Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the positive and significant influence of parental guidance on the interest in learning of children aged 5-6 years at the Smart Ceria Tapian Nauli Kindergarten, Sipoholon District, for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. The family here is the center for the development of all activities, both learning activities and other activities that can develop the child's interest in learning. The method used in this research is a descriptive quantitative research method. The population is all children aged 5-6 years at the Smart Ceria Tapian Nauli Kindergarten, Sipoholon District, 2022/2023 Academic Year, totaling 38 people and a sample of 20 people was determined using a non-probability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. Data was collected using a positive closed questionnaire of 30 items. The results of the data analysis show that there is a positive and significant influence of parental guidance on the interest in learning of children aged 5-6 years at the Smart Ceria Tapian Nauli Kindergarten, Sipoholon District, 2022/2023 Academic Year: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) test a positive relationship to obtain a value rxy = 0.673 > rtable(=0.05,n=20) = 0.444, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable .05,dk=n-2=18)= 2.101, thus there is a significant relationship between variable The regression equation Y ̂="17","24"+0.65X is obtained. So Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Storytelling method on improving the speaking ability of children aged 5-6 years at TK Pembina HKBP Tarutung. The background of this research is the low speaking ability of children in HKBP Tarutung Pembina Kindergarten. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method of ipre-experimental idesign type, namely iOne iShot iCase iStudy. The population was all children aged 5-6 years at TK Pembina HKBP Tarutung which amounted to 94 people and a sample of 30 children was determined with nonprobability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. Data were collected with 30 positive closed questionnaire items. The results of data analysis show that there is a positive and significant effect of the Storytelling method on improving the speaking ability of children aged 5-6 years at TK Pembina HKBP Tarutung: 1) Analysis requirements test: a) positive relationship test obtained rxy value = 0.489 > rtable (a=0.05, n=30) = 0.361 thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. b) significant relationship test obtained tcount = 2.968 > ttable (a=0.05, dk=n-2=28) = 2.048 thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. c) regression determination coefficient test (r2) = 23.9%. 2) Effect test: Regression equation test, obtained regression equation Y ̂="23", "08"+0.48X. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The effectivity and efficiency of student learning and learning in schools is highly dependent on the role of the teacher. One of his ideal teachers acts as a conservator, transmitter, transformer, and also an organizer. In some elementary schools in Tarutung, the values of Christian education have not colored the entire dynamics of life and the teaching and learning process. This happens because so far there has not been a program created by the school to provide guidance and supervision specifically on the growth of spirituality to both students and teachers as Christian educators in the school. This study aims to prove the influence of direct learning strategies and cooperative learning strategies on the interest in learning Christian Religious Education in elementary schools in the Tarutung area. This research is a quantitative research with the Experiment One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design approach. From the results of the study, it was obtained that the significance value of the Paired Sample T-Test direct learning strategy and cooperative learning strategy limited tothe interest in learning Christian Religious Education kurang from 0.05 (p < 0.05), showed a significant influence between the learning strategy and the interest in learning. Other factors that also influence the growth of student interest in learning include internal factors such as physical condition, psychological, and fatigue, as well as external factors such as the way the teacher teaches, the material/subject matter delivered, the purpose of teaching, the media used by the teacher in teaching and the surrounding environment.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to assess the effectiveness of the elderly health program run by the Partali Toruan Hutabarat Village, with special emphasis on participatory sessions specifically for the elderly and periodic blood pressure. The analytical method used is an intervention study with data collection both before and after the intervention. The results show a significant increase in understanding of the importance of regularly cleaning and using natural materials for the health of local communities. Apart from that, there was also a negative impact seen on the average blood pressure levels in the group of program participants. All of this highlights the important role of community initiatives in improving the health of the elderly through integrated and sustainable efforts, such as health education and promotion of active lifestyles.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine the effect of ball throwing and catching activities on the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Anugerah GKPI Pearaja Tarutung. The method used in this research is a quantitative research method with a pre-experimental type of research in the form of "One Shot Case Study". The population is all group B students (aged 5-6 years) at PAUD Anugerah GKPI Pearaja Tarutung for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 40 people and this research is population research. Data was collected using an observation instrument of 15 items. The results of data analysis show that there is an influence of throwing and catching balls on the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Anugerah GKPI Pearaja Tarutung: 1) Test the analysis requirements: a) positive relationship test obtained by the value rxy = 0.556 > rtable(a=0.05,n=40) = 0.312, thus it is known that there is a positive relationship between variable X and variable Y. b) Testing a significant relationship obtained a value of tcount= 4.126 > ttable(a=0.05,dk=n-2=38)= 2.021, thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. c) Test the regression coefficient of determination (r2) = 30.9%.2) Influence test: Regression equation test, obtained the regression equation Y ̂="14.87"+0.54X. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a relationship between Parental Cooperation and Christian Religious Education Teachers in Increasing Interest in Learning PAK of Grade XI Students of HKBP Doloksanggul Private High School, Humbang Hasundutan Regency in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The research hypothesis is that there is a positive and significant relationship between Parental Cooperation and Christian Religious Education Teachers in Increasing Interest in Learning PAK of Grade XI Students of HKBP Doloksanggul Private High School, Humbang Hasundutan Regency in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. This study uses a quantitative descriptive inferential approach, with a population of 159 people and a sample of 32 people, which is 20% of the population. Data were collected with a closed questionnaire of 28 items. The results of the analysis show that there is a positive and significant relationship between Parental Cooperation and Christian Religious Education Teachers in Increasing Interest in Learning PAK of Grade XI Students of HKBP Doloksanggul Private High School, Humbang Hasundutan Regency in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. This is proven by r count > r table of 0.804 > 0.349 and t count > t table of 7.387 > 2.042, thus there is a significant relationship between variable X and variable Y. So Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.

