Abstract

The development of technology and information is currently very rapid, almost all aspects of human needs have been affected and are instantaneous which are closely related to technology. The negative impact is that some students misuse social media as a tool to commit crimes, for example spreading hoax news, watching content that should not be watched, when given an assignment they prefer to do it using Google rather than having to search for literature that has been provided by the Government in the form of books available in the library. Meanwhile, the positive impact is that it makes it easier for students to manage accurate information. This type of research is a literature review, namely a survey of scientific articles, journals/proceedings, and other literature appropriate to a particular field of research or theory with the aim of obtaining a description and summary. Based on the literature review carried out, 9 articles were reviewed, there were 4 articles which stated that they agreed that the influence of using social media could have a bad impact on student behavior, and there were 5 articles which stated that the use of social media did not have a bad impact on student behavior.

Abstract

Hospitals are very complex, dynamic, capital-intensive, and labor-intensive institutions that are multi-disciplinary and are influenced by an ever-changing environment (Permenkes No. 340 of 2010). Medical Record is a file containing notes and documents about patient identity, examination, treatment, actions and other services that have been provided to patients (Permenkes No. 269/MENKES/PER/III/2008). The daily inpatient census is a collection of patient data entering and leaving the ward. The daily inpatient census contains information on all incoming, transferred, transferred, and discharged patients both alive and dead for 24 hours. Therefore, the researcher wanted to review the implementation of the daily inpatient census at Elisabeth Hospital Medan related to the implementation of the census in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SPO), the daily census flow, the timeliness of the implementation, the comparison of manual census data and the obstacles in carrying out the daily inpatient census. The method used in this research is interview and active participation observation. Based on the above results regarding the manual census and SHAPIRA in St. Ignatius Elisabeth Hospital Medan, Shapira's census, the number of patients always exceeds the bed capacity, even three times the available bed capacity.

Ethics is a branch of axiology, namely the science of values, which focuses on the search for right and wrong or in another sense, moral and immoral. Smartphones are one of the results of technological developments that have advanced capabilities where students are one group of smartphone users. This research aims to increase students' knowledge about the ethics of using smartphones in communication. This research uses a survey method, namely by giving a survey questionnaire regarding understanding of ethics in communication and its prevention to students. The results of counseling and education for 19 students of the Health Information Management Study Program showed that the average knowledge of the community at the pretest was 92.6% and at the posttest it was 98.9%, which shows an increase in the average knowledge of students.
