Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' ability to write anecdotal texts using the Problem Based Learning model in class X IPA 1 MA Manongkoki Kab. Takalar. This type of research is class action research (Class Action Research) and consists of two cycles, with two cycles carried out in two sessions. Research methods include planning, implementation, action, observation and reflection. The research was conducted at MA Manongkoki, Kab. Takalar. The target of this study were 23 students of class X IPA 1 MA Manongkoki District. Studies show that the average increases from 67.47% in the first period to 84.43% in the second period. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model increases in learning to write anecdotal texts.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is whether there is an influence of the reading aloud method on the mastery of Indonesian vocabulary in class IV students at SDN 164 Inpres Lappawarue, Mallawa District, Maros Regency. This research aims to describe the effect of applying the reading aloud method on the mastery of Indonesian vocabulary in class IV students at SDN 164 Inpres Lappawarue, Mallawa District, Maros Regency.This type of research is Pre-Experimental. The research design is a pretest-posttest design, namely an experiment which in its implementation only involves one class as an experimental class without a comparison class (control class). The subjects used in this research were 11 students.The results of descriptive statistical analysis of the use of the Reading Aloud Method on Mastery of Indonesian Vocabulary are positive, mastery of Indonesian vocabulary using the Reading Aloud method shows better vocabulary mastery than before the Reading Aloud method was applied. The results of inferential statistical analysis using the t test formula show that the calculated t value obtained is 6.097 with a frequency of db = 30–1 = 29, at a significance level of ???? = 0.05, t table = 2.228. So, t count > t table or the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. This proves that there is an influence in implementing the Reading Aloud method on the Mastery of Indonesian Vocabulary in Class IV Students at SDN 164 Inpres Lappawarue, Mallawa District, Maros Regency

Abstract

The main problem in the research is identifying the factors that hinder the initial reading learning process for class I UPT SPF SD Inpres Jongaya students, Tamalate District. The research aims to analyze the factors inhibiting beginning reading in class I UPT SPF SD Inpres Jongaya, Tamalate District. The type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. Researchers collect data through observation, interviews and documentation. The subjects in the research were 5 students in class I UPT SPF SD Inpres Jongaya, Tamalate District, who were classified as having low initial reading ability. The results of the research show that there are two factors that hinder the initial reading learning process at UPT SPF SD Inpres Jongaya, Tamalate District, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors include children's lack of memory, children's slow understanding of learning, students' lack of attention to learning in class, excessive pressure on children, and children's lack of motivation and interest. External factors include lack of parental attention, lack of learning media available at home, lack of teacher skills, students never attending PAUD, lack of focus on reading activities at students' previous school (TK), limited time and attention of the community as well as the use of gadgets and playing excessive online games. Thus, it can be concluded that these factors hinder the initial reading learning process for class I students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Jongaya, Tamalate District.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the significant effect of implementing the VCT learning model on the speaking skills of class IV students at SD Inpres Talakauwe, West Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. The type of research used in this research is pre-experimental and is a quantitative type of research. The sample in this study was 25 students. Data collection techniques were carried out using learning results tests and observation sheets. Data analysis of research results was obtained from descriptive statistical data analysis and inferential data analysis. The research results showed that speaking skills before implementing the VCT (Value Clarification Technique) learning model in the pretest had an average score of 64. Meanwhile, in the posttest it had improved with an average score of 83.2. The results of the t-test analysis regarding the influence of the VCT (Value Clarification Technique) learning model on the learning outcomes of student participants show that the significance value obtained is good, namely the influence of the VCT (Value Clarification Technique) learning model on speaking skills (Sig = 0.001) is smaller than the value The alpha set is 0.05 (0.001 < 0.05). Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, which states that there is an influence of the use of the VCT (Value Clarification Technique) learning model on the speaking skills of class IV students at SD Inpres Talakauwe, West Bajeng District, Gowa Regency.
