Abstract

Contemporary fiqh is a branch of jurisprudence designed to answer the challenges and problems of Islamic law in the context of the modern era. By paying attention to developments in science, technology and existing social dynamics, contemporary jurisprudence seeks to provide legal solutions that are relevant and applicable in various sectors of life. This research aims to export contemporary applications of fiqh and its relevance in modern society. With a responsive and flexible approach, contemporary fiqh is able to adapt to changing times without ignoring the basic principles of Islam. The findings of this research show that contemporary fiqh not only offers solutions to social problems such as contemporary issues in Islamic education but contemporary fiqh answers challenges and opportunities in its development.

Abstract

Character education is a crucial aspect in shaping ethical and responsible individuals in society. In today's digital era, the challenges in instilling character education have become increasingly complex. Technological advancements have transformed the educational landscape, introducing new challenges that influence the way we learn and interact with the world. This article discusses efforts in instilling character education among students in the digital era, covering the concept of character education, challenges of the digital age, and strategies for its implementation. The strategies discussed include moral knowing, moral loving, and moral acting strateg ies. Additionally, it explores strategies for educators in the digital era, such as providing comprehensive character education introduction, teacher role modeling, limiting students' excessive indulgence, fostering positive relationships with students, employing teaching methods tailored to students' needs, and monitoring students' surrounding environment. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis technique.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam memiliki peran yang sangat penting di dalam pembentukan akhlak siswa, terutama jika hal ini diterapkan di tingkat sekolah menengah. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis pembentukan karakter dan akhlak siswa melalui pendidikan Islam di dalam konteks formal. Metode library research digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data dikumpulkan melalui kajian buku juga literatur serta artikel beserta jurnal yang relevan pada tema penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai agama yang diajarkan pendidikan Islam tidak hanya membentuk sikap serta perilaku positif siswa, namun juga kejujuran, disiplin, dan rasa tanggung jawab. Guru berperan selaku teladan, serta hal ini sangatlah berpengaruh di dalam pembentukan akhlak siswa. Lingkungan sekolah yang mendukung juga berperan penting dalam proses tersebut. Penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa pengintegrasian nilai-nilai Islam ke dalam kurikulum dan aktivitas sehari-hari di sekolah menengah terbukti sangat efektif dalam membentuk akhlak siswa. Oleh karena itu, hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi pedoman untuk pengembangan program pendidikan yang lebih baik di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Radikalisme di kalangan anak muda merupakan isu yang semakin memprihatinkan di berbagai belahan dunia, termasuk di Indonesia. Dalam menghadapi tantangan ini, pendidikan Islam memiliki peran yang sangat penting. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pentingnya pendidikan Islam dalam menanggulangi radikalisme di kalangan anak muda. Analisis dilakukan melalui metode studi kepustakaan (library research), jurnal ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam memegang peran kunci dalam memberikan pemahaman yang benar tentang ajaran Islam, membentuk identitas Islami yang kuat, dan mengajarkan nilai-nilai moderat serta toleransi. Pendidikan Islam juga membantu dalam mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, memperkuat ketahanan terhadap propaganda radikal, dan mengarahkan partisipasi positif dalam masyarakat. Namun, untuk mencapai efektivitas penuh, pendidikan Islam harus didukung oleh kerjasama antara berbagai pihak, termasuk pemerintah, lembaga pendidikan, keluarga, dan masyarakat sipil. Kesimpulannya, pendidikan Islam bukan hanya sarana untuk memahami agama, tetapi juga sebagai benteng utama dalam memerangi radikalisme di kalangan anak muda. Dengan memperkuat peran pendidikan Islam, kita dapat menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung perkembangan positif anak muda, mengarahkan mereka menuju masa depan yang penuh harapan, dan membangun masyarakat yang damai dan harmonis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji perbandingan pendidikan Islam di sekolah umum antara Indonesia dan Mesir, dengan penekanan pada kurikulum, sistem pendidikan, serta peran lembaga pendidikan di kedua negara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perbedaan pendekatan pendidikan Islam di lembaga pendidikan umum antara Indonesia dan Mesir, dua negara dengan komunitas Muslim terbesar secara global. Di Indonesia, pendidikan Islam dimasukkan ke dalam sistem kurikulum nasional dan menekankan pada penguatan moral serta etika yang sejalan dengan prinsip-prinsip ajaran Islam. Sekolah umum di Indonesia sering kali menerapkan pendekatan yang lebih fleksibel, yang memungkinkan variasi dalam pengajaran pendidikan Islam, tergantung pada konteks budaya dan komunitas setempat. Di sisi lain, Mesir memiliki sistem pendidikan yang lebih terstruktur, di mana pendidikan Islam diajarkan sebagai mata pelajaran wajib di semua jenjang pendidikan. Kurikulum di Mesir cenderung lebih konservatif dan menekankan penguasaan teks-teks klasik Islam, yang dapat menghambat kreativitas dan pemikiran kritis siswa. Dengan membandingkan kedua sistem pendidikan ini, diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam tentang bagaimana pendidikan Islam dapat dioptimalkan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan generasi muda di era globalisasi.

Abstract

Character education is a crucial aspect in shaping ethical, responsible, and socially aware individuals within society. In today’s digital era, the process of instilling character education has become increasingly complex due to rapid technological advancements that significantly influence students’ behavior, learning patterns, and social interactions. Digital technology has transformed the educational landscape by providing easier access to information and new learning opportunities, but it has also introduced challenges such as excessive use of social media, exposure to negative or inappropriate content, declining interpersonal communication, and shifts in moral values among students.This article discusses various efforts to strengthen character education among students in the digital era. The discussion covers the fundamental concept of character education as an essential component of holistic education, the challenges posed by the digital age, and effective strategies for character development. The strategies emphasized include moral knowing, which focuses on providing students with an understanding of moral values; moral loving, which aims to develop emotional attachment and care toward those values; and moral acting, which encourages the consistent practice of character values in daily life.In addition, this article explores the role of educators in implementing character education through exemplary behavior, limiting students’ excessive indulgence in digital activities, fostering positive teacher–student relationships, applying learning methods suited to students’ needs, and monitoring students’ social and digital environments. The analysis employs a descriptive analysis technique to provide a comprehensive understanding of character education implementation in the digital era
