Abstract

Lanjut usia (lansia) merupakan kelompok masyarakat yang berusia 60-69 tahun. Sedangkan kelompok usia 45- 59 tahun disebut Pra-lansia. Edukasi mengenai kualitas hidup lansia sangat penting diberikan sejak kelompok umur Pra-lansia. Agar setelah memasuki usia lansia kualitas hidup dapat terjaga. Saat usia lansia terjadi penurunan fisiologis tubuh dan peningkatan risiko masalah kesehatan, seperti hipertensi, kencing manis, asam urat, obesitas, dan lain-lain. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan edukasi dan melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan bagi lansia di Kelurahan Maliaro Kota Ternate. Peserta pengabdian kepada masyarakat berlokasi di Kelurahan Maliaro Kota Ternate. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan oleh organisasi Salimah (Persaudaraan Muslimah) PD Kota Ternate bekerjasama dengan Prokami Wilayah Malut. Bentuk kegiatan pengabdian berupa senam sehat lansia, edukasi gizi lansia dan dilanjutkan dengan pemeriksaan kesehatan. Hasil pemeriksaan peserta menunjukkan gula darah umumnya normal (90-130 mg/dL) sebanyak 71,5% sedangkan hasil pemeriksaan tensi darah menunjukkan prahipertensi (systole : 120-139 mmHg, diastole 80-89 mmHg) sebanyak 57,1%. Dari hasil pemeriksaan tersebut perlu adanya perhatian peserta pengabdian untuk memperhatikan pola hidup dan asupan makanan sehat agar tekanan darah dapat kembali normal.

Abstract

The problem of clean water with high iron content significantly impacts the quality of life of people in Indonesia, including in Mangasa Village, Tamalate District, Makassar. Residents face reddish wells, tap water, and a metallic odor caused by geological factors or old and rusty pipes, which pollute water sources and endanger health. As a solution, Community Service activities by the Geological Engineering Department of Hasanuddin University socialize the use of limestone to reduce iron levels in water. This socialization results from a collaboration between the Community Service team and the capstone design team of geological engineering students at Hasanuddin University in designing clean water filters. The activity began with delivering educational materials regarding water quality problems and the benefits of limestone, accompanied by easy-to-understand visualizations. After a pre-test was conducted to measure initial understanding, the community service team presented and simulated limestone utilization, followed by an interactive question and answer session. Then, a post-test was conducted to evaluate the increase in participants' understanding, which was analyzed to measure the effectiveness of the socialization. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge of clean water quality, the impact of iron content, and the use of limestone as a filter, which was 72%. This increase reflects the high enthusiasm and motivation of the community in adopting clean water treatment methods.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PT. ANTAM Tbk UBPN Nikel Maluku Utara site Pulau Pakal dari stockyard sampai ke jetty dengan tujuan penelitian untuk menentukan produktivitas dari alat gali muat dan alat angkut dalam memenuhi target pengisian tongkang 10.500 ton. Metode penelitian yang digunakan berupa analisis kuantitatif. Berdasarkan pengolahan data lapangan pencapaian target alat gali muat dalam satu shift kerja 9 jam 45 menit  adalah 5.211,80 ton dengan cycle time satu kali putaran bucket 14,195 detik. Hasil perhitungan  produktivitas alat angkut dump truck Hino 500 dalam satu shift kerja adalah 6.705,15 ton dengan cycle time satu kali putaran dump truck adalah 908,31 detik. Pencapain target produksi pemuatan tongkang Long Towing dengan tonase 10.500 mencapai target dengan lama pemuatan 3 shift waktu kerja. Oleh karena itu, perusahan menuai keuntungan, sedangkan yang menjadi hambatan selama proses produksi berupa manajemen waktu. Karena target waktu pemuatan yang diberikan melibihi dari pada batas waktu pemuatan dengan waktu kerja yang sebenarnya cukup dicapai dalam 3 shift pemuatan tongkang dengan total kapasitas 10.500 ton.

Abstract

The availability of groundwater in the North Ternate District plays an important role in meeting domestic and industrial needs amidst the challenges of reduced water resources due to land conversion into built-up areas and reducing water catchment areas. This study aims to analyze the distribution pattern of groundwater levels to identify recharge and discharge areas and their application in water resource management in the region. The research method includes field surveys to collect data, including coordinate points, well topographic elevation data, well water depth, and well height, as well as mapping using Surfer software to produce spatial visualization of groundwater flow patterns. The results of the study showed that the highest groundwater level elevation ranged from 40-60 masl, which was concentrated in Soa-Sio Village and acted as a recharge zone, while the discharge zone has a low groundwater level elevation (<10 masl), which was concentrated in Sangaji and Dufa-dufa Villages, where excessive groundwater exploitation occurs and there was the potential for seawater intrusion. The results of this study are expected to provide information and a basis for policy regarding the importance of protecting catchment areas through sustainable land use management and controlling groundwater utilization to prevent depletion and decline in groundwater quality.
