Abstract

This research employs symmetrical correlational methodology with the goal of investigating the potential link between the allocation of pocket money and the level of interest in mathematics learning among sixth-grade students attending Muhammadiyah Pulokadang Elementary School. A total of 30 students participated as samples in this study. Information was gathered through the administration of questionnaires and the exakeinginanion of relevant documentation. Analysis of the data entailed employing descriptive statistical techniques alongside inferential statistical methods. The results of the descriptive analysis indicate that the average score for the pocket money provision questionnaire is 59.3, indicating a good category, while the average score for the mathematics learning interest questionnaire is 66.40, which also indicates a very good category. The Pearson product-moment correlation test was conducted with a significance level set at 5%, resulting in a significance value of 0.029, which is less than 0.05. Hence, the null hypothesis was rejected. Based on these findings, it can be inferred that there exists a noteworthy and positive correlation between the provision of pocket money and the level of interest in mathematics learning among students. Additionally, this implies that offering pocket money may positively influence the degree of interest in mathematics learning among sixth-grade students attending Muhammadiyah Pulokadang Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the approach to school financial management that can enhance the quality of education. The method used is qualitative, with the research conducted at Muhammadiyah Mlati Senior High School. Data collection was carried out through observations, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis utilized an interactive analysis model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. To ensure the validity of the data, the researcher conducted triangulation and referred to other references. The results of the study indicate that the financial management of the school in improving the quality of education at Muhammadiyah Mlati Senior High School involves seven stages: (1) holding meetings at the beginning of the academic year; (2) formulating programs; (3) preparing budgets; (4) conducting revision discussions; (5) evaluating outcomes; (6) providing feedback; and (7) preparing the School Revenue and Expenditure Budget Plan (RAPBS).

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui pengembangan konten berbentuk e-modul di platform Microsoft Teams yang valid, praktis dan efektif dalam mengoptimalisasi kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian dan pengembangan (RnD) bermodel ADDIE. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu 30 murid kelas VII A SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik pengumpulan data berupa lembar validasi, angket respon murid, serta tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Berdasarkan uji validitas, konten dengan skor rata-rata 93,33 berkategori valid dari segi media dan hasil uji validasi ahli materi dengan skor rata-rata 30,67 berkategori valid. Berdasarkan hasil angket respon murid, memperoleh skor rata-rata 42,67 berkategori praktis. Data hasil posttest diperoleh skor rata-rata 82,92 dan pretest dengan skor rata-rata 45,92. Hasil dari uji paired sampel t-test diperoleh 0,00<0,05 dengan arti adanya perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis sebelum dan ssesudah pembelajaran dengn konten berupa e-modul bilangan bulat pada platform Microsoft Teams tersebut. Hasil N-Gain memperoleh skor 0,68 dengan kategori sedang. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa konten berupa e-modul bilangan bulat pada platform Microsoft Teams yang dikembangkan dapat dikatakan efektif untuk mengoptimalisasi kemampuan komunikasi matematis murid.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum for 10th-grade students at SMA Muhammadiyah Mlati. The research involved 18 teachers and 72 10th-grade students as the population, with all students selected as the sample using a total sampling technique. A quantitative approach with descriptive data analysis was employed. Data were collected through observation, interviews, observation questionnaires, and document analysis related to the curriculum's implementation. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMA Muhammadiyah Mlati has been successful, as reflected by the majority of respondents rating it as “Excellent” in the distributed questionnaires. This suggests that the curriculum has been applied effectively. These results are consistent with previous studies that highlight the benefits of personalized learning approaches in helping students catch up more efficiently. With continued support from various stakeholders, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum is expected to become more optimal and contribute positively to the advancement of education at SMA Muhammadiyah Mlati

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Cool Critical Creative Meaningful (3CM) learning model on the critical thinking skills of Grade X-A students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Sleman. The model is expected to promote meaningful learning and enhance students' higher-order thinking skills. This research employs a quantitative approach using a Pre-Experimental Design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest type. The sample consisted of 28 students from class X-A. The instrument used was a critical thinking test developed based on the indicators of Focus, Reason, Inferences, Situation, Clarity, and Overview, and had been tested for validity and reliability. Pretest and posttest results were analyzed using normality tests, Paired Sample T-Test, and N-gain analysis. The findings show a significant improvement in students' critical thinking skills following the implementation of the 3CM model, with the average score increasing from 55.16 to 87.30 and an N-gain score of 0.72 (high category). All critical thinking indicators showed improvement, with the "Situation" indicator showing the highest increase. These results indicate that the 3CM learning model is effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills and can serve as a reference in the development of innovative learning strategies and curriculum evaluation at the senior high school level.
