Abstract

This research was carried out with the main aim of analyzing the influence that transformational leadership has on two important aspects in an organization: organizational commitment and employee job satisfaction. Transformational leadership, known for its capacity to inspire and motivate employees, is considered a key factor that can increase both organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Using a qualitative approach, this research in-depth examines how this leadership style influences employees' perceptions and attitudes towards the entity where they work. The research results confirm that transformational leadership plays a vital role in forming a stronger commitment from employees to their organization and increasing their level of satisfaction with their work. This higher organizational commitment and greater job satisfaction was further identified as having a significant contribution to improving overall organizational performance. Based on these findings, it is recommended that organizations strive to develop and maintain transformational leadership practices as a strategy to improve their internal quality, which includes increasing employee commitment and job satisfaction. The implementation of this leadership style is expected to encourage the creation of a more positive and productive work environment, which will ultimately benefit both employees and the organization as a whole.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of leadership in increasing employee engagement in startups. The main focus of this study is to understand how different leadership styles affect employee motivation, commitment, and engagement in a dynamic and rapidly changing startup environment. The research method used is a quantitative approach using questionnaires distributed to employees from several different startups. The data collected were then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques to identify the relationship between leadership styles and employee engagement levels. The results showed that transformational leadership has a significant impact on employee engagement, with elements such as inspiration and personal support playing an important role in increasing employee motivation and commitment. In contrast, transactional leadership styles showed a smaller influence on employee engagement in the startup context. The conclusion of this study is that transformational leadership can be the key to increasing employee engagement in startups. Startup companies are advised to adopt a more inspirational and supportive leadership style to create a more productive and committed work environment. This study provides valuable insights for startup leaders and human resource practitioners in designing effective leadership strategies to increase employee engagement.

Abstract

Penelitian kualitatif ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran strategis Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dalam mendukung dan mengimplementasikan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) dalam organisasi. Dengan mengadopsi pendekatan studi kasus, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara mendalam dengan praktisi SDM, manajer CSR, dan karyawan di berbagai perusahaan yang dikenal aktif dalam inisiatif CSR. Analisis tematik dari data wawancara mengungkapkan bahwa SDM memiliki peranan penting dalam merancang, mengkomunikasikan, dan mengintegrasikan kebijakan CSR ke dalam budaya perusahaan, serta memobilisasi karyawan untuk berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan CSR. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi efektif antara praktik SDM dan program CSR berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja organisasi, meningkatkan keterlibatan karyawan, dan memperkuat reputasi perusahaan. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengidentifikasi berbagai tantangan dan rekomendasi strategis untuk meningkatkan sinergi antara SDM dan CSR. Hasil studi ini menekankan bahwa SDM tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pendukung administratif tetapi juga sebagai mitra strategis dalam perencanaan dan eksekusi CSR, yang akhirnya mempengaruhi keberhasilan keseluruhan perusahaan dalam mencapai tujuan sosial dan lingkungannya

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of motivation and work discipline on employee performance at Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) Ciplaz Parung. The method used is quantitative. The sampling technique used saturated sampling, namely 53 respondents. Data analysis uses validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, correlation coefficients, coefficients of determination and hypothesis testing. The results of this research are that motivation has a significant effect on employee performance with a coefficient of determination value of 48.0% and the hypothesis test obtained t count > t table or (6.857 > 2.008). Work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance with a coefficient of determination value of 43.3% and hypothesis testing obtained t count > t table or (6,240 > 2,008). Motivation and work discipline simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 8.024 + 0.409X1 + 0.392X2. The coefficient of determination value is 58.6% while the remaining 41.4% is influenced by other factors. Hypothesis testing obtained calculated F value > F table or (35,354 > 2,790).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja yang berdampak pada kinerja karyawan pada PT Daya Santosa di Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory research dengan sampel sebanyak 87 responden. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis statistik dengan pengujian regresi, korelasi, determinasi dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini Motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja sebesar 33,5%, uji hipotesis diperoleh signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja sebesar 38,4%, uji hipotesis diperoleh signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05. Motivasi dan lingkungan kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja sebesar 46,8%, uji hipotesis diperoleh signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05.Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan sebesar 35,2%, uji hipotesis diperoleh signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05.Kata Kunci: motivasi; lingkungan kerja; kepuasan kerja; kinerja karyawan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation and work discipline on employee performance at PT Langgeng Baja Pratama in Bekasi Regency. The method used is explanatory research with analysis techniques using statistical analysis with regression testing, correlation, determination and hypothesis testing. The results of this study compensation has a significant effect on employee performance of 50.3%, the hypothesis test obtained t count> t table or (7.788> 2.000). Work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance of 41.0%, the hypothesis test obtained t count> t table or (6.462> 2.000). Compensation and work discipline simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance with the regression equation Y = 9.869 + 0.416X1 + 0.353X2 and a contribution of 61.3%, the hypothesis test obtained F count> F table or (46.655> 2.760).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh disiplin kerja dan insentif terhadap kinerja karyawan pada PT BFI Finance Indonesia Tbk Cabang Ciledug Tangerang. Metode yang digunakan adalah explanatory research dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh dimana semua anggota populasi dijadikan sebagai sampel sehingga sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 60 responden dan teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik dengan pengujian regresi, korelasi, determinasi dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dibuktikan dengan uji hipotesis diperoleh t hitung > t tabel atau (6,567 > 2,002) dengan kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 42,6%. Insentif berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dibuktikan dengan uji hipotesis diperoleh t hitung > t tabel atau (6,046 > 2,002) dengan kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 38,7%. Disiplin kerja dan insentif secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan yang dibuktikan dengan uji hipotesis diperoleh F hitung > F tabel atau (46,258 > 2,770) dan diperoleh persamaan regresi Y = 7,326 + 0,412X1 + 0,437X2 serta memiliki kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 61,9%.
