Abstract

Quality of the school system is an important consideration for parents when homeschooling children. The research aims to measure and assess the success of the strategy to improve the quality of basic education institutions at the SD/MI level. The focus of the research is the analysis of indicators for measuring and assessing success as well as the level of strategy in the organization as an effort to improve the quality of basic education institutions. This research uses a qualitative approach with the method of literature study. The data sources and materials for analysis of the study use scientific literature in the form of books, articles, seminar proceedings (national or international), and final assignments (thesis, thesis, dissertation). Furthermore, the validity of the data was tested by cross-checking the study analysis materials. The results of this study concluded that the measurement and assessment of the level of success is based on learning components, including learning methods, learning facilities, and achieving goals. Furthermore, measurement and assessment efforts must be carried out with a periodic assessment system through indicators contained in the implementation operational standards (SOP). Finally, it is said that the quality of basic education institutions can be improved after using a tiered measurement and assessment strategy, starting from the assessment of the leadership level, the level of allied subject teachers (Subject Teacher Consultations), and for each subject teacher (subject).

Abstract

Biodiesel has an important role in the world of transportation and its existence is taken into account. So the availability of biodiesel fuel in the future will be difficult to eliminate and must continue to be fulfilled. Therefore, it is necessary to innovate to increase the availability of biodiesel fuel. Biodiesel can be made from biological materials and includes renewable energy as a substitute for diesel oil. The production of biodiesel in this study jatropha and waste cooking oil as raw materials. This study aims to determine the effect of density and viscosity on the injection characteristics of jatropha-waste cooking oil biodiesel mixtures (1:4 and 4:1) on various B5-B40 fuels. Production of biodiesel from jatropha and waste cooking oil through degumming, esterification and transesterification processes. The results showed that the jatropha-waste cooking oil biodiesel mixed with 1:4 level B15 and 4:1 mixed with B10 level complied with SNI 7182-2015 biodiesel standards. The higher the density and viscosity values of jatropha-waste cooking oil biodiesel, the narrower the spray angle and the longer the spray penetration

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of E-PBB in PBB-P2 data collection in Lalat Regency. The E-PBB system is expected to increase efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in the management of taxpayer data, as well as accelerate the process of data collection and tax payment. This study uses a qualitative approach with interview, observation, and documentation methods to explore information related to the implementation of E-PBB, supporting factors, and obstacles in the tax digitization process in Langkat Regency. The results of the study show that E-PBB has a positive impact in accelerating and simplifying the taxpayer data collection process. However, several obstacles, such as the low digital literacy of the community and the limitations of technological infrastructure, are still challenges in optimizing this system. Support from local governments and the use of digital payment platforms are the main supporting factors, while limited internet networks and lack of socialization are significant inhibiting factors. The study suggests increasing education and socialization to the public, improving technological infrastructure, and providing incentives to taxpayers who use digital systems to increase their participation in tax reporting and payment. Thus, it is hoped that the implementation of E-PBB can be more effective in supporting better data collection and regional tax revenue in the future.

Abstract

This study adopts a systematic literature review to analyze social media sentiment towards specific commodities to enhance the accuracy of price movement forecasts in commodity markets. Drawing from the field of applied mathematics, the research gathered literature from Scopus, DOAJ, and Google Scholar databases, covering publications from 2014 to 2024. A rigorous search strategy yielded 66 journal articles, with 30 being selected for their close relevance to keywords such as "social media sentiment," "commodity markets," and "price forecasting." Results indicate that social media sentiment significantly influences commodity prices, with particular variations based on commodity type and geographical context. Specific sentiment factors—especially intensity, polarity, and timing—were found to have a pronounced impact on price dynamics, with sentiment polarity being particularly influential in volatile markets. Additionally, advanced analytical methods, like Bayesian Dynamic Linear Models and LSTM neural networks, enhance predictive accuracy when applied to sentiment analysis in this context. These findings underscore the value of social media sentiment in refining forecasting models, while also highlighting gaps in understanding regional sentiment variations and their effects on different commodity types. By synthesizing these insights, this study emphasizes the importance of considering social media sentiment for more accurate price predictions and identifies key areas for future research to explore the multifaceted impacts of sentiment in commodity markets.
