Abstract

The study aims to study and analyze the learning style of students of the eighth grade at SMPN 7 Muaro Jambi, especially in the context of IPA learning. The focus of the study is to identify preferences of student learning style based on three main dimensions, namely visual, auditory, and kinesthetics. This research method uses a descriptive quantitative approach by involving eighth grade students as primary respondents. Research instruments in the form of questionnaires are designed to measure the preferences of students' learning styles according to visual, auditory, and kinesthetic characteristics. The total number of samples observed came from 8 classes with a total of 226 students of the 8th grade. Based on the data processing of the research it is known that the learning style of students on the subject of IPA Class VIII generally in SMPN 7 Muaro Jambi in 2023. A total of 45.13% or 102 respondents were visual in very high categories, as many as 32.74% or 74 auditory respondents with very high Categories and as much as 22.12% or 50 kinesthetic respondents in moderate categories. So from this study it can be concluded that the students of the eighth grade who follow the learning of IPA are more likely to the visual learning style with the highest percentage of 45.15%. The teacher who will teach in the class can adapt the model and learning media that corresponds to the learning style that the student has. The results of this study are expected to provide a better understanding of the learning style of students of the eighth grade at SMPN 7 Muaro Jambi, especially in IPA subjects.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to: (1) Describe the improvement of student learning outcomes through the application of the TPS cooperative learning model in grade IX SMP Negeri 1 Babalan. (2) Improve student learning outcomes through the application of the TPS cooperative learning model with a minimum of classical completion. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) or action research which consists of 2 cycles, where each cycle consists of 1 meeting. The subjects in this study were grade IX-5 students of SMPN 1 Babalan consisting of 32 students. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the following things are: (1) There is an increase in student mathematics learning outcomes. The percentage of completeness classically increased from the initial test of 21.87% then during cycle I which was 62.5% to 87.5% in cycle II, so based on the results of the analysis it was obtained that this study had reached the specified success indicators. (2) After the implementation of the Think Pair Share type cooperative learning model, students' mathematics learning outcomes have been classically completed, namely 87.5%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine first aid in accidents. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, documentation methods. The results of first aid research are to save lives or prevent death, prevent more serious disability (prevent disease from getting worse), and support recovery by reducing pain, fear, and preventing infection. First aid training for victims is called Medical First Responder (MFR) which is basic training for the first rescuer to arrive at the scene. Helpers Must have the ability to deal with emergencies, and After the most basic training to provide assistance. Before the victim becomes a victim Take him to the hospital, apart from first aid practitioners in the realm, first aid education can only be obtained by students by taking part in extracurricular activities such as Scouts and PMR.

Abstract

This research aims to find out material for scouts in service. This research uses descriptive qualitative research, documentation methods. Research results: Scouting material is an educational process outside of school and family which is carried out in activities that are interesting, fun, healthy, organized, focused and practical. Scouting material activities are carried out in the open with the Basic Principles of scouting material and Methods of scouting material, which aims to build character (Character Building), morals and good manners, character of service as the substance and practice of education in the school environment, integrated in a number of subjects relevant issues and the social and cultural climate of the school. Organizing the character of service in the school curriculum can be done through several alternatives, including: In elementary schools, the character of service is integrated into relevant subjects
