Abstract

Numeracy is a measuring skill in mathematics that involves reasoning skills so that it is necessary for daily life. To remind numeracy skills, you can use a method, namely by applying learning media. This research aims to improve the mathematical numeracy skills of grade 1 students of SDN Gemah Semarang City. This type of research uses quantitative research with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The operation of this study is all IA classes of SDN Gemah with a sampling technique using a nonprobability sampling technique with incidental sampling. The data used for evaluation is in the form of multiple-choice questions. Data analysis used normality test and paired sample t-test. The results of this study showed that the mathematical numeracy skills of grade 1 students could improve after being treated using Kantong Doraemon media. The results of the paired t-test, which is the average pretest of 69.67 and the average posttest of 83.00, the results of the analysis of the paired t-test with a significant correlation value of 0.01<0.05 can be stated that Ha is accepted. This shows that learning using Doraemon pocket media can improve students' numeracy skills. Based on the results of this study. It is recommended that teachers can apply various learning media to make students more active so that they can improve.

Abstract

The dynamics of the development of national education in the Republic of Indonesia always experiences policy changes. Indonesia has at least experienced more than ten changes in curriculum development since the beginning of independence The National Assessment as a substitute for the National Exam has the aim of producing information about students, then the student information is used by educators to improve the quality of teaching and learning activities. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data using interviews, observation and documentation. The primary data source was interviews with teacher informants and the secondary sources were observation and documentation. Based on the results of the study, namely: 6 (six) of the teachers at SDN Gemah, 4 (four teachers) were ready to face AKM. This can be seen from: Knowledge about AKM, Ability to identify AKM questions, teacher's understanding of the IKM concept; Activeness in education and training, making strategies and learning methods for the independent curriculum and supporting learning media, implementing AKM materials for students. Meanwhile, 2 (two) teachers were not ready to face AKM. This can be seen from: Lack of knowledge about AKM, Lack of ability to identify AKM questions, Lack of teacher understanding of the AKM concept; There is no initiative to take part in AKM training and training, less able to make independent curriculum learning strategies and methods, lack of mastery of using IT, unable to make learning media for independent curriculum and unable to implement AKM material to students.

Abstract

Keterampilan literasi membaca harus terus dikembangkan agar memiliki kemampuan menangkap dan memproses informasi dengan baik. Di lingkungan sekolah kemampuan ini dikembangkan dengan program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) yang terintegrasi dengan program Gerakan Literasi Nasional (GLN) oleh Kemendikbud. Setiap sekolah diberikan kebebasan untuk merancang program kegiatan GLS sebagai upaya memberdayakan keterampilan literasi membaca siswa. Tujuan penetilian ini untuk mengetahui penyelenggaraan dan pencapaian program pengembangan keterampilan literasi membaca di SDN Gemah dalam mendukung keberhasilan GLN. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Adapun informan yang terlibat meliputi kepala sekolah, guru kelas tinggi, dan siswa kelas V tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program kegiatan dalam GLS di SDN Gemah dilakukan dengan tahap pembiasaan melalui kegiatan kamis literasi dan penyediaan perpustakaan serta sudut baca di tiap kelas, tahap pengembangan melalui workshop literasi bagi guru dan talkshow interaktif dalam festival literasi numerasi bagi siswa, dan tahap pembelajaran dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan literasi membaca dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, serta menyusun soal evaluasi HOTS sesuai tipe soal AKM. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa program tersebut berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan literasi membaca sebesar 96,67%. Implementasi GLS yang efektif di SDN Gemah memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap GLN di Indonesia.

Abstract

Low reading literacy begins with a lack of interest in reading. This study aims to examine and provide an understanding of the effect of using the Kahoot educational game on the literacy skills of 5th-grade students at SD Negeri Gemah. This type of research is quantitative, using a pre-experimental method and a one-group pretest post-test design. The study was conducted at SD Negeri Gemah with a population of all 5th-grade students with a total of 25 students consisting of 15 males and 10 females using saturated sampling techniques. The primary data sources were evaluation questions, interviews, and documentation. Through the results of data analysis which began with data processing, normality prerequisite tests, and then the T-test with the Paired Sample T-Test, it was concluded that there was an effect of using the Kahoot educational game on the reading literacy skills of the Indonesian Language subject for 5th grade at SD Negeri Gemah. The results of the T-test showed that the Sig. (2-tailed) value was 0.000 which was more than 0.05 and there was an increase in each reading literacy indicator so that the average increased by 11.5. In addition, from the simple linear regression test, the calculated F value is 6.745 with a significance level of 0.016 <0.05 and a Constant (a) value of 57.966 and a pretest result of 0.424. So it can be concluded that the use of the Kahoot educational game has a positive influence on students' reading literacy skills in the Indonesian language subject of grade 5 of SD Negeri Gemah. ABSTRAKRendahnya literasi membaca diawali dengan kurang minatnya dalam membaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan memberikan pembahaman tentang pengaruh penggunaan game edukasi Kahoot terhadap kemampuan literasi siswa kelas 5 di SD Negeri Gemah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode dalam bentuk pre experimental dan desain one group pretest posttest design. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri Gemah dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas 5 dengan jumlah 25 siswa yang terdiri dari 15 laki-laki dan 10 perempuan dengan menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Sumber data yang diperoleh merupakan data primer yang diperoleh dari soal evaluasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Melalui hasil analisis data yang di awali dengan pengolahan data, uji prasyarat normalitas, dan kemudian uji T dengan uji Paired Sample T-Test yang diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan game edukasi kahoot terhadap kemampuan literasi membaca mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas 5 di SD Negeri Gemah. Hasil uji T menunjukkan bahwa nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 dimana lebih dari 0,05 dan terdapat peningkatan masing-masing indikator literasi membaca sehingga rata-ratanya meningkat sebesar 11,5. Selain itu, dari uji regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan nilai F hitung adalah 6,745 dengan tingkat signifikansi sebesar 0,016 < 0,05 serta nilai Constant (a) sebesar 57,966 dan hasil pretest sebesar 0,424. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan game edukasi Kahoot memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan literasi membaca siswa pada mata pelajaran bahasa indonesia kelas 5 SD Negeri Gemah.
