Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan metode karyawisata dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak di Taman Kanak-kanak Negeri Pembina 01 Air Haji, serta mengetahui langkah–langkah pembeljaran metode karya wisata di masa pasca pandemi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subyek penelitian yaitu kepala sekolah dan guru di Taman Kanak-kanak Negeri Pembina 01 Air Haji. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dan Interpretasi Data dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah 1) Pelaksanaan pembeljaran metode karyawisata dalam memotivasi belajar anak pasca pandemi dilakukan satu kali seminggu sesuai temanya dan kegiatan rutin satu kali sebulan berkaryawisata ke pantai. 2) Penerapan langkah-langkah metode karyawisata ini terlaksana sesuai dengan perencanaan. 3) Objek karyawisata yang dipilih yaitu terdekat dengan sekolah dan sesuai dengan tema. 4) kegiatan yang dipilih disesuaikan tema dan objek wisata sehingga kegiatan menjadi menarik. 5) Walaupun ada kekurangan guru mampu mengatasi hambatan itu dengan sederhana. 6) Sehingga pembeljran metode karya wisata di Taman Kanak-kanak Negeri Pembina 01 Air Haji ini bisa tercapai dengana baik sesuai tujuan pembelajrannya dan efektif untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar anak.

Abstract

Batik is one of Indonesia's most renowned traditional art forms, crafted by hand and rich in cultural significance. Introducing batik to children early is essential for preserving local heritage and fostering creativity, imagination, and motor skill development. This study aims to explore the identification of batik motifs in art education at PPBI Batik Kindergarten Yogyakarta and its role in enhancing creativity and cultural awareness in early childhood. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subjects included the principal and teachers of the kindergarten. Data analysis involved reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that several traditional batik motifs are incorporated into art learning, including kawung, parang, lereng (slope), truntum, and semen motifs, alongside modernized variations created by the children. The study demonstrated that identifying and learning batik motifs enhanced children’s artistic skills and deepened their cultural awareness. Through the use of visual and qualitative analysis methods, children were able to understand and appreciate the symbolic meanings of various motifs. Their participation in the creative process—from motif introduction, drawing, and canting to coloring—enhanced their creativity and art skills. This research concludes that art education involving batik at PPBI Batik Kindergarten Yogyakarta fosters children’s creativity, artistic abilities, and cultural awareness while contributing to the broader preservation of Indonesia's cultural heritage.

Abstract

In this digital era, parenting plays an important role in shaping environmental awareness and nature-friendly behavior in early childhood. Children at this time are often exposed to technology from an early age, so excessive use can affect children's attitudes and behavior towards the environment. This study aims to identify the role of appropriate parenting on environmental care in the digital era in early childhood. This research uses a qualitative study with a literature review research method by collecting various scientific sources. This research aims to convey information about how the role of parenting can affect children's environmental care attitudes in the digital era. An important finding in this study is that the role of parents in shaping children's character, especially in the digital era, is very important. Parents must understand the characteristics of children in the digital era, apply appropriate parenting patterns and build effective communication with children. The importance of applying democratic and authoritative parenting, in helping children develop positive environmental awareness. Therefore, the importance of early religious and moral values education as an effort to instill environmental awareness in children. Parents' involvement in children's learning, both at home and at school, is a key factor in shaping environmental awareness in early childhood.
