Abstract

The implementation of natural tafakur activities in schools still cannot be optimized when followed by students because students do not understand the concept of natural tafakur, and cannot develop their thinking skills more deeply (critically). The formulation of the problem from this study is; (1) How are the nature tafakur activities at SMP Baitul Arqam Qur‟anic Science Sumedang? (2) How is the critical thinking ability of students in PAI subjects at SMP Baitul Arqam Qur‟anic Science Sumedang? and (3) How does the influence of natural tafakur activities on students' critical thinking skills in PAI subjects at SMP Baitul Arqam Qur‟anic Science Sumedang? The research method used is quantitative descriptive which is correlational. Data collection techniques are observation, questionnaires, and literature studies. Quantitative data analysis of this study using SPSS Version 25 application. Based on the results of data analysis, there are the following results; Tafakur Alam activities at SMP Baitul Arqam Qur‟anic Science Sumedang obtained a percentage result of 88.6% in the very good category. Critical Thinking Skills Students at SMP Baitul Arqam Qur‟anic Science Sumedang obtained a percentage result of 81% in the very good category. The influence of natural tafakur activities on students' critical thinking skills has a correlation value of 0.739 with a high category. Data analysis of the sign of regression coefficient (b) with a positive sign (B = 739), natural tafakur activities with students' critical thinking skills have a unidirectional relationship. The closeness of the relationship r=0.671 with the High category. Have a significant relationship (sig = 0.000). R Square = 0.450 with medium category, nature tafakur activities contribute to the critical thinking skills of students of SMP Baitul Arqam Qur‟anic Science Sumedang by 45%. The benefits of research are; can make students more enthusiastic in living the nature tafakur, can be used as a source of reference / additional reference related to the concept of nature tafakur and critical thinking, and can be used as a positive contribution material to improve the quality of schools.

Abstract

This article discusses the near future of education systems from a planning and administrative perspective. It is thought that the interests of education bind the education system in such a way that no major upheaval is seen. These changes are considered to be the result of the activities of external and internal groups. Thus, attempts were made to draw a caricature picture of the current ideology of education. Another way to look at the direction of change is the position of international education policy. Despite the fact that the change is essentially considered a reformulation, the article concludes that changes in educational administration are possible. Improved market governance and self-governance are thought to have occurred to some extent, but the deregulation of bureaucratic governance and its consequences remains an open question. Finally, appropriate adult schools and educational institutions as organizations and strategies for their development are examined. According to the article, the question of what kind of organization the school is is diverse. In Finnish discourse, the harmonious and open nature of schools may have been exaggerated. The article concludes with a conclusion about the need for changes in educational administration and the importance of studying municipal education administration.

Abstract

The urgency of this research is to observe the moral decadence among the younger generation. Morality, known as ahlak in Islam, is very important in life because ahlak is above knowledge. One form of ahlak reflection is the actualization of religious moderation. This is crucial considering the multicultural condition in Indonesia. This research aims to understand the actualization of religious moderation among students in Bandung City. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey research method. Data collection is done using questionnaires distributed to students in several universities in Bandung City. Respondents are asked to fill out surveys related to the actualization of religious moderation which exhibited in their daily lives. Religious moderation is measured in terms of moderation in relationships among fellow Muslims and moderation in interfaith relationships. The research data is analyzed using the SPSS tool. The research findings show that aspects of religious moderation in most indicators of relations with fellow Muslims are in the high to very high category, with some indicators reaching very high values, indicating a strong understanding and application of religious moderation in relations with fellow Muslims among the respondents. The overall average value of these indicators is 3.2, which means it is in the very high category. The average value of aspects of actualization of religious moderation in interfaith relationships is 2.77, showing a high level of religious moderation, especially in terms of mutual respect and participation in social activities together, although support and solidarity still have room for improvement.  Keywords: religious moderation;  students;  interfaith relationships; solidarity

Abstract

For the past fifty years, the dynamics of guidance have been at the centre of social, political and educational concerns. Many researchers have conceptualized the determinants at work in the development of orientation choices: Bourdieu and Passeron adopt a sociological point of view with their model of social reproduction, while others develop this process of orientation from a more psychological angle, notably with the notion. We wish to contribute to the effort to build knowledge by developing an explanatory model of career choices at the time of entry into higher education. This study involves 265 participants, including 147 students enrolled in the first year of IUT GEA and 118 students enrolled in the first year of an AES degree at the university. There are sociobiographical differences between our two populations. Not surprisingly, our population comes from a higher socio-professional background. For both AES and GEA, the father's level of education is mostly equal to or higher than the baccalaureate with percentages of 56.5% and 66.9% respectively (χ2(2) = 4.25, p = .04). This is also the case for the mother's level of education, with percentages of 57.4% and 67.6% respectively (χ2(2) = 12.68, p = .01). These results also show us that the level of education of both fathers and mothers is, in each case, higher for GEA students The results of this research allow us to affirm that the choices of orientation in the IUT GEA or at the university section AES at the time of entry into higher education are determined by the interrelation of socio-biographical and psychological differences. In particular, this study reveals important distinctions between these two categories of students in their forms of relationship to knowledge, differences that explain their choices of orientation. These choices underpin the projection of the individual into his or her future professional and social integration. However, the position he hopes to occupy in the training landscape, and in particular his sector, suggests a number of future social and professional positions that will be "possible" or "unattainable.

