Abstract

This research aims to find out the paradigm shifting of Qur’anic interpretation on woman verses from Gadamerian perspective. This writing finds out three paradigms: classical, modern and neomodernism paradigm. Each paradigm has its own world view that necessary to its context. From Gadamerian perspective, the emergence of those three paradigms in Qur’anic interpretation about woman verses is necessity. As a text, Qur’an is not a dead object, but it will be understood by people from different point of views. In interpreting a text, an instrument is used to help finding out the right interpretation. Interpretation is not a hall of mirrors in which interpreters only see themselves in different poses and shapes depending on the shape and angle of the mirror which confronts them. Rather, interpretation is a process of listening to others through their words and deeds.

Abstract

This research is to describe: (1) the background of emergence of Nurcholish Madjid' s thinking about Neo-Sufism. (2) the substance of Neo-Sufism according to Nurcholish Madjid and it's implication to the life of Islamic community. (3) to describe it's existence between classical Sufism and modern Sufism. This research is library research. The data in this research are qualitative data from the books and documents that relate to the topic. The collected data are analyzed by content analysis technique. This research find that two factor cause the emergence of Nurcholish Madjid's thinking about Neo-Sufism: (1) historical and scientific factor that sunni Sufism, philosophical Sufism and modern Sufism are contradicting and blaming each others on their concept. (2) actual factors that is, the emergence of spiritual crisis in the western country and their consciousness to repair it by studying Sufism teaching. Neo-Sufism is the continues of the classical Sufism and modern Sufism thinking, but it try to combine between them. If the classical Sufism stress on spiritual experience, spiritualism, uzlah, wirid, zikir and kasyaf, and take away the profane affairs, and modern Sufism see that uzlah, kasyaf and spiritual experience on classical Sufism as bid'ah and khurafat, Neo Sufism try to combine them by saying that spiritual experience, uzlah, and kasyaf are importance but not to far away from profane life. According to Neo Sufism, to be sufi is not throw away profane life but we still can be sufi although to be active in profane life. Nurcholish Madjid' s thinking o n Neo-Sufism is the consistence of Ibnu Taimiyah-Ib nu Qayyim Al-Juaziyah-Fazlurrahman an d Hamka thinking.

Abstract

Chlorella sp. merupakan salah satu tumbuhan tingkat rendah yang mempunyai potensi untuk dimanfaatkan, sebagaimana Firman Allah Swt. dalam al-Quran surat asy Syu’ara ayat 7. Chlorella sp. termasuk dalam spesies mikroalga dari kelompok Chlorophyta yang mengandung senyawa yang berpotensi sebagai antioksidan seperti flavonoid, tanin, senyawa fenolik, terpenoid, klorofil dan karotenoid. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui potensi aktivitas antioksidan dan golongan senyawa aktif dari Chlorella sp. yang ditumbuhkan dalam Medium Ekstrak Tauge (MET).Chlorella sp. dikultivasi dalam MET 4 % dan pemanenan dilakukan pada hari ke-10. Ekstraksi Chlorella sp. dilakukan dengan metode maserasi menggunakan dua variasi pelarut yaitu metanol dan etil asetat. Aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak kasar Chlorella sp. dilakukan dengan uji DPPH secara spektrofotometri sinar tampak. Identifikasi golongan senyawa aktif dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji reagen secara kualitatif yang meliputi alkaloid, flavonoid, steroid, triterpenoid, tanin, dan asam askorbat.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kerapatan sel tertinggi (4,6 x 105 sel/mL) saat kultivasi Chlorella sp. dalam MET terjadi pada hari ke-10. Rendemen dari ekstrak metanol dan ekstrak etil asetat Chlorellasp. berturut-turut adalah 7,001 % dan 3,673 %. Ekstrak metanol Chlorella sp. mempunyai aktivitas antioksidan yang kuat dengan nilai EC50 sebesar 18,610 ppm, begitu juga dengan ekstrak etil asetat yang mempuyai nilai EC50 sebesar 27,320 ppm. Hasil identifikasi golongan senyawa aktif yang terkandung dalam ekstrak kasar Chlorella sp. menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak metanol mengandung steroid, tanin dan asam askorbat, sedangkan ekstrak etil asetat mengandung tanin dan asam askorbat.

