Abstract

The background of this research is that the researcher wants to know the Structure of the Movement of the Jaranan Arts Dance in the Kridho Budoyo Studio, Jaya Bakti Village, Mesuji District, Ogan Komerin Ilir Regency. Mesuji District, Ogan Komering Ilir District. The purpose of this study was to find out how to describe the structure of the movements of the Jaranan Arts Dance at the Kridho Budoyo Studio, Jaya Bakti Village, Mesuji District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The collection of research data is in the form of observations, interviews, and documentation from the head of the studio, dancers, and musicians. The structure of the movements of the Jaranan Art Dance at the Kridho Budoyo Studio, Jaya Bakti Village, Mesuji District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, there are 6 types of movements, namely Budalan Movement, Rete-reto Sabetan, Regular Sabetan, Ngecek, Worship, and Bambangan. Based on the research results that have been obtained that the Jaranan kridho budoyo dance has an initial, middle and final movement structure

Abstract

This research aims to find out the character values of students through extracurricular dance activities at MTS Negeri 2 Lahat. The benefits of this research are theoretically, practically, for students and for the school. This research method uses a qualitative method, namely describing the character values of the students themselves. The data source for this research was obtained from trainers and MTS Negeri 2 Lahat students who took part in extracurricular activities, numbering approximately 18 people. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that the character values of students who take part in dance extracurricular activities are quite good, which can be seen from the results of the evaluation of activities in the dance extracurricular learning process at MTS Negeri 2 Lahat.

Abstract

Tepak dance is one of the traditional arts originating from the South Sumatra region, especially the city of Palembang, which is one of the artistic treasures in the city of Palembang. This dance is a traditional South Sumatran dance created by Mrs. Sukaina Rojak and Mrs. Tina Hajigong in 1945. The origin of the formation of this tepak dance is taken from the Tanggai Dance movement and also the Gending Sriwijaya Dance, in terms of the movement it is the same but in terms of the lyrics of the song it is different, as time goes by the Tepak Dance undergoes changes or reforms, namely in terms of different floor patterns. The Tanggai dance does not stand up, while the Tepak dance has a standing movement, namely when the Stupa and Borobudur are doing the movement, they stand up and form a straight line. The purpose of this study is to find out and describe efforts to preserve the Tepak Dance in the city of Palembang. The method used in this research is Qualitative Description, with the object of this research is Tepak Dance and the informant in this study is Aunt Lina Muchtar, data collection was carried out by researchers through observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the findings of this study, Palembang residents know about Tepak Dance and its business or existence. Because, until now the Tepak Dance is still often performed at various events since today. Artists and studios have participated in the development of the Tepak dance, including the Sang Putri Palembang studio, and have contributed to the continued existence of the Tepak dance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah suatu kajian tekstual tentang Teater Legenda Bukit Pendape pada Tim Kesenian Kabupaten Musi Banyuasin. Adapun masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana Bentuk Penyajian Teater Legenda Bukit Pendape Oleh Tim Kesenian Kabupaten Musi Banyuasi di Festival Sriwijaya Palembang 2021, sedangkan tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan Bagaimana Bentuk Penyajian Teater Legenda Bukit Pendape Oleh Tim Kesenian Kabupaten Musi Banyuasi di Festival Sriwijaya Palembang 2021. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data Observasi, Wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan penelitian didapatkan hasil Bentuk Penyajian Teater Legenda Bukit Pendape yaitu meliputi : persiapan, latihan olah tubuh, olah vokal, pernapasan serta pendukung pertunjukan yang terdiri dari Tata Rias, Tata Busana, Tata Suara, Tata Cahaya, Properti, dan Tata Panggung. Kata Kunci: Bentuk Penyajian; Teater Tradisional; Legenda Bukit Pendape.
