Abstract

Saat ini, kebutuhan informasi mengenai kesehatan reproduksi remaja, pendidikan dan layanan masih belum terpenuhi. Remaja seringkali merasa risih atau tabu membicarakan seksualitas dan kesehatan reproduksinya. Namun karena penasaran, mereka mencoba mendapatkan informasi tersebut. Remaja seringkali merasa orang tuanya menolak membicarakan topik seksual sehingga mereka mencari sumber informasi alternatif seperti teman atau media. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh media sosial terhadap tingkat pengetahuan reproduksi remaja SMA 1 Sekongkang. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Seluruh siswa kelas X SMA 1 Sekongkang mengikuti penelitian ini. untuk menentukan besarnya sampel yang diambil dari populasi, peneliti menggunakan teknik random sampling. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari angket pre dan posttest. Namun analisis data yang digunakan untuk menguji hipotesis adalah Chi-square. Uji statistik antara media sosial dengan tingkat pengetahuan seksual memberikan p-value sebesar 0,000 < (α) 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa secara statistik terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara penggunaan media sosial dengan pengetahuan seksual remaja SMA 1 Sekongkang.

Abstract

Diarrhea is a condition where the frequency of defecation is more than 4 times in babies and more than 3 times in children. The incidence of diarrhea is closely related to the clean and healthy living behavior carried out by family members and the increase in cases is strongly influenced by an unclean environment. This research is to analyze the effect of breastfeeding, nutritional status, and hand washing behavior on the incidence of diarrhea in the Naioni Health Center Work Area, Kupang City. Method: This research uses an analytical survey method with a cross sectional design. The population in this study was 1,120 toddlers in the Naioni Community Health Center Working Area. The sampling technique in this research is cluster random sampling with a sample size of 92 people. Statistical analysis of the data used in this research was the chi square test. Analysis found that variables related to the incidence of diarrhea in toddlers were breastfeeding (pvalue=0.005:RP=3.778), nutritional status (pvalue=0.347:RP=0.589), hand washing behavior (pvalue=0.009:RP=3.429. The incidence of diarrhea which has the greatest impact on toddlers is because of the attention of the community in their life activities to be able to use appropriate water for eating, drinking and other basic human needs and how how to manage food properly and correctly.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period where a person experiences a transition period in his life as preparation for adulthood. During this period, adolescents experience a change from child behavior to adult behavior. Judging from the changes, teenagers are experiencing physiological and psychological transitions. Adolescence is a time when many problems can arise, including nutritional needs. Nutritional problems among teenagers that are still common in Indonesia include anemia, stunting (a condition where children stop growing as they get older), wastismang (thin), and obesity (fat). The aim of the research carried out was to determine the effect of knowledge of nutritional action materials on adolescents. The type of research used is descriptive research with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study was 30 Almuhajirin High School students. The variables studied were knowledge about nutrition and physical activity. Data processing was analyzed descriptively. The influence of knowledge and physical activity on nutritional status using the Chi Square method. The results of the research conducted showed that the pre-test was 47% and the post-test was 56.9%, indicating that there was an influence of advice to expand knowledge as an effort to improve adolescent nutrition. It can be concluded that the higher the level of knowledge about nutrition and physical activity of students, the better their nutritional status will be.