Abstract

This article reports on the results of ḥadÄ«th research on the elimination of a person's badness after someone converts to Islam. The narration (riwÄyat) of ḥadÄ«th is found in á¹¢aḥīḥ al-BukhÄrÄ«, KitÄb al-ĪmÄn, BÄb Ḥusn IslÄm al-Mar’. This study uses the takhrÄ«j al-ḥadÄ«th method. The findings of this study reveal that the narration of the ḥadÄ«th is classified mu’allaq (suspended). Without considering the statements or explanations from the commentators of á¹¢aḥīḥ al-BukhÄrÄ«, this study concludes that the narration of the ḥadÄ«th is categorized á¸a’īf (weak), because the sanad (chain of narrators) was munqaá¹­i’ (interrupted). However, after searching another sanad, it found other narrations of ḥadÄ«th continued to the Prophet, so that the sanad is muttaá¹£il (connected). In other words, the status of the sanad of ḥadÄ«thin á¹¢aḥīḥ al-BukhÄrÄ« was changed from munqaá¹­i’ (broken) to muttaá¹£il (connected) and was judged á¹£aḥīḥ (sound) by the scholars, except Ibn Ḥazm. Because of the soundness, the narrations of ḥadîthare also found in the works of other scholars, such as ḥadîth al-aḥkâmand fiqh.

Abstract

School is a place where students pursue knowledge. Every school generally has a vision and mission related to religious values, aiming to produce a generation with strong religious character. However, based on recent observations, there are still students who display behaviors that indicate a lack of religious attitude, such as speaking harshly, being undisciplined, and lacking manners. This phenomenon underlies the importance of this study, which investigates the implementation of religious development programs at SMPN 27 Bandung in fostering religiosity among students as part of the Islamic generation. This research aims to explore the religious development programs, their implementation, the supporting (internal and external) and inhibiting (internal and external) factors, as well as the impacts of these programs. The study uses a descriptive-analytical method with a qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation review, analyzed using triangulation techniques. The findings reveal that the implementation of the religious development program has a positive impact on enhancing students' religious attitudes. This is evidenced by the improvement in: (1) humility, (2) respect for religious diversity (tolerance), and (3) cooperation in preparing prayer spaces

Abstract

The target of this community service is the Pasir Salam area located in Ancol Village, Regol Subdistrict, Bandung City. When the Covid-19 pandemic hit the world, it greatly impacted the elderly people who were poorly met with basic needs and also their health. In addition, the low motivation to memorize the Qur’an among santri to accommodate the need for religious support. This community service aims to help elderly people who are less fulfilled basic needs and health. Then re-cultivate the motivation of learning in memorizing the Qur’an among santri to accommodate the needs of religious support in the Pasir Salam area. Methods used through the process of observation, interview, and practice directly from the results of the implementation of several main programs and support programs. The results of the main program activities and supporting programs show the success rate with the action of caring for the elderly through donations from the local community to help the basic needs and health of the RW 09 Elderly (Pasir Salam), the implementation of fun learning methods that are in harmony with the conditions of the santri in pasir salam area, and the existence of other activities that trigger community sensitivity to social and religious activities in Pasir Salam. It is determined to have gone well, although some of them have been constrained, but can still be implemented. Therefore, in order to maintain the continuity of the entire program after devotion required the participation of all elements.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Al-Islam and Muhammadiyahan (AIK) learning based on religious moderation on adolescent resilience in Muhammadiyah High School. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The research sample consisted of 100 students in grades XI and XII who were selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected using questionnaires that measured two main variables: AIK learning based on religious moderation and adolescent resilience. The results showed that AIK learning based on religious moderation had a positive and significant influence on adolescent resilience, with a regression coefficient value of 0.671 and significance (p) of 0.000. The AIK learning variable based on religious moderation was able to explain 39.1% of the variation in the level of student resilience. These findings confirm that AIK learning that prioritizes the values of religious moderation contributes to the formation of resilient and resilient adolescent characters in facing life's challenges. Therefore, strengthening AIK learning based on religious moderation is very important to be applied in education to support the formation of a young generation that is not only faithful, but also able to adapt to complex social and psychological dynamics

Abstract

The background of this issue, there are cases of violence mostly by educators is still emerged, must be a serious concern concern, which is shows the low understanding of educators about the concept of humanist education, as exemplified by KH Ahmad Dahlan, Ki Hajar Dewantara or Paulo Friere as a famous figure of educators. The research is aimed to understand the humanist educational thought of a religious patterned (KH Ahmad Dahlan), nationalist (Ki Hajar Dewantara) and socialistic (Paulo Friere) style of humanist education. The method used in this research is a library research with a qualitative approach, by doing descriptive analysis and interpreting the data obtained. The results of this research shows that KH Ahmad Dahlan, Ki Hajar Dewantara and Paulo Freire have similarities in viewing humanist education, although they have a slightly differences in the use of terms and methods of field practical application.
