Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of health education with illustrated quiz media on first aid knowledge in vocational high school students. Methods: This study uses a type of quantitative research using a Pre-experimental design with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design approach. Pre-experimental design with One-Group Pretest-Posttest design approach.  Results: This study used a sample of 75 respondents in grade 11. Method of collecting burn first aid knowledge data was collected by picture quiz. Based on wilcoxon test, statistically significant increase in knowledge of P-value = 0.00 <0,05. The mean pre-test was 6.29 and post-test was 9.00. Conclusion: There is an effect of health education with illustrated quiz media on the knowledge of first aid for burns in vocational high school students.

Abstract

Background : In patients with hypertension, family support plays a very important role in maintaining and controlling so that blood pressure does not increase and is expected to return to normal. In addition, blood pressure measurements can also be carried out by families who have learned from health workers. Hypertensive patients who do not receive family support can make it difficult for patients to always maintain good hypertension care. Objective : To find out the relationship of family support to the motivation of hypertensive patients to make repeat visits at the Internal Medicine Polyclinic, Astrini Hospital, Wonogiri. Methods : This research uses quantitative research with the research design used in this research is correlation analytic research. Results : The majority family support was sufficient, with a score range of 50 -75 as many as 26 people or 57%, the motivation of control patients to the majority hospital was sufficient, namely 59%, and the relationship significance value (p-value) was 0.042 at the alpha error level ( n)=5%. Conclusion : There is a relationship between family support and patient motivation to revisit the hospital.

Abstract

Background: Under-skin contraceptives (AKBK) are effective and efficient hormonal contraceptives in the form of rods implanted under the skin, namely the upper arm and the protection period can reach five years. Education level and parity are factors that affect the selection of under-skin contraceptives. The level of education is one of the factors that greatly determines a person's knowledge and awareness of the importance of something, including the importance of participating in effective family planning such as under-skin contraceptives. High parity in couples of childbearing age has a tendency to use under-skin contraceptives. Research objectives: This study aims to find out whether there is a relationship between education level and parity with the selection of under-skin contraceptives in couples of childbearing age in Sukabumi village. Methods: This study was conducted using the Cross Sectional method with a population of couples of childbearing age who used contraceptives in Sukabumi Village totaling 627 people as of 2023 with a sample of 86 people through purposive sampling. The analysis test uses the Chi-Square statistical test with a confidence degree of 95% (? < 0.05). Results: From the results of the Chi - Square test , the education level of p-value 0.009 < 0.05 and the parity of p-value 0.000 < 0.05 were obtained. Conclusion: There is a relationship between education level and parity with the selection of under-skin contraceptives in couples of childbearing age in Sukabumi village.
