Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between vocational maturity and anxiety in facing the world of work in students of SMK Negeri 2 Gunung Talang. The independent variable in this study is vocational maturity while the dependent variable is anxiety in facing the world of work. The measuring tool used in this study is the vocational maturity scale and anxiety in facing the world of work. The sampling technique in this study used a proportionate stratified random sampling technique. The sample in this study were 133 students of SMK Negeri 2 Gunung Talang. Test the validity and reliability in this study using Alpha Cronbach technique. The results of the validity coefficient on the vocational maturity scale move from rix = 0.319 to rix = 0.771 with a reliability coefficient value of α = 0.945 while the results of the validity coefficient on the anxiety scale in facing the world of work move from rix = 0.329 to rix = 0.746 with a reliability coefficient value of α = 0.939. Based on data analysis, a correlation value of -0.522 was obtained with a significance level of 0.000, which means that the hypothesis is accepted. This shows that there is a significant relationship between vocational maturity and anxiety in facing the world of work in students of SMK Negeri 2 Gunung Talang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi pengembangan usaha tahu Pak Agus yang berada di daerah Limau Manis Padang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara, selanjutnya data yang diperoleh diolah dengan menggunakan metode reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan (verifikasi). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang digunakan dalam mengembangkan usaha tahu sesuai dengan bauran pemasaran yang meliputi: Strategi produk (product) yaitu meningkatkan kualitas produk. Strategi harga (price) yaitu industri tahu menyesuaikan harga dengan para pesaing dan menetapkan harga sesuai dengan kualitas produknya. Strategi tempat (place) yaitu industri tahu Pak Agus menggunakan lahan pribadi, hal ini bertujuan untuk agar Pak Agus lebih mudah mengawasi proses pengolahan serta terletak dilokasi yang tidak padat penduduknya sehingga memudahkan Pak Agus dalam melakukan kegiatan produksi. Strategi promosi (promotion) yaitu Pak Agus menjual tahu basah secara langsung pada konsumen di pabriknya dan memasarkan tahu goreng yang bernama “tahu goreng Kahyangan”melalui pedagang kaki lima. Untuk pemasaran tahu goreng Pak Agus memiliki banyak outlet yang tersebar di kota Padang sehingga memudahkan untuk menjangkau konsumen.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between peer attachment and academic stress in class XII students majoring in Mathematics and Natural Sciences in SMAN X Padang. The independent variable in this study is peer attachment and the variable used is Academic Stress. Measuring instruments used in this research are peer attachment scale and Academic Stress. The sampling technique in this study used the Random Sampling technique. The sample in this study were 152 students at SMAN X Padang. The validity and reliability test in this study uses the Cronbach Alpha technique. The results of the validity coefficient on the stickiness scale of peers move from rix = 0.310 to rix = 0.809 with a reliability coefficient of α = 0.883 while on the academic stress scale moves from rix = 0.316 to rix = 0.803 with a reliability coefficient of α = 0.864. Based on data analysis, a decent value of -0,591 is obtained with a significance level of 0,000, which means the hypothesis is accepted. This shows that there is a significant relationship between peer attachment and academic stress of students at SMAN X Padang. While the effective contribution of the variable peer attachment to academic stress 35%.