Abstract

Dunia anak merupakan dunia bermain, anak belajar melalui permainan atau bermain. Pembelajaran diarahkan pada pengembangan dan penyempurnaan potensi kemampuan yang dimiliki seperti kemampuan yang dimiliki seperti kemampuan bahasa, sosial, emosional, motorik, spiritual, dan intelektual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas permainan tradisional Batak bagi perkembangan anak sia dini. Peneliti menggunakan rumusan masalah diskriptif dan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan Experiment One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design dimana terdapat pre-test sebelum diberi perlakuan, sedangkan hasil dari diberikannya perlakuan (post-test) kemudian diperbandingkan dengan sebelum perlakuan. Berdasarkan hasil uji normalitas, angka alpha cronbach berada diatas 0,05 yang berarti data terdistribusi normal. Berdasarkan output SPSS tabel hasil uji Korelasi pada Pretest dan Posttest didapat nilai Korelasi sebesar 0,813 dengan signifikansi < 0,05. Hal ini berarti ada hubungan erat antara pengunaan permainan tradisional Batak, sebelum dan sesudah treatment diberikan. Permainan Batak terbukti efektif bagi tumbuh kembang anak usia dini. Permainan ini direkomendasikan untuk menangkal pengaruh buruk dari game online.

Abstract

Based on the results of the initial observations that the author made at the Mandiri ABCD Kindergarten in Sipoholon District, it shows that the Kindergarten still does not use various interesting media to facilitate learning in the classroom. This research is motivated by problems that arise in class, namely children are less able to recognize number symbols properly because the child's cognitive abilities have not yet emerged, so that the facilities at school to recognize numbers are minimal, as well as the recognition of number symbols is less attractive. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using snakes and ladders media on the ability to recognize number symbols for children aged 5-6 years at Mandiri ABCD Kindergarten, Sipoholon District. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative research method. The population is all children aged 5-6 years in Mandiri ABCD Kindergarten, Sipoholon District, totaling 108 people and a sample of 20 people is determined using a non-probability sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. Data was collected using a closed questionnaire consisting of 23 items. The results of the data analysis showed that there was a positive and significant influence on the use of snakes and ladders media on the ability to recognize number symbols for children aged 5-6 years at Mandiri ABCD Kindergarten, Sipoholon District. Thus Ha is accepted and H0 is reject.
