Abstract

The main problem of Generation Z is their indifference to the social environment, because they have been spoiled by advances in information and communication technology, so they have no concern for the interests of other people. This community service activity takes the form of altruism training which aims to develop caring behavior in generation z teenagers at X Private High School in Jakarta. The number of participants was 95 students (56 women and 49 men). The implementation method is carried out in pre-activity, activity and post-activity stages. Pre-activity issues were deepened through interviews with school principals, guidance and counseling teachers and lesson teachers. The activity period is providing altruism training. After the activity, namely interviewing the school principal, guidance and counseling teachers, lesson teachers and training participants. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation studies. Analysis technique with a qualitative approach. The results of the activity concluded that cognitively, altruism training can provide knowledge of helping behavior based on empathy for other people's conditions, so that they can develop caring behavior to show helping (prosocial) behavior towards other people.

Abstract

Kondisi sebagian siswa SMA Negeri X mengalami persoalan terkait dengan rendahnya motivasi berprestasi, padahal mereka berasal dari siswa-siswi yang berprestasi akademik terbaik Ketika di SMP. Namun, ketika mereka telah menjadi siswa SMA Negeri X justru mengalami penurunan motivasi berprestasiya. Demikian pula, kegiatan PkM ini berupaya untuk menerapkan konseling akademik untuk menumbuhkembangkan motivasi berprestasi pada siswa SMA X di Jakarta. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini menggunakan pendekatan pretesand postesone-group. Sebelum mengikuti kegiatan, para peserta mengisi kuesioner. Demikian pula, setelah kegiatan penyampaian materi, peserta juga diminta untuk mengisi kuesioner. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji rerata setiap peserta PkM dan dibandingkan antara pretes dan postes. Hasilnya diketahui bahwa ada perbedaan signifikan antara total skor pretes (88,8: 36 = 2,46) dengan total skor postes (92,2:36 = 2,56). Nilai postes lebih tinggi daripada nilai skor pretes (rerata total pretes< rerata total postes). Artinya, terjadi peningkatan skor pretes ke postes sebesar 0,1 (2,56–2,46=0,1). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan konseling akademik dapat meningkatkan motivasi berprestasi siswa SMA Negeri X Jakarta.

Abstract

A creative way to implement Law number 16 of 2019 is through developing the song Nineteen Years to prevent early marriage. This qualitative-descriptive research data was collected using a music quality questionnaire and an early marriage prevention questionnaire. The research respondents were 73 teenagers (17-21 years). Data analysis using the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) approach. The research results show that the process of creating the song Nineteen Years goes through ADDIE stages which fulfill the dimensions of musical quality (such as poetry, tempo, rhythm, melody, beat, instrument). The song lyrics are relatively simple, easy to understand and memorize. The tempo of the music is classified as medium (moderate). The rhythm of the music is regular and harmonious. Melody implies a message, idea or notion from the songwriter. Beat the music with the beat of the notes, and the right accent. The musical instruments are sufficient to support the song accompaniment. However, video viewing still has shortcomings and needs improvement to improve the quality of video viewing. It is recommended that the government adopt a policy of grounding marriage laws through creative songs so that teenagers can prevent early marriage.

Abstract

Elementary school students who experience school anxiety are triggered by past experiences due to their psychological trauma as victims of bullying from their school friends. This article aims to examine community service related to developing self-concept to overcome school anxiety among victims of bullying in elementary school students. The method for implementing PKM activities is the one-group pre-test post-test technique. The number of participants was 31 students, but after screening to obtain data on students who experienced anxiety about going to school, 11 students were obtained who were anxious about going to school. A total of 11 students were involved in developing self-concept and 20 students were not involved in developing self-concept. Data were collected by distributing school anxiety questionnaires and self-concept questionnaires. Data analysis technique using mean test calculations. The result is that the pre-test score for school anxiety is (3.545) with the post-test score for school anxiety (3.209), meaning that developing self-concept can reduce school anxiety for elementary school students. So students who are victims of bullying who participate in self-concept development are able to reduce school anxiety.

