Abstract

As time goes by, we cannot deny that technological developments cannot be avoided anymore. Technological developments clearly make it easier for humans to communicate and reach information with a wide range. The transition of mechanical and analog technology to digital technology is a sign that we are in the digital era, this technological change then causes changes in human culture. One example of these changes can be seen in the way people think and act in everyday life. However, in line with the development of media technology, new criminal acts have emerged. This crime occurs on social media, for that we are required to have good media literacy skills in order to avoid and prevent criminal acts that might occur. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the media literacy abilities of students who are members of the Immedia community as an effort to prevent crime. For data validity, interviews were conducted with students in the Immedia community. The results of this study indicate that the level of student media literacy is practically very good and continues to increase.

Abstract

By putting the correct marketing plan into practice, a firm can increase consumer trust in its brand and increase that brand's loyalty. In Medan, the use of Instagram for boba drink product marketing has the potential to capture a significant portion of the market, so beverage businesses will find it easier to establish a positive brand image with careful use and promotion. The purpose of this study is to identify and characterize Bobabox's use of Instagram social media for brand image building in marketing communications. This study, which was carried out at the production head office, Bobabox Jl. Setia Budi No. 157 in Medan City, employs descriptive qualitative research methodologies. It will be put into practice in April and May of 2024. The results of this study show that @bobabox.id uses five elements of marketing communication in building brand image including, advertising by using the Instagram ads feature, sales promotion by creating promotional content and collaboration, public relations providing the best service, direct marketing presenting linktree to facilitate consumers and personal selling through endorsements

Abstract

Abstract : This research aims to determine the meaning of the moral message in the film Jalan Yang Jauh, Jangan Lupa Pulang using Rholand Barthes' semiotic analysis. This research uses qualitative research. Qualitative is a type of approach to understand the phenomena experienced by research subjects (behavior, perception, action, etc.), by describing them in the form of words and language that are easy to understand. The qualitative approach does not use statistical analysis procedures or other methods of quantification. The type of data used in this research is divided into two types, namely primary data and secondary data. And in this film the meaning of denotation, connotation and myth is produced which contains a moral message.
