Abstract

The global demand for seafood products increased in a dynamic environment. Still, fails to achieve competitive positioning due to labeling, unattractive and unprofitable targeted segments, and less preferred quality and features. Thus, this study tried to create competitive positioning through features, functions, and benefits of seafood product attributes. The results arranged through consumer characteristics, consumer preference with conjoint analysis, market identification and competition with regression analysis, Multidimensional Scaling, and Correspondence Analysis from 206 respondents. The results prove that (i) canned fish, dried fish, and salted fish competed on freshness, durability, and food safety (labels); (ii) shredded fish, surimi, and pedak competed on density, taste, physiological function, and easy-to-use feature; (iii) crackers competed on taste, social function, and psychological function; (iv) shrimp paste competed on shape, color, surface condition, texture, additive content, and chemicals. The implications of the results: (i) transported and packed to processing plants and food storage facilities; (ii) an increase in food diversity, food fortification, and supplementation; (iii) cultural congruence between the product and the market with certain packaging designs, launch timing, and advertising; (iv) several methods of process, such as quick freezing and cook-chilling, pasteurized before packed or retort pouch and natural food additives.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis kendala pengambilan keputusan modal pada UMKM Fruite Store Agung di Kosambi, Karawang. Toko Buah Agung menghadapi sejumlah kendala, termasuk risiko barang rusak, fluktuasi pendapatan harian, dan ketergantungan pada utang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode studi kasus, yang melibatkan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Toko Buah Agung menerapkan strategi yang efektif untuk mengatasi kendala, seperti penyesuaian pembelian stok, manajemen modal harian yang cermat, dan pencatatan keuangan yang terperinci. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi pelaku UMKM lainnya, dengan menekankan pentingnya fleksibilitas, kemampuan beradaptasi, dan penggunaan teknologi sederhana untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam manajemen bisnis.

Abstract

Meningkatnya tingkat kecelakaan kerja pada sektor pekerjaan konstruksi maka diperlukan Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan Kontruksi (SMKK) yang baik disetiap proyek pekerjaan konstruksi. Peneliti akan meninjau tentang SMKK untuk proyek pekerjaan Jembatan Sungai Pandan. Penelitian dilakukan secara langsung dilapangan. Data diolah menggunakan observasi kondisi lapangan terhadap pengaplikasian SMKK. Setelah itu data hasil pengamatan tersebut dibandingkan dengan data hasil perencanaan yang diperoleh dari pihak pelaksana proyek Jembatan Sungai Pandan. Data yang telah dibandingkan kemudian dievaluasi dengan merujuk pada "Peraturan Menteri PUPR Nomor 10 Tahun 2021". Berdasarkan hasil analisis dokumen dari PT. Bara Furot Nagata dan PT. Surya Murakabi Abadi terhadap Peraturan Menteri PUPR No. 21 Tahun 2021 menyatakan pihak penyedia jasa (kontraktor) minimal membuat 4 dokumen yang terdiri dari "Rencana Keselamatan Konstruksi (RKK), Rencana Mutu Pekerjaan Konstruksi (RMPK), Rencana Kerja Pengelolaan dan Pemantauan Lingkungan (RKPPL), dan Rencana Manajemen Lalu Lintas Pekerjaan (RMLLP)".

Abstract

This community service program is an initiative that supports the development of MSMEs in Banyubiru Village. The goal is to help MSMEs adapt and respond to changing conditions through gradual assistance. It is hoped that this can increase sales and expand their business development sustainably. MSMEs have a vital role in the Indonesian economy, including in Banyubiru Village, Dukun District, Magelang Regency. The community service method is carried out in three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation stage involves observation and identification of problems, while the implementation stage includes socialization, creation of social media, marketplace training, input of business locations to GoogleMaps, and promotion through AdSense. Evaluation is carried out to measure the effectiveness of the program. The results show high enthusiasm from MSMEs and an increase in the use of technology to increase sales and visibility of their products.

