Abstract

This research highlights the implementation challenges of visual therapy at Mitra Ananda Autism School, which currently relies on conventional methods using books and blocks, often leading to boredom among autistic children. Therefore, the aim of the study is to design a 3D Interactive Multimedia solution based on Android to address this issue while maintaining teacher supervision. The research methodology involves utilizing 3D multimedia technology to create an application that presents visual therapy materials in a more engaging and interactive manner. Evaluation by teachers and media experts indicates that the designed multimedia is deemed highly suitable, with assessment scores reaching 87% from teachers and 87.77% from media experts. The research has successfully developed an effective solution that addresses the monotony experienced by autistic children during visual therapy by incorporating interactive 3D multimedia technology as a highly feasible and diverse supporting medium. This solution is expected to enhance the effectiveness of visual therapy and support the development of children with autism.

Abstract

Beragamnya aplikasi yang beredar di masyarakat, membuat para pengembang aplikasi mobile berlomba-lomba untuk menciptakan aplikasi yang menarik, terutama dalam hal desain antarmuka pengguna dan pengalaman pengguna. Sayangnya, sejak awal peluncurannya, aplikasi android Sisfo ITP Mahasiswa belum pernah menjalani pengujian analisis kegunaan usability. Analisis terhadap aplikasi ini penting untuk mengetahui sejauh mana keberhasilan implementasinya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai tingkat pengalaman pengguna pada aplikasi android Sisfo ITP Mahasiswa menggunakan metode System Usability Scale dan Usability Testing. Pengujian menggunakan tools untuk usability testing dan survei kuesioner online. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan skor SUS sebesar 59, sehingga dikategorikan sebagai F yang artinya Ok. Dalam hal kegunaan usability, aplikasi ini juga mendapatkan skor sebesar 59, yang menempatkannya dalam kategori standar. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan untuk meningkatkan kegunaan dan pengalaman pengguna keseluruhan dari aplikasi ini. Hasil pengujian ini menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengalaman pengguna aplikasi, mengindikasikan bahwa perubahan-perubahan yang diimplementasikan pada desain aplikasi memperbaiki tingkat usability secara substansial.

Abstract

Technology-based agriculture is a modern approach that utilises the Internet of Things (IoT) to efficiently support the production process. In Kampung Durian Tarung, Pasar Ambacang, Kuranji, Padang, West Sumatra, a group of horticultural farmers face challenges in determining the type of plants that are suitable for the soil quality of their land. This research develops an IoT-based system for land analysis that can recommend optimal crop types according to soil conditions. IoT technology is implemented to collect soil data, such as pH, moisture, and soil temperature, through wireless sensors. The data is analysed using a fuzzy method, which enables decision-making based on a number of soil quality parameters to provide more precise and real-time recommendations. The trial results show that the system is able to accurately measure soil conditions and provide appropriate crop recommendations based on the soil quality data obtained.  The use of fuzzy methods proved effective in filtering data from sensors and adjusting crop recommendations based on threshold values on pH, humidity, and soil temperature. This research contributes to the field of smart agriculture by presenting an IoT-based solution specific to the needs of local horticulture farmers. Combining wireless sensor technology and fuzzy methods enables analyses that are more adaptive and relevant to the soil conditions on the farm. The success of this research provides direction for the development of similar systems that can be applied in other regions, and underlines the role of IoT technology in supporting agricultural sustainability through optimal utilisation of data.

Abstract

This research aims to design and implement an automation system for controlling electrical devices and door locking based on an ESP32 microcontroller with support for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology. The system was realized in prototype form using the iTag device as a communication medium between the user and the ESP32. The main aim of this system is to increase energy efficiency and room security through automatic control of electrical devices and a door locking mechanism when the room is not in use. Registered iTag devices will be connected to the ESP32 through the BLE pairing process, enabling detection of the user's presence within a 3 meter radius. When a user is detected, the system automatically activates the electrical device and unlocks the door; instead, the device will be disabled and the door locked when the user leaves the area. System testing was carried out to evaluate the BLE signal range and system response to various environmental conditions. Test results show that the system is able to detect iTag devices up to a maximum distance of 12 meters without physical obstacles and 9 meters with wall obstacles.

Abstract

In response to this critical issue, this study aims to implement and evaluate a prototype of a smart parking system based on a Wireless Sensor Network (WSN), integrating Long Range (LoRa) communication and Light Detection and Ranging (LIDAR) technology. A quantitative experimental approach was employed in developing the system, where the prototype was designed using the TF Luna LIDAR sensor for precise vehicle detection, the LoRa RA-02 module as a long-range wireless communication medium between nodes, an Arduino Nano or ESP32 microcontroller as the data processing unit, and infrared (IR) sensors to detect gate barrier conditions. Comprehensive testing was conducted in a simulated parking area to measure vehicle detection accuracy, sensor response time, and wireless communication efficiency. The results demonstrate highly promising performance: the LoRa RA-02 module successfully transmitted data stably up to approximately 200 meters in a basement environment, proving its superiority in coverage and power efficiency compared to conventional wireless technologies. The TF Luna LIDAR sensor achieved high detection accuracy with an average measurement error of only about 1–2 cm, making it more reliable than ultrasonic sensors, although precise placement was required due to its 1.5-meter range limitation.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi saat ini telah berkembang pesat dan mempengaruhi hampir semua aspek kehidupan dengan demikian sangat membuka peluang untuk perusahaan yang ingin melakukan pengembangan di berbagai sektor bisnis seperti pelayanan dan jasa. Po Putra Pelangi merupakan salah satu perusahaan penyedia layanan yang bergerak di bidang jasa transportasi darat antar kota provinsi. Namun proses pemesanan tiket yang masih manual seringkali mengakibatkan berbagai kendala, seperti penumpang sering kehabisan tiket pada saat tiba di loket karena kurang nya informasi mengenai jadwal keberangkatan dan pada pelaksanaan admin juga juga sering mengalami kendala dalam hal pembukuan dan pencatatan nya, sering kali terjadinya human error pada saat proses pencatatan yang tidak rapi dan tidak terdokumentasi dengan bai dalam proses rekap data calon penumpang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi pemesanan tiket bus pada Po Putra Pelangi. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penelitian meliputi analisis kebutuhan sistem, perancangan basis data, dan pengembangan aplikasi berbasis web. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan cara meninjau secara langsung ke lapangan, studi pustaka dan kepustakaan. Dalam penelitian ini, pengujian black box diterapkan pada sistem informasi pemesanan tiket bus untuk memastikan bahwa semua fungsi utama sistem bekerja sesuai dengan spefikasi yang telah ditentukan. Penelitian ini berhasil merancang sebuah sistem informasi pemesanan tiket pada bus berbasis website.
