Abstract

In the teaching and learning process, media becomes a tool to help students better understand what is being explained by the teacher, including the PAK learning process at school, teachers should use learning media. By using media, students can experience the learning process directly, actively, creatively, interestingly and funly. At SMA Negeri 5 Ambon, especially in the PAK learning process, there are teachers who use media, there are those who rarely use media and there are those who don't use learning media at all. This research aims to find out how media is used in learning Christian Religious Education in the digital era at SMA Negeri 5 Ambon. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with 14 respondents consisting of teachers and students. The resulting conclusion is that the use of learning media in the digital era must be carried out, training and assistance in using technology for teachers is very necessary because it has a serious impact on increasing student achievement. ABSTRAKDalam proses belajar mengajar maka media menjadi alat bantú guna menolong siswa lebih memahami apa yang dijelaskan oleh guru, termasuk di dalamnya proses pembelajaran PAK di sekolah, guru seyogyanya menggunakan media pembelajaran. Dengan menggunakan media, siswa dapat mengalami proses belajar secara langsung, aktif, kreatif, menarik, dan menyenangkan. Di SMA Negeri 5 Ambon khususnya dalam proses pembelajaran PAK ada guru yang menggunakan media, ada yang jarang menggunakan media dan ada yang tidak sama sekali menggunakan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di era digital di SMA Negeri 5 Ambon. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan 14 responden yang terdiri dari guru dan siswa. Adapun kesimpulan yang dihasilkan adalah penggunaan media pembelajaran di era digital harus dilakukan, pelatihan dan pendampingan penggunaan teknologi untuk guru sangat diperlukan karena membawa dampak yang serius bagi peningkatan prestasi siswa.

Abstract

This research intends to analyze the model of education beyond the wall in Christian religious education and the challenges of pluralism that exist in schools. The implementation of Christian religious education in schools is not easy. There are problems of religious pluralism faced by teachers and students in schools. For this reason, a special approach is needed to overcome these problems so that Christian religious education can achieve its goal of accepting pluralism as a gift from God. A qualitative method with a literature study approach was used in this research. The results show that the education model beyond the wall is an ideal model that should be developed into a contextualized pattern of religious teaching in schools. This model not only provides space for static dialogical relationships, but more than that, it invites students with various religious and ethnic backgrounds to work together to build peace and voice justice for the creation of a safe, peaceful and harmonious society.

Abstract

Indonesia, as a multicultural nation, has diversity that includes religious, ethnic, cultural, racial, and gender diversity, as well as socio-political dynamics. This plurality is a social asset, but it also has the potential to cause conflict if it is not managed through an inclusive and tolerant attitude. This article aims to analyze the transformation of the attitudes of a diverse society through Christian Religious Education in the context of Indonesian education. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method through a critical analysis of literature on multicultural education, recognition politics, inclusive religious education, and national education regulations. The results of the study show that Christian Religious Education plays a strategic role in shaping the character of students so that they are able to live peacefully side by side in a pluralistic society. However, diversity education still tends to be limited to religious and ethnic aspects, while other dimensions such as cultural recognition, gender equality, democracy, and social justice have not been comprehensively integrated. Therefore, Christian Religious Education needs to be developed through a broader and more dialogical multicultural approach.
