Abstract

Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter di MTS Modern Al-Huda Wringinanom Gresik merupakan langkah strategis dalam membentuk generasi masa depan yang unggul secara moral dan intelektual. Program ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter yang kuat kepada peserta didik, sehingga mereka menjadi individu yang berintegritas, bertanggung jawab, dan berkontribusi positif dalam masyarakat. Melalui metode pelaksanaan yang holistik, program ini melibatkan berbagai kegiatan pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif, serta memanfaatkan dukungan dari berbagai pihak terkait, termasuk pengelola, pendidik, orang tua, dan masyarakat sekitar. Hasil yang diharapkan dari kegiatan ini mencakup peningkatan pemahaman dan penerapan nilai-nilai karakter, perubahan sikap dan perilaku yang positif, serta pembentukan komunitas pembelajaran karakter yang solid. Selain itu, program ini juga diharapkan memberikan dampak jangka panjang dalam pembentukan kepribadian peserta didik, sehingga mereka mampu membawa perubahan positif dalam masyarakat di masa depan. Dengan demikian, Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter di MTS Modern Al-Huda Wringinanom Gresik bukan hanya sekedar program pendidikan, tetapi juga merupakan investasi dalam pembangunan moral dan etika generasi mendatang.

Abstract

This research aims to integrate the Internet of Things (IoT) in teacher performance evaluation in elementary schools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in assessment. The method used in this study is a mixed approach, which involves collecting data through questionnaires, interviews, and observations. The results of the study show that YIMI Gresik Elementary School is ready to adopt IoT with various devices that support real-time data collection. IoT-based evaluation systems are able to increase objectivity and transparency in teacher performance assessments, as well as accelerate feedback provided to teachers. The study also found that the application of IoT can reduce the subjectivity that often arises in manual evaluations and improve the quality of teaching through more efficient systems. The implications of this study show that the integration of IoT in the evaluation system can optimize education management, especially in improving the quality of teacher performance evaluation. However, the challenges faced, such as inadequate infrastructure and the need for more intensive training, must be addressed immediately in order for the implementation of IoT to run effectively across primary schools. Follow-up research is expected to examine the long-term impact of the use of IoT-based evaluation systems on teaching quality and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Little is known about the application of Virtual Reality (VR) in school administration, particularly in Indonesia. This study examines the readiness and challenges of implementing VR technology at Yayasan Pendidikan YIMI Gresik, covering KB-TK, SD, and SMP levels. Using surveys, interviews, and field observations, the research assessed infrastructure, training needs, and potential benefits. The survey results show moderate readiness scores across units (KB-TK = 3.1, SD = 3.4, SMP = 3.2 on a 5-point scale), with training needs identified as a critical gap. The findings reveal that while VR has strong potential to enhance administrative efficiency and user satisfaction, its adoption is hindered by limited infrastructure and lack of intensive user training. This study provides one of the first empirical insights into VR readiness for school administration in Indonesia and offers a foundation for future planning and policy in educational management technology.