Abstract

Education according to Islam is an effort so that people recognize and acknowledge God's place in this life. As educators, the main thing as parents is to prepare their children to be pious and pious children because the education they get will be their survival in the future as Prophet Ibrahim educated his children because he knew how important science was. And as Lukman al-Hakim educates his children with advice and gentle words (wisdom). Meanwhile, the focus of the research discussed in this study are: (1) What educational values ??are contained in the story of Prophet Ibrahim and Lukman al-Hakim? (2) What is the strategy for instilling these values? (3) What are the implications for the development of education in Indonesia? To achieve this goal, the researcher uses a research method with a philosophical approach. This type of research is library research, namely research whose main object is books or other library sources. That is, data is sought and found through a literature review of books or other sources relevant to the discussion. The results of this study are: (1) The concept of Children's Education in the Story of the Prophet Ibrahim, namely: a. Rational (When Seeking God), b. Tawhid/Belief (Seeing a bird that is turned on), c. Istiqomah (When it is about to be burned), d. Dare to Speak the Truth (Against King Namrud), e. Abstract

Abstract The orientation of this article is to investigate and examine more deeply the meaning of the balance score card, aspects of the balance score card and its implementation in the perspective of quality assurance of Islamic education. In this paper, the author tries to analyze more deeply and systematically in implementing new management strategies that can encourage quality improvement in institutions by using a balanced score card approach based on Islamic principles. The type of research in this article uses a library research approach in which data collection techniques are obtained from various primary references and secondary data which are then reduced and keyed. Research results: (1). Application of Balance Score Card in Islamic Education Quality that is balanced both financially (profit) and non-financially (non-profit), (2). Standardization of Performance Measures from the Perspective of the Balance Score Card (in terms of finance, customers, internal business processes and learning and growth). With a comprehensive performance measurement that does not only measure financial but combines financial and non-financial measures, educational institutions can carry out better organizational performance. Keywords: Balance Score Card; Quality Assurance; Islamic Education. Abstrak Orientasi artikel ini untuk menyelisik dan menelaah lebih dalam makna balance score card, aspek balance score card dan implementasinya dalam perspektif penjaminan mutu Pendidikan Islam. Dalam tulisan ini penulis mencoba menganalisis lebih dalam serta sistematis dalam menerapkan strategi manajemen baru yang dapat mendorong peningkatan mutu di lembaga dengan menggunakan pendekatan balance score card disandari dengan prinsip-prinsip Islam. Jenis penelitian dalam artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan Library research yang mana teknik pengumpumlan data diperoleh dari pelbagai referensi  primer dan sekunder yang kemudian data direduksi dan disimpulkan. Hasil penelitian: (1). Penerapan Balance Score Card dalam Mutu Pendidikan Islam yang secara seimbang baik secara financial (profit) dan non-financial (non-profit), (2). Standarisasi Ukuran Keberhasilan Kinerja Perspektif Balance Score Card (dalam aspek keuangan, pelanggan, proses bisnis internal dan pembelajaran dan pertumbuhan). Dengan pengukuran kinerja yang komprehensif tidak hanya mengukur keuangan tetapi menggabungkan ukuran keuangan dan non-keuangan, lembaga pendidikan dapat menjalankan kinerja organisasi yang lebih baik. Kata Kunci: Balance Score Card; Penjaminan Mutu; Pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country prone to conflict, because it has a pluralistic, multi-ethnic, multi-religious and multi-cultural society. Therefore, it must be certain efforts to prevent the conflict between them in the community. This research aims to describe the conflict resolution through values of local wisdom. It employs qualitative approach with observation, interview,  and documentation as methods to collect data.  The finding shows that local wisdom values have big contribution to make community with complex religions and ethnic lived in harmony.  Local wisdom values also have big role to resolve all conflict problems in the community and make them more humble, tolerant and wise to face the problem in their lives. Indonesia merupakan negara yang rawan terjadi konflik. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah karena Indonesia negara yang memiliki masyarakat majemuk, multi etnis, multi agama dan multi budaya. Karena itu, harus ada upaya-upaya tertentu agar konflik antar etnis, agama dan budaya tersebut tidak terjadi dalam masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan managemen konflik berbasis nilainilai budaya lokal. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah pengamatan, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa nilai-nilai budaya lokal memiliki kontribusi yang besar untuk menciptakan masyarakat yang memiliki kompleksitas agama dan suku hidup dalam suasana yang harmonis. Nilai-nilai budaya lokal juga memiliki peran penting dalam memecahkan masalah konflik dalam masyarakat, serta menjadikan mereka lebih ramah, toleran dan bijaksana dalam menghadapi problem-problem kehidupan.

