Abstract

Air bersih di Hamparak Perak masih belum dapat dinikmati oleh seluruh masyarakat terutama desa Klambir Lima Kebon. Penerapan prinsip konservasi air pada kehidupan sehari-hari dapat menjadi solusi dari keterbatasan akses air bersih. Salah satu cara konservasi air yaitu menerapkan sistem pemanenan air hujan di daerah krisis air bersih. Oleh karena pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap penerapan sistem pemanenan air hujan berfilter dalam upaya konservasi air di daerah krisis air. Metode yang digunakan yaitu edukasi terkait pentingnya koservasi air, manfaat penerapan sistem pemanenan air hujan dan cara pembuatan sistem pemanen air hujan berfilter. Berdasarkan hasil sosialisasi sekaligus praktik terjadi peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat sebesar 93% terhadap upaya konservasi air melalui penerapan alat pemanen hujan dan filter air hujan.

Abstract

Usaha kerajinan tangan dari olahan limbah plastik rumah tangga merupakan salah satu produk unggulan dari HANA CRAFT dan menjadi usaha yang potensial di Desa Kelambir Lima Kecamatan Hamparan Perak. Kendala yang dihadapi mitra adalah bidang pemasaran mengenai minat beli masyarakat kurang, strategi pemasaran belum tepat sasaran sementara dalam bidang manajemen khususnya keuangan belum menerapkan tata kelola keuangan yang baik dengan mengikuti standar yang berlaku yaitu SAK EMKM serta legalitas usaha belum terdaftar ddi pemerintah setempat. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini, UMKM HANA CRAFT memperoleh Edukasi SMART BISNIS UMKM melalui pelatihan membangun konsep bidang produksi, bidang pemasaran dan penjualan, bidang manajemen keuangan, bidang Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) secara terpadu. Rangkaian konsep tersebut menjadi sebuah bentuk Galeri Bisnis Terpadu. Galeri tersebut dibangun untuk memperkenalkan produk usaha mitra kepada masyarakat lebih luas maupun masyarakat setempat. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah peningkatan jumlah omzet, kemampuan manajemen meningkat, unit usaha berupa galeri pada usaha mitra terdaftar dibadan hukum. Abstract

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have become a crucial technology in spatial planning and development, particularly for managing complex spatial and attribute data. This study aims to compare two applications of GIS at different scales: first, the use of GIS to create spatially-based regional profiles in Sukolilo District, and second, the application of GIS to map village facilities in Dusun Godhean, Kucur Village. The first study emphasizes the integration of spatial data, such as demographics, geography, and public facilities, to support district-level development planning. Meanwhile, the second study focuses on managing local village data, such as residential areas, village facilities, and residents’ economic conditions, to enhance the efficiency of data management and decision-making at the village level. A descriptive-comparative approach was employed to analyze the benefits, challenges, and opportunities of both GIS implementations. The data were analyzed based on methods, geographic coverage, data relevance, and their impact on spatial planning. The findings show that GIS at the district level provides broad and integrated spatial insights to support strategic development policies. On the other hand, GIS at the village level is more specific in mapping local facilities, aiding the efficient management of local areas. Both approaches face challenges such as limited access to high-resolution data, the need for advanced technology, and the availability of skilled human resources. This study recommends integrating the two approaches to create a more holistic GIS system. District-level GIS can be utilized for strategic analysis, while village-level GIS can enrich detailed local data to support micro-level planning. This integration is expected to enhance the efficiency of spatial-based planning at local and regional levels, thereby supporting more inclusive, adaptive, and sustainable development.

Abstract

This study discusses two different approaches in the use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for regional spatial planning and housing location determination. The first study utilizes participatory GIS with multi-criteria decision-making method (MCDA) to increase public participation in spatial planning. Meanwhile, the second study applies GIS to determine the location of housing in Depok City based on spatial and technical data. This comparative study shows that both approaches have their own advantages: participatory GIS strengthens the inclusivity of decision-making, while technical GIS provides precision in site evaluation based on technical standards. The integration of these two approaches can result in a more holistic, efficient, and sustainable spatial planning model. The paper also recommends the development of a web-based GIS platform to incorporate inclusivity and precision of technical evaluation in spatial and housing planning.

Abstract

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) have become essential tools in supporting regional and urban planning. This study compares two approaches to GIS utilization: technical-based village road management in Kapuas Hulu and the application of GIS for urban spatial planning. The first study employs Google Maps API to provide village road data, enhancing operational efficiency in the inventory and maintenance of local infrastructure. The second study leverages high-resolution spatial data from remote sensing to develop urban spatial plans that address disaster risk mitigation and infrastructure needs. The findings reveal that the technical approach is more cost-efficient and easier to implement at the local scale, while the strategic approach has broader impacts for long-term planning but requires significant investment. Differences in coverage, user involvement, and data complexity highlight the strengths and limitations of each approach. This study recommends integrating the two approaches to create a holistic GIS system. Technical GIS can support local data collection, while strategic GIS provides comprehensive analysis for large-scale decision-making. With this integration, regional and urban planning can become more efficient, inclusive, and sustainable

Abstract

Geographic Information Systems (GIS) play a significant role in regional and urban planning, facilitating the management of spatial data for better decision-making. This study compares two cases: the utilization of GIS in tourism development in Surat Thani Province and Bogor Regency, and the use of GIS for critical land inventory in North Kolaka Regency. The first study highlights the capability of GIS in supporting sustainable development through ecotourism, while the second study focuses on land criticality analysis using remote sensing data and GIS for land-use planning. The comparison results indicate that GIS can support strategic planning at various scales, with a flexible approach tailored to specific needs. This study recommends integrating GIS methods for more holistic regional and urban planning, combining strategic spatial analysis and local data to enhance data-driven decision-making.

Abstract

The flood issues in the Hamparan Perak area, Deli Serdang that happened every rainy season is a very anxious issue in the community. Education on Blue Open Space Management Planning to Overcome Flood Disasters in the Klambir V Kebun Village Area, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang needs to be carried out routinely so that the community understands the management of blue open spaces, their benefits and how to implement them. The main objective of this activity is to provide education to residents so that they can prevent flooding. Participants in this education are the community in Klambir V Kebun Village, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang. The activity begins with an introduction to the location conditions and an explanation of the benefits of blue open spaces. The methods used are presentations and discussions.

Abstract

Sistem pemanenan air hujan (selanjutnya disebut RWH) merupakan teknologi yang berfokus pada keberlanjutan dan mendukung pembangunan lingkungan yang berkelanjutan. Manfaat dari sistem RPH salah satunya adalah menyediakan ketersediaan air bersih. Penelitian ini menganalisis manfaat penerapan sistem RWH untuk masyrakat Desa Klambir V Kebun Kecamatan Hamparan Perak. Manfaat finansial penerapan sistem RPH dihitung berdasarkan air hujan yang dapat digunakan untuk menggantikan kebutuhan air bersih. Penelitian ini menggunakan sistem RWH sederhana yang menggunakan atap sebagai daerah tangkapan air, jaringan pipa sebagai sistem distribusi, dan tangki sebagai sistem penyimpanan. Pemanfaatan air tersebut untuk keperluan air minum dan tidak minum bagi rumah tangga dengan penghuni sampai dengan empat orang di Desa Klambir V Kebun. Luas daerah tangkapan air diambil hingga 70 m2. Biaya yang diambil dalam sistem RWH meliputi biaya konstruksi, instalasi, pemeliharaan, dan operasional. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penerapan sistem RWH memberikan keuntungan dibandingkan penggunaan sistem konvensional.
