Abstract

The Direct Learning Model is a teaching approach that is specifically designed to support students' learning processes related to descriptive knowledge and procedural knowledge that is well structured and can be taught with a gradual activity pattern. The aim of the Direct Learning model research is to improve students' skills and creativity in drawing. The method used in this research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The data collection techniques used were observation and interviews. The data collection instrument in this research was the student observation sheet. In this research, students were asked to create works in the form of imaginative images. In making imaginative images they are given the freedom to express their ideas and imagination. The subjects in this research were 3rd grade students at SD GMIM 7 Tomohon for the 2023/2024 academic year with a total of 40 students. The results of this research indicate that the direct learning model can be an effective model for improving students' skills and creativity in making imaginative drawings for grade 3 students at SD GMIM 7 Tomohon.

Abstract

Use of Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Methods for Grade 1 Students at SD GMIM II SARONGSONG. This research is to expand the teacher's ability to increase motivation and reading learning outcomes for beginning Grade 1 students. The main objective of this research method is first grade students with the subject of the teacher's research and the research object being beginning reading ability, but the method used is Contextual theory. Teaching and Learning (CTL). This theory describes that education, learning and guidance for children must be in students' real world situations. The method used is the observation method, where the observation method is the process of collecting information or data by directly observing and recording events or behavior that occur in a certain environment. From the results of observations, the learning carried out has experienced improvement and progress. The improvements that occur are as follows: 1. Varied learning methods. 2. Students are always actively involved. 3. Students are braver in reading. Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) highlights several main problems. One of them is the challenge of integrating real context into the learning process

Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes by implementing the inquiry learning model at SD GMIM VI Tomohon with the topic of Length Measurement being discussed. This type of research is qualitative research with data collection techniques through student observations in the classroom. The subjects of this research were 20 class II students. The results of this research show that the application of the inquiry learning model can improve students' mathematics learning outcomes. Improving student learning outcomes can be done by conveying learning objectives, providing problems related to concepts, providing practice questions, and providing guidance to students who have difficulty by discussing practice questions.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan literasi matematis siswa sangatlah berpengaruh pada hasil belajar siswa pada topik aritmetika sosial. Hal ini juga dikarenakan kurangnya desain pembelajaran yang berorintasi pada permasalahan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti lintasan belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran aritmatika sosial melalui Hypothetical Learning Trajectory yang didesain dengan menggunakan pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia konteks permainan monopoli. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri satu Tomohon pada kelas VII E sebagai kelas pilot experiment dan kelas VII F sebagai kelas teaching experiment. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian design research yang terdiri dari tiga tahap pelaksanaan yaitu merancang aktivitas pembelajaran, melaksanakan pembelajaran dan melakukan analisis retrosepektif . Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, dokumentasi dan video, data tertulis dan juga wawancara. Kemudian HLT yang didesain dibandingkan dengan kegiatan siswa yang sebenarnya terjadi di dalam kelas saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung, sehingga di tahap analisis retrospektif didapatkan lintasan belajar siswa akhir dari HLT ke Local Instruction Theory. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa lintasan belajar yang telah didesain dari kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas menggunakan konteks permainan monopoli dapat membantu siswa dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan aritmatika sosial pada level formal dengan menggunakan pengetahuan dan pengalaman mereka di level situsional, referensial dan general.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effect of technology utilization on increasing fourth-grade students' interest and motivation in learning social studies. The research method used was qualitative with a phenomenological approach, involving 22 students at elementary school 2 Tomohon. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and group discussions. The results showed that the use of technology, such as tablet devices and interactive educational applications, significantly increased students' interest and motivation. As many as 85% of students stated that technology made learning more interesting, while 78% felt more motivated to learn. In addition, student participation in discussions also increased, and they developed useful digital skills. However, challenges such as limited access and unstable internet connections need to be addressed. These findings suggest that integrating technology in social studies learning can create a more interactive and effective learning environment and provide recommendations for the development of better educational practices. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the use of technology in social studies learning makes a significant contribution to increasing students' interest and motivation to learn, where 85% of students stated that the use of technology makes social studies lessons more interesting, while 78% of students feel more motivated to learn when technology is used in learning activities.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve the learning outcomes of class III students at SDN Inpres 6/84 Walehunian Sagerat in learning mathematics for multiplication counting operations using the GASING method. The method used is a method that is easy, fun and enjoyable for students. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method which consists of four stages, namely the planning stage, action implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were class III students, totaling 20 students, including 9 men and 11 women. The results of this research show that in the first cycle 16 students completed (79%) while 4 students (21%) did not complete. In cycle II it reached 93%. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the use of the GASING Method in improving mathematics learning outcomes for multiplication arithmetic operations can improve the learning outcomes of class III students at SDN Inpres 6/84 Walehunian Sagerat.

Abstract

This research aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes for flat shapes in the combined area of flat shapes (squares, rectangles and triangles) by implementing the Class IV Project Based Learning (PjBL) Model at SDN INPRES 5/81 Tendeki. The research uses the classroom action research (PTK) method proposed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart and consists of two cycles where each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The research results showed that the percentage of learning outcomes obtained by students in cycle I was 66.78% and in cycle II it increased to 82.14%. Based on the results of this research, it was concluded that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model could improve Mathematics learning outcomes for the Flat Build material in class IV students at SDN INPRES 5/81 Tendeki. Researchers provide suggestions for teachers so that Mathematics learning outcomes are more optimal and can achieve KKM targets, it is recommended to place more emphasis on the use of learning models using the Project Based Learning Model (PjBL).
