Abstract

This study aims to determine the optimal LPG gas distribution route where the distance traveled becomes closer so that it will minimize transportation costs and in terms of time make the distribution more efficient. The route uses the location of 7 bases that will be addressed by agents from PT XYZ in distributing LPG gas. This practical work took place from February to March 2024. The method used in relation to this route problem is Simulated Annealing where as iterations increase, the algorithm will tend to reject poor solutions. Thus, the graphical results will show a gradual decrease in fitness value towards a more optimal solution. The results of this practical work show that the use of the Simulated Annealing method is feasible in finding the optimal route. This method produces a final route with a distance of 50.8 km to 49.3 km with a travel route from PT XYZ- PG. Agus A LPG- PG. LPG Store Mr. Tri- PG. LPG Pertamina Bp. Didik- PG. LPG Budi- PG. LPG Pertamina Sunarno- PG. LPG Sugiman- PG. Lasmini LPG until returning to PT XYZ.

Abstract

Agriculture Business Company is a company that runs in the field of agriculture, in the form of rice or paddy. However, the company focuses more on rice. The company is experiencing problems in meeting consumer demand for original pandan wangi rice which still cannot be fulfilled due to limited raw materials. With this problem, forecasting is carried out using the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) and Seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (SARIMA) methods. The data used is pandan wangi rice demand data for the period January 2021 to December 2023, with Minitab software as a calculation tool. The results of data processing show that the data obtained is not seasonal, therefore only processing is carried out using the ARIMA method. The research results of the best model in forecasting consumer demand for original pandan wangi rice at the Agriculture Business Company is the ARIMA (0, 1, 1) Model with an MSE value of 34.39. The MSE value is the smallest MSE value for the original pandan wangi rice demand forecasting model at the Agriculture Business Company. The advice given to the company is that from the results of the research, the company can later make a reference in shopping for raw materials and evaluate what factors can increase the value of demand.

Abstract

Gusti Batik is a company that operates in the fashion trade sector, especially batik clothing. In carrying out its work, there are several risks that can affect health caused by workplace conditions that are not in accordance with the needs of workers. Therefore, an ergonomic sewing chair was designed to improve the posture of the tailors at the Gusti Batik convection which was carried out by analyzing body posture using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA), Time Study, and Anthropometry Methods. Improvements were made in order to increase productivity in the sewing process by making ergonomic sewing chairs that Gusti Batik hopes can create a healthier and more productive work environment, reduce the risk of injury, and increase operational efficiency through continuous ergonomic improvements. Based on calculations using the REBA tailor method before the repair, a REBA score of 8 was obtained and after the repair, a REBA score of 5 was obtained. The results of the study using the time study method before the repair obtained a total standard time of 2.7 hours/unit. By setting the standard time to 2.5 hours/unit from the previous 2.7 hours/unit, there was an increase of 0.2 hours/unit.
