Abstract

This study aims to examine the concept of character education according to Imam Al-Ghazali, as well as its relevance in the context of education in Indonesia today. The research method used is a literature study by collecting and analysing written sources, such as books, journals, and scientific papers on Al-Ghazali's thoughts on character education. The results show that Al-Ghazali defines character education as the formation of morals through good habits instilled from an early age. He emphasised the importance of character education that is oriented towards getting closer to Allah SWT and achieving happiness in this world and the hereafter. The methods recommended by Al-Ghazali include giving examples, training, and habituation, as well as advice that has high psychological weight. The implementation of character education is expected to produce individuals with good character and spiritual toughness. In conclusion, character education initiated by Al-Ghazali can be a solution in shaping a whole person, faithful, and morally good.

Abstract

Research has been carried out on the Strategy of Akhlak Teachers in Instilling Character in Students at MTs Yaspend Muslim Pematang Tengah. This research is a qualitative research using a descriptive qualitative approach. This research only tries to reveal or describe the facts that exist in MTs Yaspend Muslim Pematang Tengah. The researcher acts as a key instrument. The data sources used are secondary and primary data sources. The approaches used are: a) pedagogic approach, b) psychological approach, and c) social approach. The results obtained include: Objective conditions regarding the character of students at MTs Yaspend Muslim Pematang Tengah in general, students have good character. The visible characters shown by students in the MTs Yaspend Muslim Pematang Tengah environment can be concluded as; Students tend to be obedient, polite to all teachers and to fellow students, disciplined, calm and earnest and always maintain harmony and intimacy with others. b) There are several supporting and inhibiting factors for teachers of moral aqidah in instilling character in students at MTs Yaspend Muslim Pematang Tengah, and c) Teachers providing guidance through lectures (at school and at home), it is recommended/required to read a lot of things related to religion ( relating to the formation of character for students with problems continue to be given direction so as not to repeat the mistakes they have made, students with problems are handed over to the BK teacher (BP teacher) for guidance.

Abstract

Motivation is one of the most important elements in the success of a learning process. However, in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, the motivation of students has decreased due to several factors. Therefore, the researcher is interested in examining the factors causing the lack of learning motivation of Grade VIII students in the Fiqh subject in the industrial era 4.0. The research method is using a type of field research in the form of a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection technique is by observation and interview techniques. The results obtained from this study are that there are three main factors causing the lack of motivation of students, including: 1) the absence of learning media, 2) the lack of facilities and infrastructure to support the learning process, 3) the use of monotonous learning methods.

Abstract

Muhammad bin Abdullah is one of the noblest prophets of Allah. He is a figure who is loved by Muslims throughout the world. His life story is not easy, an orphan who was given the mandate to improve the morals of every human being on earth. We can emulate his persistence in spreading Islamic teachings with his noble friends as Muslims who miss and love him. It is not easy to spread the religion of Islam, there were many obstacles and obstacles that the Prophet and his companions faced; threats of death, sabotage, excommunication, deception, slander and so on. But thanks to their persistence, today Islam is one of the largest religions in the world.

Abstract

Education is the most important thing nowadays, with education humans can become quality human beings and be able to live a good life. To make this happen, as a teacher/educator you must strive for student success in learning. Method of implementing KKN service by STAI Jam'iyah Mahmudiyah Tanjung Pura students in Rantau Bintang Village KEC.Bandar Pusaka KAB.Aceh Tamiang regarding "Socialization of strategies for improving the quality of education through creative and innovative learning methods". It is hoped that this research can change learning strategies that are not only able to work but can be digested and are enjoyable for students.Through an inclusive and participatory approach, the KKN team from STAI Jam'iyah Mahmudiyah Tanjung Pura is able to design and implement programs that do not only focus on aspects Education, but also the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of the concept of Merdeka Belajar through Pancasila Profile students in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at Ar Ridha Pantai Cermin IT Junior High School. The research uses descriptive qualitative method to deeply understand the dynamics of learning in the field. Data are collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis related to the learning process. The results showed that the implementation of Merdeka Belajar creates a pleasant learning environment, with learning that favours students and the use of varied methods by PAI teachers tailored to student needs. Teachers at SMP IT Ar Ridha Pantai Cermin also emphasise the importance of noble moral values, global diversity, mutual cooperation, independence, critical reasoning, and creativity in accordance with the Pancasila Learner Profile. The obstacles faced include the lack of socialisation and training from the education office and the lack of technical guidance related to the preparation of the Merdeka Curriculum teaching module, most of which information is conveyed through WhatsApp groups based on the Ministry of Education and Culture's circular letter.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explain the role of religious education in helping the process of character formation of students at Madinatussalam Private MTs. Qualitative descriptive research method. In the process of collecting data, using observation, interviews and documentation methods. Meanwhile, for the analysis, qualitative descriptive analysis techniques are used, namely in the form of written or verbal data from people and observed behavior so that in this case the author attempts to conduct research that thoroughly describes the actual situation. The author can conclude the results of this research as follows: First, the school's efforts to realize character education are: 1) conducting Islamic studies; 2) take advantage of the commemoration of Islamic Holidays (PHBI); 3) oblige and get used to saying hello and shaking hands with teachers; 4) oblige and make it a habit to always comply with the rules and culture at school; 5) make it mandatory and get used to always praying in congregation when at school. Second, the efforts of Islamic religious education teachers in forming student character: 1) maximizing the delivery of Islamic religious education material; 2) instilling the Islamic style of Ahlusunnah Waljama'ah; 3) Islamic religious education teachers must be active and be role models for their students in applying character education. Third, the strategies carried out by Islamic religious education teachers: 1) use of effective learning approach methods; 2) use of discussion and demonstration methods.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis secara mendalam konsep pendidikan anak dalam perspektif pemikiran tokoh-tokoh Islam klasik seperti Al-Ghazali, Ibnu Sina, dan Ibnu Khaldun. Dengan mengkaji karya-karya mereka, penelitian ini berupaya menemukan prinsip-prinsip pendidikan anak yang holistik dan berkarakter, serta bagaimana prinsip-prinsip tersebut dapat diimplementasikan dalam konteks pendidikan anak di era modern. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan (library research). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep pendidikan anak dalam perspektif tokoh-tokoh Islam klasik memiliki prinsip-prinsip yang komprehensif, mencakup pembentukan karakter dan akhlak mulia sejak dini, pendekatan holistik dalam pengembangan potensi anak, metode pengajaran yang disesuaikan dengan tahapan perkembangan anak, peran orang tua dan lingkungan dalam mendukung pendidikan anak, serta relevansi dan adaptasi konsep pendidikan anak dalam era modern. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga tentang warisan intelektual Islam dalam pendidikan anak dan bagaimana konsep-konsep tersebut dapat diadaptasi serta untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan anak di zaman sekarang.
