Abstract

physical performance, and sports. This article examines the research on high intensity interval training. This article aims to determine the effectiveness of high-intensity interval training on fitness and endurance. Data sources were taken from Scholar, Scimago Jr., Wiley Online Library, Springer. Search data ranges from 2015 to 2023. The method of implementing activities uses the literature review method. In this article, it is recommended that high intensity interval training should be done regularly with the right intensity and sufficient duration to achieve optimal results. The results of the review concluded that high intensity interval training can be done outside or inside the house which is suitable for athletes and non-athletes because it can increase muscle strength, reduce high blood pressure, improve cardiorespiratory fitness, burn fat, and help cure diabetes. In conclusion, high intensity interval training has an influence on changes in improving performance, health, and endurance. This strength training can further be developed or tested with various variables, subject characteristics, and a larger population. HIIT exercise can greatly increase physical performance. Optimal physical ability is intended to increase the body's metabolic system, cardiovascular fitness, and endurance, as well as influence health levels. HIIT is a quick and effective exercise that can be done both indoors and outdoors.Key words: high intensity interval training, physical fitness, endurance

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between college students' nutritional status and learning outcomes, especially physical education in Universitas Negeri Semarang. The type of research used is correlational. The population of this study amounted to 220 college students. This study uses primary data obtained from the measurement of the nutritional status of college students and secondary data from learning outcomes of physical education students in Universitas Negeri Semarang. The data collection tool is in the form of measuring nutritional status based on body mass index. The data were analyzed by correlational statistics through a computerized process using the SPSS program. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between nutritional status and learning outcomes for college students.

Abstract

Studi purpose. Stress and anxiety are every day for athletes, but they need severe treatment. Pre-match anxiety is often present and quite disruptive to an athlete's performance. Anxiety is inherent in sports and may be experienced at all levels. This study examines the effects of stress and anxiety before the match. Materials and methods. This study used the article review method by collecting qualitative and quantitative data through reputable journal articles. This article reviewed the literature on athlete stress and anxiety leading to a match. Research with this article review method used relevant and accurate data to be used as material for readers. Results. The results of the review concluded that athletes who experienced high levels of stress have the effect of a 70% higher risk of injury, and increased anxiety could harm athlete performance during matches. The causes of anxiety in athletes before competing included competitive anxiety, cognitive anxiety, and somatic anxiety. Conclusions. In conclusion, athletes will experience symptoms of anxiety and stress in the match due to various things, such as the presence of thousands of spectators who can threaten the athlete's self-esteem and the negative judgment of the community towards losing athletes.

Abstract

Latihan beban atau berlatih menggunakan beban merupakan langkah terbaik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kekuatan. Latihan ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan beban berupa alat maupun berat badan atlet. Oleh karena itu, latihan power weight training tidak boleh hanya menekankan pada beban, akan tetapi harus pula pada kecepatan mengangkat, mendorong dan menarik beban. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui program weight training pada cabang olahraga bulutangkis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode Systematic Literature Review. Studi kepustakaan digunakan karena peneliti membutuhkan data dari berbagai sumber literatur berupa buku, jurnal penelitian terdahulu sebagai sumber data penelitian guna mendapatkan landasan teori masalah “Program Latihan Beban Olahraga Bulutangkis” yang akan diteliti. Berdasarkan dari telaah beberapa artikel yang di ambil. Hasil bahwa banyak sekali jenis weight training yang dapat membantu meningkatkan kualitas pemain bulutangkis, dari membantu kelincahan, kecepatan, dan kekuatan otot tubuh, dengan kemampuan daya tahan tubuh dari masing-masing peserta. Latihan weight training harus dilakukan secara terstruktur, terencana, dan continue sehingga akan didapat kebugaran jasmani yang maksimal sehingga dapat meningkatkan kemampuan maksimal bermain bulutangkis dalam mencapai prestasi yang lebih baik.
