Abstract

Media is one of the tools that can convey learning material so that learning objectives can be achieved properly and provide concrete examples to students. Today's young generation is so close to the name technology, where teachers as much as possible to utilize technology. In learning, teachers can use digital-based learning media, one of which can use the LearningApps website, because learning using digital media can attract children's attention, can facilitate children to be able to learn more widely, more, and varied. The purpose of this service activity, to introduce this LearningApps website to teachers so that it can be implemented in learning activities. This service activity is carried out using the planning and implementation method. When teachers try to use the LearningApps website, there are some difficulties but teachers can solve them well with the help and directions that have been explained. Even though they had difficulties, teachers were still interested in learning to use LearningApps and teachers' skills seemed to have improved in this workshop on the use of digital-based learning media.

Abstract

The use of learning models to improve students' creative thinking.The objective of this research is to observe the student learning activities and the raise of students' creative thinking ability after using the quantum teaching model in 4th Graders at one of SDN Purwakarta Regency. Using the class action research model of John Eliot Darmadi in two cycles, with each cycle including four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Observation, tests, and documentation obtained the data, with 28 students were selected as the sample. The results showed an average of 66.5 or 32% in the initial condition stage; an average of 70.2 or 57% in the pre-cycle stage; an average of 74.8 or 61% in the first cycle stage;and an average of 87.6 or 96% in the second cycle. According to the findings of the study research, there were increases of 25% in the initial condition stage to the pre-cycle, 4% in the precycle stage to the first cycle, 35% in the first cycle to the second cycle, and 39% in the pre- cycle stage to the second cycle. It is concluded that the quantum teaching method can help students develop their critical thinking abilities in social studies learning.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SDN 1 Ciwareng class IV IPAS subject. The background in the study is related to the learning outcomes of students who on average get scores below the KKM. In general, the KKM value determined in elementary schools is 70. The factor that causes students to be less active in the learning process and the average value is below KKM is that the learning carried out in the classroom still uses conventional methods. One of the efforts that can be made is to apply a picture and picture type cooperative learning model that can make students learn in groups and train teamwork. The type of research used is quasi experiment with Non-equivalent Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample used in the study was grade IV students of SDN 1 Ciwareng with a total of 57 students divided into experimental groups and control groups. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is an effect on student learning outcomes of 16.7%. Meanwhile, the increase in learning outcomes that received treatment with the picture and picture type cooperative learning model was seen from the average n-gain score of the experimental group of 0.4441 in the medium category, and the control group of 0.2349 in the low category. This means that the use of the picture and picture type cooperative learning model is better than the conventional model. Abstract

The background of this study is that it is still often found that students during learning activities look unprepared to receive material and many of them are still less interested in Civics lessons, resulting in learning activities not running properly which makes the learning outcomes obtained by students less than optimal. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of cognitive learning outcomes of Civics students who get learning treatment using project-based learning (PjBL) learning model and tofind out how the effect of project-based learning (PjBL) learning model on cognitive learning outcomes of Civics students in elementary school. This study used a quasi-experimental type using a sample of fifth grade elementary school students as many as 21 students from the experimental class and 21 students from the control class. The project-based learning (PjBL) model treatment was given to the experimental class while the control class received the STAD cooperative model treatment. The test instrument used in this study was in the form of multiple choice, to measure the ability of the student learning outcomes studied. The results in this study were seen from the average score obtained by students during the pretest before getting treatment in the experimental class of 68.10, then when the posttest was carried out, the average score of students increased to 87.17. Then in the calculation of the regression test of the pretest and posttest data, the value of Fcount > Ftable or 66.424> 4.38 means that H0 is rejected. Thus it can be concluded that the cognitive learning outcomes of Civics students in the experimental class have increased after getting the project-based learning (PjBL) model treatment and there is a great influence on the use of the project-based learning (PjBL) model on the cognitive learning outcomes of Civics students in the experimental class.

Abstract

Abstract The ability to think critically is one of the things that must be possessed by students in social studies learning. Based on the results of the data obtained in the field, namely SDN 4 Nagrikaler, it is known that students' critical thinking skills are still low, therefore efforts are needed to improve critical thinking skills. So the researcher tries to apply the modelcooperative learning typemake a match namely the learning model of matching questions and answers to each other in a pleasant atmosphere. This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills at SDN 4 Nagrikaler, especially focusing on the VA class with a total of 26 students. Consists of 14 male students and 12 female students. The method used in this research is a class action research method (CAR) using a model spiral Kemmis and Mc. Taggart, which consists of the process of planning, implementing actions, observation and reflection. From the research that has been carried out, the data shows that there is an increase that occurs in each cycle. In cycle I, the average value of student learning outcomes was 55.9 with a percentage of 42.3%, which was still far from the specified KKM, namely 70, only 11 out of 26 students completed. In the second cycle there was an increase with an average score of 81.1 student learning outcomes with a percentage of 88.4%, 23 students had reached KKM and 3 students had not completed it. It can be concluded that the learning modelcooperative learning typemake a match can improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school students. Keywords: Models cooperative learning type make a match, Critical thinking, IPS. Abstrak Kemampuan berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu hal yang harus dimiliki oleh siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS. Berdasarkan hasil data yang didapatkan di lapangan yaitu SDN 4 Nagrikaler, diketahui bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa tergolong masih rendah, maka dari itu perlu adanya upaya dalam hal meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis. Maka peneliti mencoba menerapkan model cooperative learning tipe make a match yaitu model pembelajaran saling mencocokan soal dan jawaban dalam suasana yang menyenangkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di SDN 4 Nagrikaler terutama fokus pada kelas VA dengan jumlah 26 siswa. Terdiri dari 14 siswa laki-laki dan 12 siswa perempuan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan model spiral Kemmis dan Mc. Taggart, yang terdiri dari proses perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Dari penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, data menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang terjadi pada setiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 55,9 dengan presentase 42,3% masih jauh dari KKM yang ditentukan yaitu 70 hanya 11 dari 26 siswa yang tuntas. Pada siklus ke II mengalami peningkatan dengan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 81,1 dengan presentase 88,4%, sebanyak 23 siswa sudah mencapai KKM dan yang belum tuntas sebanyak 3 siswa. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran cooperative learning tipe make a match dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar.