Abstract

Parents have a very important role in accompanying their children, especially in the digital world such as the internet. Children, especially in the digital world such as the internet. For this reason, parents need to understand how to use the internet properly and wisely. The purpose of this counseling is to provide education about the use of the internet for parents of the internet for parents of students at Mutiara Bunda Kindergarten so that they can be better assist their children. The implementation method is carried out with three stages. Starting from the preparation stage, implementation, to the evaluation stage. Based on observations, it was found that students at Mutiara Bunda Kindergarten were able to operate gadgets to operate gadgets to just play online games and even surf the internet. even though. The material presented covers various aspects, such as the role of parents in accompanying children in the internet world, the benefits and risks that children may face when exploring the internet, as well as tips on supervising children in using the internet.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and implement a science board-based monopoly game in Social Sciences (IPS) subjects for 5th grade elementary school students. This monopoly game is designed as an innovative learning media that can increase learning interest, active involvement in students, increase learning motivation, active participation, and student understanding of IPS material. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method and with the 4D development model, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate which involves the stages of needs analysis, product design, expert validation, product trials, and evaluation. The results of the study showed that: 1) Based on the results of the average feasibility of the expert material validator assessment, media experts and teacher responses showed that the media for developing a monopoly game based on the IPS science board that had been developed with an average percentage value of 94.625% so that it was included in the category of feasible to use. 2) Based on the average results of the practicality of a media, students gave a very positive response to the media for developing monopoly games based on the social studies subject science board that was developed, showing the overall percentage results obtained from the distribution of student response questionnaires for class V SDN 101751 Klambir V, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency with an average value of 90% with a very practical category. 3) Based on the results of the average effectiveness of the Pretest and Post-test through a Likert scale, it shows that the media for developing monopoly games based on the social studies subject science board that has been developed is included in the Effective category, with an average percentage value of 90.68%. \ n So it can be concluded that the media for developing monopoly games based on the social studies subject science board for class V students at SDN 101751 Klambir Lima Village, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra is very effective so that it is suitable for use in the learning process.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas masalah distorsi komponen mesin rokok setelah proses hardening. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perubahan dimensi diameter dalam lubang, lebar gap, dan kerataan pada komponen. Temperatur austenit, media quench, dan  temperatur tempering diperiksa untuk menentukan pengaruhnya terhadap distorsi. Komponen terbuat dari kelompok baja mesin S45C setara AISI 1045. Penelitian ini menggunakan spesimen bernama CT58 dengan variasi temperature Austenite 820˚C 840˚C 860˚C, lalu variasi media quenching oli, oli+air, dan air dan variasi temperature Tempering 200˚C, 250˚C, dan 300˚C. Penelitian ini menggunakan Design of Experiment, dilanjutkan dengan analisis statistik dengan aplikasi minitab. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa distorsi pada spesimen CT58 paling besar dipengaruhi oleh suhu Austenite dan diikuti oleh media Quench dan suhu Tempering. Temperatur austenit 820°C, media quench oli, dan temperatur tempering 250°C merupakan parameter pengerasan terbaik untuk aspek Inner Diameter. Temperatur austenit 820°C, media quench oli, dan temperatur tempering 250°C merupakan parameter pengerasan terbaik untuk aspek Gap Width. Temperatur austenit 820°C, media quench oli, dan temperatur tempering 250°C merupakan parameter pengerasan terbaik untuk aspek Flatness.

Abstract

BACKGROUND: There is currently insufficient study focusing on comprehensive studies that thoroughly assess the prevalence of Streptococcus pneumoniae specifically among elderly patients with pneumonia in Asia. OBJECTIVE: To analyze the prevalence of Streptococcus pneumoniae as a causative factor of pneumonia among elderly populations in Asian countries. METHODS: This meta-analysis was designed to systematically collect data from PubMed, Scopus, and Embase within the timeframe of January to February 2024. The study focused on gathering prevalence data of Streptococcus pneumoniae among elderly patients diagnosed with pneumonia in Asian countries. Statistical analysis employed a single-arm meta-analysis methodology to consolidate and evaluate the cumulative prevalence of Streptococcus pneumoniae in this specific population group. RESULTS: The total sample included in our study comprised 15 articles. Through our analysis, we found that the cumulative prevalence of Streptococcus pneumoniae among elderly patients diagnosed with pneumonia in Asia was 9% (Event rate: 0.09; 95% CI: 0.06, 0.12; Egger's test: p = 0.7047; p Heterogeneity < 0.0001; p < 0.0001). CONCLUSION: Streptococcus pneumoniae remains a plausible causative agent of pneumonia in elderly Asian populations.

Abstract

PPTQ Aziziyyah is one of the Islamic boarding schools in Tangerang. Arabic and English are the languages used by PPTQ Aziziyyah students. This aims to improve the quality of students in the fields of knowledge and communication skills where the students and female students here not only excel in memorizing Allah's verses, but are also fluent in international Arabic and English. The research method used in this research is a case study with a qualitative approach through focus group discussions. The research uses a critical paradigm. The data collection technique uses a focus group discussion involving resource persons from the Tahfidzul Qur'an Aziziyyah Islamic Boarding School, namely teaching staff. The results of this research aim to find out how the Instagram social media management team at Tahfizdzul Qur'an Aziziyyah Islamic Boarding School manages the brand image on Tahfidz Instagram to become an advantage as a selling point, content characteristics as determinants in content formation, maximizing the features and potential of the Instagram application and engagement such as the number of likes, views and followers as indicators of success in building the brand image of the Pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur’an Aziziyyah.

Abstract

This research was conducted on April - May 2021, at Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory of Fishery and Marine Science Faculty of Riau University. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of Kirinyuh leaf (Euphatorium odoratum) solvent and the optimal dose on hatching rate of tambaqui larvae (Colossoma macropomum). The method used was a Completely Randomized Design Factorial with 4 treatments and 3 replications. The dose of kirinyuh leaf solvent used was P0 (0 mg/L) P1 (100 mg/L) P2 (120 mg/L) and P3 (140 mg/L). rGH with 3 levels; 0 mg/L (D0), 1.5 mg/L (D1,5) and 2.5 mg/L (D2,5). The immersion duration of kirinyuh leaf solvent is 20 minutes with 100 eggs for the density. The results showed that the use of different doses of kirinyuh leaf solvent gave very real effect to fertilization rate with highiest point (87,33%) following with hatching rate (88,00%), and survival rate (83,66%).
