Abstract

This Community Service is carried out by Lecturer of English Tadris Study Program STAIN Madina and Sharia Economics Lecturer Stain Madina with the method of Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). The implementation of Community Service is supported by various parties, in this case the Head of Kayulaut Village and Naposo Nauli Bulung of Kayulaut Village. And the Kayulaut Bika Bakar Cake MSME Community One of the reasons for choosing this village is because Kayulaut Village has the potential for a prosperous life through traditional bika bakar cake cooking skills by its residents, but it is known that in recent years the sales turnover of Bika Bakar Cake producers has decreased drastically due to several things, including packaging that still uses plastic bags and limited marketing access. Partner products cannot compete with modern pastry products made by already large businesses because there is not enough promotion. Partners still use simple tools – causing fatigue because they are continuously around the fire stove, so that the production of bika bakar produced is not optimal in quantity or quality.so that Kue Bika Bakar Kayulaut no longer meets trade turnover like a few years ago. The stages of Community Service carried out are divided into three stages, namely; Socialization of Program Activities, Implementation and Evaluation. Community Service Lasted from 08.00 WIB until it was completed for three days starting from the preparation of the activity, attended by 70 participants. The subject matter conveyed Through this activity; Logo / branding, packaging, and e-commerce. With the Community Service activities, the economic empowerment of the Kayulaut village community through MSMEs of the typical Bika bakar kayulaut cake community with a culinary fashion strategy is expected to increase the production turnover of Kayulaut Bika Bakar Cake so that the people of Kayulaut Village are more prosperous as MSME actors of Kayulaut Cake.

Abstract

The large number of internet users, especially in Indonesia, provides a great opportunity for business people to create online shopping. This research aims to determine the influence of experiential marketing, trust, convenience, and digital marketing on purchasing decisions on the Shopee application. The population in this study are customers who use Shopee at Labuhanbatu University. The data source used is primary data. Data collection was carried out through distributing questionnaires with a sample size of 150 respondents. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis technique using the SmartPLS tool. The research results show that experiential marketing, trust, convenience, and digital marketing simultaneously and partially have a significant influence on the purchasing decisions of Shopee users in Labuhanbatu. From this research, the most dominant variable is convenience at 0.495 or 49.5%. The R2 test results prove that the model is able to explain the dependent variable studied, namely the purchasing decision variable of 0.746 or 74.6%.

Abstract

Pendidikan MDA umumnya berfokus penguatan ilmu agama dan pembentukan akhlak mulia. Namun, menghadapi tantangan zaman yang semakin kompleks, diperlukan integrasi pendidikan agama dan pengembangan keterampilan hidup, termasuk jiwa kewirausahaan. PKM dilaksanakan di MDA Padang Laru, Mandailing Natal yang diawali dengan berkoordinasi bersama guru untuk menggali informasi kebutuhan dan karakteristik peserta didik. Selanjutnya pemaparan materi yang bertujuan agar memahami konsep pembuatan buket snack sebagai potensi kewirausahaan. Model kegiatan yang dikembangkan dengan kolaboratif melalui peran tutor sebaya. Sesi refleksi dan evaluasi serta memberikan apresiasi khusus kepada kelompok dengan kreativitas terbaik. Berdasarkan hasil kegiatan terdapat temuan penting yang menunjukkan keberhasilan yaitu : 1) Peningkatan Antusiasme dan Partisipasi Aktif. 2) Kemampuan Praktis dalam Pembuatan Produk. 3) Tumbuhnya Kreativitas dan Inisiatif 4) Penerapan Konsep Tutor Sebaya 5) Refleksi dan Evaluasi Positif 6) Peningkatan Pemahaman tentang Kewirausahaan. Kegiatan berhasil memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kreativitas dan jiwa kewirausahaan peserta didik. pelatihan ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi antara ilmu agama dan keterampilan hidup sangat mungkin dilakukan secara harmonis. Peserta didik menunjukkan antusiasme dan partisipasi aktif yang tinggi, menguasai keterampilan praktis dalam pembuatan buket snack, menampilkan kreativitas dalam desain produk, serta menunjukkan inisiatif dan semangat kerja sama melalui metode tutor sebaya.

Abstract

This research explores the role of the kipang home industry in improving household income and promoting community empowerment in Panyabungan District, Mandailing Natal Regency. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study involved five kipang entrepreneurs as primary respondents. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and thematic analysis was conducted to derive key insights. The findings reveal that the kipang home industry significantly contributes to increasing household income, creating informal employment, and strengthening social solidarity within the community. Most of the business actors are women, indicating the potential for women's economic empowerment. Furthermore, this industry plays a role in preserving local culinary traditions while supporting the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). However, challenges such as limited access to capital, market reach, and business management skills remain. The study suggests the need for training, legal business registration, and digital transformation to enhance sustainability and competitiveness. Ultimately, the kipang home industry serves not only as an alternative economic source but also as a catalyst for inclusive and sustainable local development.

Abstract

Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA) are plants with positive pharmacological effects on the human body and are usually planted on a home or communal scale. These medicinal plants can then be used as traditional medicines that can be made easily. The plants chosen are usually plants that can be used to treat simple health problems such as flu and cough. In this community service activity, two activities are carried out separately, namely socialization and planting of medicinal plants with residents. Socialization is carried out to provide information to residents of Wadas Village regarding medicinal plants so that the medicinal plants can be useful after being planted. Planting is carried out to also increase awareness regarding land use, in addition to being a starting point for residents in cultivating medicinal plants. Planting is carried out on the village hall land so that residents can easily maintain, care for, and utilize the medicinal plants.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of Islamic business ethics in increasing consumer buying interest in the RY store. Lubis Aek Galoga Panyabungan, Mandailing Natal. The problem in this study is the sales turnover at the RY store. Lubis, which has experienced a significant decline. Especially since 2018 to 2022, it has shown a continuous decline. This decline in sales turnover identifies a decline in consumer buying interest in making purchases at the RY store. The research location is at the RY store. Lubis Aek Galoga Panyabungan. The method used is quantitative with a statistical method, taking samples with a sampling technique, namely non-probability sampling. The research sample amounted to 87 respondents. The variables used are justice, honesty, and ihsan/generosity. This study uses primary data using quantitative analysis. The results of the study show that the honesty variable has a positive and significant effect with a value of 2,904 on consumer buying interest. Justice has a positive and significant effect with a value of 3,788 on consumer buying interest. The ihsan/generosity variable has an effect and is significant with a value of 11,887. simultaneously that Fcount 177.496 > 2.71 F table, then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Therefore, it is stated that the independent variables covering justice, honesty, and ihsan/generosity simultaneously influence the consumer buying interest variable significantly.

Abstract

Lubuk Larangan is currently used as one of the tourist destinations that has great potential and many visitors consider it as a tourist spot as well as a fish farming location. By promoting tourism through various methods and media, the potential of this tourist destination can be developed more widely, in order to build the image and appeal of the tourist attraction. The use of social media as a means of tourism promotion is very effective in reaching more tourists. This community service activity aimed to introduce Lubuk Larangan through socialization to the community, especially members of the Karang Taruna of Tambangan Jae Village and was carried out in Lubuk Larangan. The method of implementing this community service activity is through socialization and direct discussion with Karang Taruna. The results of this activity showed that members of the Karang Taruna of Tambangan Jae Village gain an understanding of the importance of using social media as a means of promotion to introduce tourist attractions to make it better known and attract more visitors. Furthermore, participants are taught to create interesting content, such as photos and videos, which can be shared through various social media used.
