Abstract

Cognitive theory is an important aspect of educational theory, but it is nevertheless misunderstood by some educators. Interestingly, by the beginning of the 15th century, Muslim scholars had begun to emphasize the importance of returning to Islamic teachings based on the Quran and Hadith. It could be that modern theories of learning are rooted in these Islamic teachings or at least have equivalents that can be found. By examining the theoretical concepts of cognitive learning through the lens of Islamic education, this study aims to compare and distinguish Western concepts from those sourced from the Qur'an and Hadith. The research methodology used is literature research, which involves searching for in-depth literature on cognitive learning theory and Islamic education. From the point of view of Islamic education, the findings of this study show that cognitive theory must prioritize the development of students' thinking abilities while still paying attention to their physical and psychological growth. In addition, the study emphasizes that the process of transmitting knowledge is integral, and educators hold an important responsibility in facilitating the cognitive expansion of their students.

Abstract

The implementation of natural tafakur activities in schools still cannot be optimized when followed by students because students do not understand the concept of natural tafakur, and cannot develop their thinking skills more deeply (critically). The formulation of the problem from this study is; (1) How are the nature tafakur activities at SMP Baitul Arqam Qur‟anic Science Sumedang? (2) How is the critical thinking ability of students in PAI subjects at SMP Baitul Arqam Qur‟anic Science Sumedang? and (3) How does the influence of natural tafakur activities on students' critical thinking skills in PAI subjects at SMP Baitul Arqam Qur‟anic Science Sumedang? The research method used is quantitative descriptive which is correlational. Data collection techniques are observation, questionnaires, and literature studies. Quantitative data analysis of this study using SPSS Version 25 application. Based on the results of data analysis, there are the following results; Tafakur Alam activities at SMP Baitul Arqam Qur‟anic Science Sumedang obtained a percentage result of 88.6% in the very good category. Critical Thinking Skills Students at SMP Baitul Arqam Qur‟anic Science Sumedang obtained a percentage result of 81% in the very good category. The influence of natural tafakur activities on students' critical thinking skills has a correlation value of 0.739 with a high category. Data analysis of the sign of regression coefficient (b) with a positive sign (B = 739), natural tafakur activities with students' critical thinking skills have a unidirectional relationship. The closeness of the relationship r=0.671 with the High category. Have a significant relationship (sig = 0.000). R Square = 0.450 with medium category, nature tafakur activities contribute to the critical thinking skills of students of SMP Baitul Arqam Qur‟anic Science Sumedang by 45%. The benefits of research are; can make students more enthusiastic in living the nature tafakur, can be used as a source of reference / additional reference related to the concept of nature tafakur and critical thinking, and can be used as a positive contribution material to improve the quality of schools.

Abstract

Faith education has an important role in holistic student development. The development of digital technology brings profound changes to education. In this digital era, there are many problems faced in the learning process in schools, resulting in an increasing complexity of faith education problems. This article discusses the main problems faced in organizing faith education at SMP Baitul Arqam Qur'anic Science Sumedang in the digital era. The problem of faith education faced is the influence of digitalization on the character, morals and formation of students' self-identity. Efforts are made to deal with these problems by limiting the use of smartphones in students, educating students about the use of smartphones wisely, innovating and creativity in the learning process of faith education, and optimizing digital technology as a tool to increase understanding of faith for students

Abstract

This paper use a mixer methodology is employed, incorporating both a literature review and field studies. The central theme focuses on the management of Education Culture, including its historical development, conceptual framework, and the implementation of transformative iseducation. This paper aims to address three fundamental questions: firstly, what is the concept of Cultural Management in regard to Education? Secondly, what is the history and conception of education management, as well as transformative culture, within the context of Indonesia? Lastly, what contributions does education management make to the transformation of culture within the education sphere in Indonesia. Additionally, this document emphasizes the crucial role of teacher supervision as a definitive process. Moreover, it highlights the integration of culture as an inseparable component of the local community, deeply intertwined with the community's language. Culture (often called local wisdom) will be passed down through generations through oral stories. Education based on truth and nobility, distancing oneself from unreal thoughts, even far from the origins of unpleasant behavior or influence. Leadership education is important for moral (character)/ethics is easy), then the soul (emotional realm) is not only a cognitive and psychomotor realm, but synergizes with culture, education, and tourism, and needs to be developed in a coordinated mannerin education with real regional characteristics.

Abstract

The formation of student character is a key objective of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). To sustain students' interest and motivation in learning, effective and engaging assessment tools are essential. Quizizz, an interactive online platform, offers innovative solutions to achieve this. The digital era has significantly impacted education, with technology enhancing its quality. Quizizz is one of the popular tools in this regard. This study aimed to evaluate the implementation of Quizizz in PAI at SMP Sains Alquran Baitul Arqam. Using the Research and Development (R&D) approach, the study developed and assessed Quizizz’s effectiveness. The findings revealed Quizizz to be efficient, impactful, and conducive to interactive learning. Validation results supported its reliability, with material experts rating it 98.1%, media experts 85%, teachers 97.5%, and students 90%. These results affirm that Quizizz is a practical and effective tool for enhancing educational outcomes in PAI.
