Abstract

In the teaching and learning process, media becomes a tool to help students better understand what is being explained by the teacher, including the PAK learning process at school, teachers should use learning media. By using media, students can experience the learning process directly, actively, creatively, interestingly and funly. At SMA Negeri 5 Ambon, especially in the PAK learning process, there are teachers who use media, there are those who rarely use media and there are those who don't use learning media at all. This research aims to find out how media is used in learning Christian Religious Education in the digital era at SMA Negeri 5 Ambon. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with 14 respondents consisting of teachers and students. The resulting conclusion is that the use of learning media in the digital era must be carried out, training and assistance in using technology for teachers is very necessary because it has a serious impact on increasing student achievement. ABSTRAKDalam proses belajar mengajar maka media menjadi alat bantĂș guna menolong siswa lebih memahami apa yang dijelaskan oleh guru, termasuk di dalamnya proses pembelajaran PAK di sekolah, guru seyogyanya menggunakan media pembelajaran. Dengan menggunakan media, siswa dapat mengalami proses belajar secara langsung, aktif, kreatif, menarik, dan menyenangkan. Di SMA Negeri 5 Ambon khususnya dalam proses pembelajaran PAK ada guru yang menggunakan media, ada yang jarang menggunakan media dan ada yang tidak sama sekali menggunakan media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penggunaan media dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen di era digital di SMA Negeri 5 Ambon. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan 14 responden yang terdiri dari guru dan siswa. Adapun kesimpulan yang dihasilkan adalah penggunaan media pembelajaran di era digital harus dilakukan, pelatihan dan pendampingan penggunaan teknologi untuk guru sangat diperlukan karena membawa dampak yang serius bagi peningkatan prestasi siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to understand how the practice of Children's Holy Communion at Gereja Kristen Jawa Dagen-Palur and GKJ Danukusuman is implemented as part of Christian education for children. The subjects of this study include parents of children who have participated in the Children's Holy Communion and church pastors. A qualitative approach with a case study method was employed to gain an in-depth understanding through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The findings indicate that while the Children's Holy Communion can serve as a significant moment in the growth of a child's faith, the follow-up discipleship efforts remain suboptimal. The churches face challenges in designing structured follow-up programs, and parental involvement in accompanying their children's faith journey is still limited. As a result, the continuity of Christian faith education for children is not well maintained. Therefore, this study recommends that churches develop post-communion discipleship programs that actively involve families.
