Abstract

This study describes the change in the criteria for the start of Fajr Muhammadiyah time, the criteria used so far are suspected of not having the latest empirical basis. The focus of this research is: Review of the Fiqh of Ikhtilāf on the Construction of Changes in the Initial Criteria for Muhammadiyah Dawn in Relation to the Development of Astronomy Studies in Indonesia? The conclusions of this study are: changes in the initial criteria for Fajr Muhammadiyah have a strong foundation, namely: the opinion of astronomy or astronomy scholars from the 4th century to the present, the determination of the time of dawn from various countries, and the Study of the Tarjih Assembly regarding dawn observations in Indonesia. This is a legal and scientific basis in studying changes in the initial criteria for Fajr. This became the basis for the initial study at Dawn in relation to the development of the study of Astronomy in Indonesia.

Abstract

Dowry is a condition of marriage. However, the shape and size are not specified. Anything of value can be used as a dowry. The tradition of the people of Tanjung Senang sub-district is that the dowry is in the form of gold. The problem of this research is: what is the perspective of Islamic law on the practice of dowry in the form of gold in the Tanjung Senang sub-district community? After collecting data in the form of interviews and analyzing it, this research concludes that: The tradition of dowry in the form of gold is inherent and brings benefits to the people of Tanjung Senang District, and is in line with Islamic law and Positive Law in Indonesia. The dowry value is related to the education, profession, and social status of the future wife and husband, and the family discussions between both parties. There is a wedding dowry in the form of gold alone or added with other items. This tradition is in line with and accommodated by Islamic law and positive law in Indonesia.

Abstract

The fulfillment of love language is the duty of both husband and wife. However, the reality is that this rationale is not understood and known by all levels of society. Based on initial interviews that researchers have conducted with several subjects from married couples aged 1-5 years in Taman Fajar village. Many couples have done the language of love that is meant in the theory of love language, but they are not fully aware of what they are doing including the language of love as conveyed by Chapman so that many of them do not know what love language their partner has, so that it has an impact on the emergence of domestic conflict. Seeing the lack of love language that is difficult for couples to express can lead to divorce in marriages of less than the first five years, and this is the reference for researchers to choose the topic. The purpose of this study is how the application of love language in maintaining household harmony in married couples at the age of marriage 0-5 years and how Islamic Family Law views the application of love language in maintaining household harmony in married couples at the age of marriage 0-5 years in Taman Fajar Village, Purbolinggo District, East Lampung Regency. The method used in this research is a qualitative method in which the author conducts interviews, documents and field observations. The results obtained in this study are the application of love language or love language carried out with the aim of perfecting communication in order to maintain family integrity or harmony in the household. The application of love language or love language that is intertwined by respondents is not only verbal but also equipped with non-verbal communication. In the review of Islamic family law (syakinah family), the application of love language provides many benefits such as increasing harmony in the household, increasing family resilience in preventing conflict, husband and wife need each other and complement each other, and the association of husband and wife in a good way (mu'asyarah bil ma'ruf).

Abstract

The accurate Qibla direction has significant contribution to the perfection of Muslim’s praying (shalat). It is very tough to pray with a completely straight position towards the Qibla. In addition, to build a mosque with accurate Qibla direction is not easy. It may have been measured properly but there was a shift in its development. The position of mosque where they were praying may shift a few degrees from the accurate direction of Qibla. Therefore, this paper will discuss the Qibla direction in order to avoid the difficulty in praying.
