Abstract

Abstract

This research explores the causality model between trading volume, bid-ask spread, and stock return volatility in the business index-27. Utilizing historical data, Granger causality analysis is employed to determine the direction and strength of the relationships between these variables. The findings reveal significant causal relationships among trading volume, bid-ask spread, and stock return volatility. These findings offer valuable insights into understanding stock market dynamics and their implications for investment decision-making. Moreover,This article contains an analysis of the relationship between stock trading variables within the scope of two main hypothesis namely the mixture of distribution hypothesis (MDH) and the sequential information arrival hypothesis (SIAH). The calculation results identify that for most stocks there is a one way Granger causality relationship between trading volume and return volatility, which is not sufficient evidence to support the MDH theory.

Abstract

Information systems have become an urgent need for society, including Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) who are online or e-commerce traders. One e-commerce that makes things easy for MSMEs is the presence of the ULA (Lucky Current and Safe) application which is managed by PT Jembatan Akar Teknologi. The ULA application is a multi-category B2B e-commerce marketplace that combines technology, capabilities and modern retail equipment for MSMEs. In this research, researchers used the UTAUT method to determine the response and perspective of user success and satisfaction with a system when applied to users of the ULA application which is aimed at MSMEs in Jombang City. The type of approach in this research is quantitative by distributing questionnaires online and offline to 80 respondents which are processed with SPSS16 software. Based on data processing, the results showed that the level of user satisfaction with the ULA application in Jombang had been achieved only on the Facilitating Conditions variable, but had not yet been achieved on the Performance Expectancy, Performance Expectancy and Social Influence variables. The level of user satisfaction in the Facilitating Conditions factor meets the indicators of the convenience of a condition that makes things easier for users and is in accordance with the needs of ULA application users in Jombang. Hypothesis testing shows that each UTAUT variable can influence user satisfaction with the ULA application. Abstract

Manual legalization of academic documents often leads to various issues such as long queues, slow processing times, and a lack of transparency in application status, especially for alumni who live far from campus. This makes it even more difficult for alumni due to transportation and accomodation issues. This study aims to design and develop an online legalization service system integrated with a payment gateway and delivery services to facilitate the legalization process for alumni. The system is developed using the Laravel framework and MySQL database, and integrates digital payment services via Midtrans and document delivery through Biteship as logistic aggregators. The result of this research is a web-based online legalization service system that allows alumni to submit legalization requests, make online payments, and choose document delivery options to their destination address. System testing shows that all features run well and can improve efficiency and user convenience in managing document legalization. Thus, this system can be a digital solution that supports faster, more transparent, and accessible academic administrative services.
