Abstract

Catfish is a cultivated fishery commodity that has quite large business opportunities to be developed to fulfill community nutrition. Feeding in catfish farming is very important and is one of the things that really needs to be considered. Feeding must be planned so that catfish can grow optimally. Unscheduled feeding results in increased cannibalism among catfish. The use of an automation system must be implemented in order to make it easier and more efficient in feeding catfish. The research method used in writing this scientific work is by using literature study. The purpose of this writing is to find out and implement an automation system for feeding catfish to make it easier and more efficient in feeding catfish. The results obtained from this automatic tool can make it easier for humans to operate, so that it no longer needs to be powered manually. Just automatically use the feeder. In conclusion, the implementation of an automatic system using IoT and Arduino Uno has been proven to be able to streamline catfish feeding times.

Abstract

Metode pengelasan SMAW digunakan secara luas dalam industri untuk menggabungkan material logam dengan kekuatan yang tinggi. Namun, pengelasan SMAW dapat menghasilkan cacat seperti porositas, retak, dan pengotoran yang dapat mempengaruhi kekuatan dan keandalan sambungan las. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi pengaruh ketebalan root face dan polaritas terhadap defect pada tembusan hasil pengelasan SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) dengan kuat arus ideal. Adapun Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode eksperimen dengan acuan uji AWS D1.1. Teknik pengumpulan datanya dengan melakukan pengujian pelat menggunakan cairan dye penetrant test dengan waktu yang dibutuhkan selama 40 menit setiap spesimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketebalan root face yang optimal dapat mengurangi terbentuknya defect pada tembusan pengelasan SMAW. Ketebalan root face yang terlalu tipis dapat menyebabkan pengotoran dan porositas, sedangkan ketebalan yang terlalu tebal dapat menyebabkan retak atau reject pada sambungan las. Selain itu, polaritas juga mempengaruhi terbentuknya defect. Penggunaan polaritas yang tepat dapat mengurangi terjadinya porositas dan retak pada sambungan las. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa dimana polaritas DCEN  menghasilkan tembusan yang ideal pada root face 2 mm, sedangkan Polaritas DCEP  menghasilkan tembusan yang ideal pada root face 3 mm, maka dari itu kami rekomendasikan polaritas DCEN sangat cocok untuk  pengerjaan root face 2 mm pada proses pengelasan SMAW.

Abstract

The 21st-century work environment presents new challenges for education. Therefore, preparing students to face the 21st-century work environment requires innovative and relevant educational approaches. This study aims to analyze the preparation of SMKN 7 Serang City students in facing the 21st-century work environment through a project-based learning (PjBL) approach. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach, data in the form of questionnaires are analyzed to identify teamwork, project management, communication skills, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving. The results showed that PjBL has made a positive contribution to improving students' 21st-century skills. Students involved in PjBL have a deeper understanding of the application of theoretical concepts in the context of the work environment. The conclusion is that PjBL is an effective learning method in preparing students of SMKN 7 Serang City for the 21st-century work environment. The results of this study confirm the importance of innovative approaches in vocational education to ensure students have skills and knowledge relevant to future developments.

Abstract

Getaran adalah osilasi gelombang pada suatu benda, dan jika gaya yang diterapkan pada sistem struktur terlalu besar, dapat menyebabkan masalah atau bahkan kerusakan. Pemeriksaan getaran dapat dilakukan pada mesin atau bagian yang bergerak atau berputar untuk menentukan keadaan mekanis roda gigi atau mesin. Fakta bahwa pengukuran dilakukan tanpa membongkar atau menyebabkan kerusakan pada sistem peralatan adalah salah satu manfaat dari pengukuran getaran tersebut. Objek penelitian ini ialah pada mesin gerinda duduk dimana mesin ini termasuk dalam class I menurut standar ISO 2372. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah menggunakan metode jenis eksperimen, dimana pengukuran dengan 3 variasi ujicoba. Tujuan dan manfaat  dalam penelitian ini dialandasi atas untuk mengetahui kelayakan dari standar getaran mesin gerinda duduk di lab PVTM Untirta berdasarkan ISO 2372. Hasil dari penelitian diperoleh lebih mengrucut pada level merah tua untuk mesin tersebut termasuk dalam jenis class I yang artinya mesin gerinda duduk dilab PVTM Untirta kurang layak diopersaikan. Sehingga kesimpulannya, direkomdasikan untuk mengganti meja kerja mesin gerinda duduk dengan desain atau rancangan yang khusus memiliki peredam getaran dikarenakan mesin gerinda duduk tersebut masih layak.

Abstract

The Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) as an educational innovation in the Merdeka Curriculum program offers a holistic approach to strengthening students' understanding of Pancasila values. On the other hand, vocationalization demands the development of practical skills and soft skills relevant to the world of work. The purpose of this study is to analyze the extent to which the implementation of P5 contributes to the development of students' vocational soft skills. The research method involved observations and interviews with students and educators at relevant vocational schools. The results showed a positive relationship between the P5 dimensions and vocational soft skill development, with significant improvements in skills such as teamwork, communication, and problem-solving. In conclusion, the integration of P5 in vocational programs can be an effective strategy to create students who are not only technically competent but also possess the soft skills necessary to succeed in the modern workforce.
