Abstract

From 2016 to 2019, mass protests were organized by the "Islamic Defense Action 212" in Jakarta. Protests carried out by Islamic populists and the widespread use of identity politics have sparked an escalating wave of intolerance that has led to fractures in inter-religious relations in Indonesia. The phenomenon of intolerance described above is one of the main cases that researchers will analyze by tracing its impact on the continuity of inter-religious dialogue in Indonesia. This research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative analysis approach. This research found that there is a threat to inter-religious dialogue, namely the impact of increased intolerance, which has contributed to increasing the attitude of exclusivity from several Muslim groups in Indonesia toward non-Muslim religious communities. If the Islamic populist actions that occurred in 2019 were repeated in the next few years, especially before the political year, it would undermine the order of peace among religious communities in Indonesia, and dialogue between religions would be difficult to implement.  Keywords: Islamic populists, identity politics, religious intolerance, harmony, interreligious dialogue

Abstract

The values contained in the mamapas lewu tradition include willingness to sacrifice, mutual cooperation, respect for God, mutual cooperation, expression of gratitude, self-purification, self-control, eliminating envy, envy and revenge and loyalty to promises. In context, other tribes may just be making small talk as an effort to bring closer relations with others. But the Dayak people need free space to express their culture and traditions. In other words, the Dayak tribe needs traditions to create space for others. If we look closely, each tribe has a different perception of seeing the same reality regarding the placement of themselves towards other people. Dayak people tend to distance themselves and withdraw, while other tribes tend to eliminate distance at the level of social relations. In this way, eating lewu can eliminate social distance between people in society. The aim of the tolerance values contained in the mamapas lewu tradition is that people adapt to a heterogeneous environment and can adapt and relativize their own views on ethnicity and religion, thereby giving space to others. In this way, mamapas lewu can be interpreted as restoring balance between humans and nature, fellow humans and humans with God.

Abstract

Hurung Bunut Village is one of the tourist villages in Gunung Mas Regency which was inaugurated in 2016. With the Sapta Pesona label in Hurung Bunut village, the community is invited to participate in regional development. One of the problems faced by the Hurung Bunut village community is brand knowledge. This is evidenced by the lack of special packaging used by the public to market cassava chips, banana chips and Kalulut honey, as well as the lack of social media accounts to promote them. The service task carried out by the Community Service (PkM) team of the Missiology Study Program of the Palangka Raya State Christian Institute focuses on packaging production and the use of social media to promote brands in Hurung Bunut Village. The success of a product brand in the market is supported by its packaging. One of the factors that determine the success of a product brand in the market is supported by packaging aesthetics, packaging design, and promotional materials. In addition, the success of a product in the market depends on how much people know about a product, including through packaging and brand marketing communications on social media. The methodology the Community Service Team uses for the Misiology degree program is the ABCD approach. Through this socialization, Hurung Bunut Village can independently and sustainably promote the brand by applying the knowledge gained from the training provided to achieve the dream of becoming Sapta Pesona.
