected using a self-concept scale comprising 30 items. The data were analyzed using a different test technique. The results showed a significant difference in the self-concept of Generation Z students before and after receiving group guidance services. Based on these findings, it is concluded that the implementation of group guidance has an effect on the self-concept of Generation Z students at State of high school 5 in Metro city
