Abstract

One of the problems in the world industry is the water level control system. Water level control is carried out at the holding tank, which is a common problem when the water level in the holding tank is not known, and lack of monitoring of the holding tank can lead to storage space or tank emptying. This study aims to control the water level system so that it reaches the set water level level point. The methodology used is by utilizing the fluid system that enters the tank and can vary the speed of the water pump with a DC motor, this research is simulated using the MATLAB application. 4 types of control have been carried out, namely P, PI, PD, and PID controllers, this is to find out which controller is best applied to a water level control system. In this study, the PID controller has the best results because it has a fast rise time, no overshoot, settling time and small steady-state error. Using PID control, it is possible to maintain water level levels to achieve the required efficiency and productivity.

Abstract

The understanding of the ju'alah contract in Islam has been a focal point of debate and analysis in fiqh literature. Ju'alah, as a form of promise to provide compensation for tasks or work performed, holds significant implications in Sharia finance practices, including Bank Wakaf Mikro. From the perspective of scholars, there are various views regarding the legal principles and implications of the ju'alah contract, often reflecting differences among schools of thought. This diversity of opinions raises questions regarding the pillars, conditions, and legal implications of ju'alah transactions. The objective of this study is to delve deeper into scholars' comprehension of the ju'alah contract, its distinctions from the ijarah contract, and its application in Bank Wakaf Mikro in Indonesia. In this study, a qualitative approach is utilized, employing a descriptive-analytical method, where data is obtained through library research methods. The research findings indicate that the arguments presented by the Maliki and Syafi'i scholars regarding ju'alah appear to be stronger due to being grounded on more solid reasoning, both in terms of evidence and societal needs. Furthermore, in analyzing the practices of Bank Wakaf Mikro, conformity with the principles of the ju'alah contract is found, both in terms of its pillars and conditions. Among the various scholars' opinions on the ju'alah contract, it is evident that the Syafi'i scholars' views are more aligned with the practices carried out by Bank Wakaf Mikro support programs.

Abstract

This paper presents the design and performance testing of the Enhanced Informed Probabilistic Roadmap (EI-PRM) algorithm in path planning in various environments, such as simple environments, dense environments and narrow paths. This research evaluates the effectiveness of the algorithm in terms of solution cost and computation time by testing different parameter configurations, including number of sample points (nsample) and cost scaling factor (). The results show that the EI-PRM algorithm can adjust the sampling strategy based on the available information, resulting in an optimal solution with high efficiency. During the test, in a simple environment with the parameter value of nsample between 200 and 400 and parameter value between 1.2 and 1.4, the best solution cost is 344.93 and the computation time is 1.9 seconds. However, in a denser environment, the optimal solution cost reaches 141,586 with a computation time of 1.16 seconds, a parameter value of nsample 200, and a parameter value of 1.5. Furthermore, the algorithm shows good performance on narrow paths with an optimal solution cost of about 293.39 and the best computation time of 0.38 seconds at a parameter value of nsample 400 parameter 1.3. This research focuses on the importance of parameter optimization and efficient sampling strategies to improve path quality and speed up computation time. In general, the results indicate that the EI-PRM algorithm is effective for path planning under various environmental conditions. The process of the EI-PRM algorithm consists of several steps. First, sample points are created at random. In the second step, the computer will link the example locations to produce a roadmap. In the last step, the shortest path inside an ellipsoid-bounded search area will be determined. The size of the ellipsoid will increase gradually until the best path solution is found. This research is expected to contribute significantly to the development of path planning algorithms that are more efficient, faster and capable of producing high-quality paths in complex environments. This research has the potential to improve applications in transportation and logistics that require optimal path planning in order to reduce operational costs and improve safety.

Abstract

The rapid development of the Islamic economy in Indonesia has given rise to various legal disputes that require special attention, particularly those related to the execution of mortgage rights in Islamic banking. These disputes are often complex, involving considerations of both Sharia principles and prevailing positive law. This research aims to analyze Decision No. 456/Pdt.G/2018/PA.Gtlo along with its related appeal and cassation decisions, to understand the dynamics and implications of such disputes. A case study approach is employed in this normative legal research methodology, with primary data in the form of court decisions were qualitatively analyzed. The research findings reveal a consistent pattern in court decisions, across the first instance, appeal, and cassation levels, rejecting the lawsuit for the annulment of mortgage execution. This rejection is based on several reasons, including formal defects in the filing of the lawsuit, the prohibition of retrying a case (ne bis in idem), and limitations on the scope of cassation review. These findings emphasize the importance of a deep understanding of the legal procedures applicable to disputes in Islamic economics, especially in the context of mortgage execution. Misunderstanding or negligence in fulfilling legal procedures can have serious consequences, such as the rejection of a lawsuit and losses for the disputing parties. Furthermore, this research highlights the importance of carefulness in filing lawsuits, particularly concerning formal and substantive aspects, to avoid unnecessary retrials.

Abstract

Productive waqf management in Indonesia faces challenges in innovation and optimizing the use of funds. Cash Waqf Linked Sukuk (CWLS), an innovative sharia financial instrument that integrates cash waqf with sukuk, appears as a potential solution. CWLS allows people to contribute through cash waqf which is then invested in sukuk, with the investment proceeds used for social projects such as infrastructure, health and education. This research aims to analyze the concepts, mechanisms and contracts implemented in CWLS, as well as evaluate their contribution to productive waqf management and their social impact in Indonesia. Using the literature study method, this research examines various primary and secondary data sources. The research results show that CWLS not only increases the productive use of waqf funds, but also provides a significant social impact through financing social and infrastructure projects. CWLS has proven to be an efficient solution in managing waqf and opens up new opportunities for economic empowerment of the people. However, challenges such as limited public understanding, the need for qualified human resources, and lack of digital access need to be addressed. This research concludes that CWLS has great potential to strengthen the waqf ecosystem and support sharia financial inclusion in Indonesia, with the right support from the government, sharia financial institutions and the community. Increased education and outreach efforts are needed to overcome these barriers and maximize the benefits of CWLS.