Abstract

Transformative learning awareness is an individual's self-understanding to learn something in order to make changes in the present and in the future. Transformative awareness encourages individuals to overcome their own shortcomings by improving their academic abilities so that they can be used to face a better life in the future. This community service activity involved a number of teenage students at SMK Y in Jakarta. The implementation method is through pre-test - post-test one group. The data collection technique is by distributing questionnaires given during the pre-test and post-test, namely the academic self-efficacy questionnaire. Data analysis using the mean difference test between pre-test and post-test. It was found that there was a difference in the mean score between the pre-test and post-test (Pre-test Mean Score < Post-Test Mean Score). Transformative learning awareness training activities have a cognitive influence on academic self-efficacy among adolescent students at SMK Y Jakarta ABSTRAK Kesadaran belajar transformatif ialah sebuah pemahaman diri individu untuk belajar sesuatu agar dapat melakukan perubahan di masa kini maupun di masa depan. Kesadaran transformatif mendorong individu untuk mengatasi kekurangan diri-sendiri dengan meningkatkan kemampuan akademik agar dapat dipergunakan menghadapi kehidupan yang lebih baik di masa depan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini melibatkan sejumlah remaja siswa di SMK Y di Jakarta. Metode pelaksanaan melalui pre-test - post-test one group. Teknik pengambilan data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner yang diberikan pada saat pre-test dan post-test yaitu dengan kuesioner academic self-efficacy. Analisis data dengan menggunakan uji beda rerata antara pre-test dan post-test. Ditemukan ada perbedaan nilai rerata antara pre-test dengan post-test (Nilai Rerata Pre-test < Nilai rerata Post-Test). Kegiatan pelatihan kesadaran belajar transformatif memberi pengaruh secara kognitif terhadap academic self-efficacy pada remaja siswa SMK Y Jakarta.

Abstract

Tegal Bedug Kindergarten students experience problems related to academic self-efficacy, especially simple arithmetic. They feel less confident about arithmetic lessons which also impacts on their lack of confidence in their future lives in society. They are the young generation who need serious attention from adults, especially Kindergarten teachers. This activity is a singing activity "Simple Counting" to develop numerical self-efficacy in pre-school students. The participants of the activity were Tegal Bedug Kindergarten students, Lelea, Indramayu, West Java. The method of implementing community service includes 3 stages, namely the pre-activity, activity and post-activity stages. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using different tests (t tests), namely pre-test (pre-activity) and post-test (post-activity). The results of the activity showed that there was a difference between the pre-test and post-test (pre-test < post-test), meaning that the singing activity of "simple counting" has an important role in increasing numerical self-efficacy in pre-school students of Tegal Bedug Kindergarten, Lelea, Indramayu, West Java. ABSTRAK Para siswa Taman Kanak-kanak Tegal Bedug mengalami persoalan terkait dengan academic self-efficacy khususnya masalah berhitung sederhana. Mereka merasa kurang yakin terhadap masalah pelajaran berhitung yang berdampak pula pada kekurang-yakinan terhadap masa depan kehidupan mereka di masyarakat. Mereka adalah generasi muda perlu mendapat perhatian serius dari orang dewasa khususnya para Guru Taman Kanak-kanak. Kegiatan ini merupakan kegiatan menyanyi “ Berhitung Sederhana” untuk menumbuh-kembangkan numerical self-efficacy pada siswa pra-sekolah. Peserta kegiatan adalah para siswa TK Tegal Bedug, Lelea, Indramayu, Jawa Barat. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat meliputi 3 tahap yaitu tahap pra-kegiatan, kegiatan dan paska-kegiatan. Teknik pengambilan data dengan kuesioner. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan uji beda (t test) yaitu pre-test (pra-kegiatan) dan post-test (paska-kegiatan). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara pre-test dengan post-test (pre-test < post-test), artinya kegiatan menyanyi “ berhitung sederhana” memiliki peran penting untuk meningkatkan numerical self-efficacy pada siswa pra-sekolah TK Tegal Bedug, Lelea, Indramayu, Jawa Barat.
