Abstract

Media is one of the tools that can convey learning material so that learning objectives can be achieved properly and provide concrete examples to students. Today's young generation is so close to the name technology, where teachers as much as possible to utilize technology. In learning, teachers can use digital-based learning media, one of which can use the LearningApps website, because learning using digital media can attract children's attention, can facilitate children to be able to learn more widely, more, and varied. The purpose of this service activity, to introduce this LearningApps website to teachers so that it can be implemented in learning activities. This service activity is carried out using the planning and implementation method. When teachers try to use the LearningApps website, there are some difficulties but teachers can solve them well with the help and directions that have been explained. Even though they had difficulties, teachers were still interested in learning to use LearningApps and teachers' skills seemed to have improved in this workshop on the use of digital-based learning media.

Abstract

Self-esteem can be defined as how people feel about themselves in relation to the importance of achievement, positive interpersonal relationships, and psychological well-being (Vohs & Baumeister, 2016). This research is limited, with the aim of knowing the relationship between self esteem and the level of confidence of 4th semester students. The total number of research respondents is N = 40. Data collection was carried out through goggle form with the type of Quantitative research with sequential explanatory design and purposive sampling technique. The results showed that there is a relationship between self esteem and self-confidence of 4th semester students of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui strategi pengembangan promosi perpustakaan Cahaya Aksara SMA N 5 Pekanbaru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah siswa mengetahui informasi mengenai instagram perpustakaan cahaya aksara melalui guru , siswa merasa pemenuhan informasi yang dibutuhkan sudah cukup baik. Konten instagram perpustakaan cahaya aksara membuat siswa dan siswi tertarik mengunjungi perpustakaan dan meminjam buku. Informasi yang diunggah beragam, diantaranya pelatihan penulisan, kunjungan dari berbagai sekolah dan instansi serta studi banding, MoU, kegiatan perlombaan, workshop, qhatam qur’an, serah terima mahasiswa PLP dari berbagai universitas di Pekanbaru, festival pelajar, penyerahan pemenang lomba pojok baca, pembagian buku paket, memperingati hari hari besar, pergelaran seni siswa, pengembalian buku paket, sumbangan buku oleh Tiong Ha, kegiatan pembelajaran, rapat dinas SMAN 5 Pekanbaru dan lainnya.

Abstract

Student character development is one of the primary goals of education, playing a crucial role in shaping students' personalities, attitudes, and behaviors to align with the nation's moral, social, and cultural values. Discipline is one of these traits. The school environment plays a strategic role as a place for character development because schools serve not only as a place to transfer knowledge but also as a place to cultivate character values ​​through school culture, the role models and roles of teachers, and social interactions between students. This article aims to examine the role of the school environment in developing students' disciplined character based on the results of a review of various relevant literature sources. The method used in writing this article is a literature study, collecting, reviewing, and analyzing various journal articles related to character education and the school environment. The results of the study indicate that a conducive school environment, supported by a positive school culture, consistent implementation of discipline, role models and the role of educators, and learning and extracurricular activities integrated with character values, influences the development of student character development. Therefore, managing the school environment oriented towards strengthening character values ​​needs to be a crucial aspect in the implementation of education. Keywords: character development, school environment, character education   Abstrak Pembentukan karakter siswa merupakan salah satu tujuan utama pendidikan yang berperan penting dalam membentuk kepribadian, sikap, dan perilaku siswa agar sesuai dengan nilai-nilai moral, sosial, dan budaya bangsa. Salah satunya yaitu karakter disiplin. Lingkungan sekolah memiliki peran strategis sebagai tempat pembinaan karakter karena sekolah tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat untuk mentransfer pengetahuan, tetapi juga sebagai tempat pembiasaan nilai-nilai karakter melalui budaya sekolah, keteladanan dan peran guru, serta interaksi sosial antarsiswa. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran lingkungan sekolah dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa berdasarkan hasil kajian dari berbagai sumber literatur yang relevan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah studi pustaka (studi literatur) dengan mengumpulkan, menelaah, dan menganalisis berbagai artikel jurnal yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan karakter dan lingkungan sekolah. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan sekolah yang kondusif, didukung oleh budaya sekolah yang positif, penerapan disiplin yang konsisten, keteladanan dan peran pendidik, serta kegiatan pembelajaran dan ekstrakurikuler yang terintegrasi nilai-nilai karakter, berpengaruh dalam perkembangan pembentukan karakter siswa. Oleh karena itu, pengelolaan lingkungan sekolah yang berorientasi pada penguatan nilai karakter perlu menjadi perihal penting dalam penyelenggaraan pendidikan. Kata kunci: pembentukan karakter, lingkungan sekolah, pendidikan karakter
