Abstract

Innovation Playbook in Enhancing Knowledge of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior among Students at SDN Sumbersih 01, Blitar Regency  Abstract The level of public health is a crucial aspect in achieving national development goals in the health sector. One of the efforts made by the government to improve public health is through the PHBS program (Kurnianingsih et al., 2023). Basic Health Research data shows that the proportion of households implementing PHBS in Indonesia has increased over the past ten years. Despite this increase, the figure is still significantly below the target set by the Ministry of Health, which is 71% (Ministry of Health RI, 2021). Among the 22 sub-districts in Blitar Regency, Panggungrejo Sub-district has the lowest percentage of households with access to adequate sanitation, with only 56.49% of households having access to proper sanitation facilities. Furthermore, out of 18,997 families in Panggungrejo Sub-district, 7,624 families have not yet practiced proper handwashing with soap (CTPS). The low implementation of PHBS in Panggungrejo Sub-district also extends to the schools within the area. To date, health education has not been widely provided, and the availability of sanitation facilities is still inadequate in terms of quantity, as experienced by SDN Sumbersih 01. Therefore, it is necessary to provide PHBS education in schools through PHBS education activities for students using an interactive PHBS playbook. The activities were carried out through planning, preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. Based on the Wilcoxon test results from pretest and posttest data, a significance value of 0.03 was obtained, with 17 positive ranks out of 31 data points and 9 negative ranks out of 31 data points. The obtained significance value of <0.05 indicates a difference between the variables, leading to the conclusion that the use of the PHBS playbook has a significant impact on increasing students' knowledge at SDN Sumbersih 01.
