Abstract

This study aims to explain the position of local wisdom content in Arabic teaching materials. As a language learned in the learning process (L2), few teaching materials thoroughly carry Arabic content. If we look at the reality of multicultural Indonesian society, aspects of local wisdom of the social system of Indonesian society are included in the material studied. This is an effort to integrate culture into language learning, positively impacting language learners. A point of view must be developed and used as a discourse to understand social phenomena that occur in Indonesian society, especially in the environment of pesantren and diniyah schools. Local wisdom can be viewed as a social and communicative system that produces a kind of self-organization (autopoiesis) within a culture. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method where the data obtained are processed and concluded from primary, secondary, and supporting sources. The research emphasizes that local content contributes to a deeper understanding of Arabic and culture, making the learning experience more engaging and relevant for learners. In conclusion, this research underscores the importance of integrating local wisdom and cultural content into Arabic teaching materials to enrich the language learning experience and foster a deeper connection between students and the Arabic language and culture. By recognizing the significance of local content, educators can enhance the effectiveness of their teaching methods and better prepare students for authentic and meaningful communication in Arabic-speaking communities.

Abstract

Tulisan ini hendak menjelaskan dan menguraikan bagaimana konsep dan model pengembangan kurikulum mata pelajaran Bahasa Arab dan bagaimana implementasi dilapangan serta problematika yang dihadapi oleh pengajar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP MBS Muhammadiyah 06 Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian field research. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah indeph interview sedangkan sebagai pendukung digunakan observasi dan analisis dokumen. Data yang telah terkumpul kemudian di analisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model pengembangan kurikulum di sekolah ini menggunakan model grass rott. Dimana pada sekolah ini guru sebagai penggagas ide dalam pengembangan kurikulum. Kurikulum yang ada dikembang oleh guru bahasa Arab itu sendiri dengan menyesuaikan dengan keadaan lapangan. Dalam implementasinya terdapat banyak problem yang dihadapi pengajar dalam proses pembelajarannya diantaranya banyak siswa yang masuk ke sekolah ini tidak mempelajari bahasa arab di sekolah dasar sebelumnya sehingga perlu mepelajarinya dari titik awal. Kemudian sekolah mengembangkan konsep lingkungan bahasa bagi kelas pesantren namun masih dalam proses perkembangan karena kelas tersebut baru angkatan pertama.

Abstract

This study aims to test whether there is an influence of self-awareness on the achievement of learning Arabic language students of Muhammadiyah boarding school Purwokerto. Sampling using simple random sampling technique. The sample taken was with 30 students. This study used one independent variable, namely self-awareness (X) and one dependent variable, namely learning achievement (Y). The data used in this study were primary data in the form of questionnaires with 30 respondents and secondary data in the form of the last Arabic test scores. This research method uses ex post facto. The data analysis technique used in this study was simple regression analysis. The results of this study are known significance value (Sign.) of 0.03 which means smaller than 0.05. In addition, the coefficient of determination is obtained with a value of 0.280 or 28.0% so that it can be concluded that variable x (self awareness) has an effect of 28.0% on variable Y (Learning Achievement) Keywords : Influence, Self Awareness, Learning Achievement, Arabic

Abstract

The study aims to test whether there is a relationship between inquiry-based learning and Arabic learning in students of special Arabic language development programmes at the UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Language Centre Unit. The research uses a quantitative approach using simple random sampling techniques. The sample taken was 50 students. This study uses one independent variable, namely inquiry-based learning (X) and one dependent variable; namely Arabic language learning. (Y). The data analysis technique used in this study is simple regression analysis. The result of this study is a known significance value (Sign.) of 0.170 which means less than 0.05 Furthermore, the determination coefficient is obtained with a value of 0.039 or 3.9%, so it can be concluded that the variable x (inquiry-based learning) has a weak relationship to the effect value of 3.9% on the Y variable. Sempel collection using simple random sampling. The sample taken was as many as 20 respondents of grade 10 students. This study uses 1 independent variable, namely the application of curriculum (x) and 1 dependent variable, namely learning outcomes (y). The data used in this study are primary data in the form of questionnaires and secondary data in the form of books, journals related to this study. This study used quantitative. The data analysis technique used in this study is simple linear regression analysis. The result of this study is significant by 0.04 meaning <0.05. In addition to the coefficient of determination, a value of 25.9% is obtained so that it can be concluded that variable X has an effect of 0.259 or 25.9 on variable Y.