Abstract

Kepemimpinan transformasional dan manajemen TU merupakan sebuah elemen yang saling berhubungan jika dipandukan untuk peningkatan dan kinerja tenaga kependidikan. Sesuai dengan beberapa penemuan penelitian gaya transformasional sangat dibutuhkan untuk kualitas kerja pegawai sehingga pada manajemen TU akan mendukung peningkatan kerja dengan manajemen yang diterapkan di MAN 2 Kota Malang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional dan manajemen TU terhadap kinerja tenaga kependidikan di MAN 2 Kota Malang.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis peenelitian deskriptif dan verifikatif. Dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 30 responden yang merupakan tenaga kependidikan di MAN 2 Kota Malang. Berdasarkan pengujian secara koefisisen Determinasi (R2) ditemukan hasil 24,9% pada X1 ke Y dan pada X2 ke Y hasilnya 0,03%. Dan untuk Uji t dari H1 0,006 <0,05 dan nilai t hitung 2,990 > t tabel 2,052 yang artinya berpenagruh, dari H2 sebesar 0,808 > 0,05 dan nilai t hitung -0.241 <  t tabel 2,052 tidak berpengaruh dan untuk Uji F H3 nilai 4,516 > F tabel 3,34 dikatakan secara simultan berpengaruh.

Abstract

Academic supervision is one of a school principal's main duties and responsibilities. This study aims to describe the academic supervision practices of principals in public junior high schools based on teachers' perceptions. This study was conducted in Probolinggo City East Java Province, by distributing a questionnaire to 109 teachers in three selected SMPNs. The questionnaire had been validated using the expert judgment technique. The data collected from the questionnaire were analyzed quantitatively. The findings show that the public junior high school principals supervised the teachers regarding their teaching-related responsibilities. The prominent supervision practice exercised by the principals was motivating teachers to take advantage of information technology in teaching. The weakest one performed by the principals was related to helping teachers in developing the syllabus required by the current national curriculum. Thus, some school principals’ academic supervision practices still need improvement..Keywords: academic supervision, principalship

Abstract

One of learning models that has recently been widely applied is Project-based Learning (PJBL). PJBL is a learning model that provides space for educational actors who are directly involved in the classroom, namely teachers and students, to be jointly involved in a project to solve a problem. PJBL is widely applied to learning hard sciences such as Physics. So far, discussion of learning models that use PJBL in Arabic subjects is still relatively limited. This research aims to fill in the gaps in research and knowledge related to how to apply PJBL in learning Arabic in secondary education, especially in writing skills with the topics "School" (المدرسة) and "Hobbies" (هواية). This research was conducted at an Islamic Junior High School (SMP) located in the city of Malang, East Java in the 2021/2022 academic year using quantitative and qualitative research methods. The data in this study were obtained using written tests, interviews, and observations. The results showed that only about 12.6% of students scored above 70 for writing skills based on assessments on essay writing. Students also experience some difficulties in learning Arabic, both academically and psychologically. After implementing PJBL, students were known to have a positive response to PJBL and there was an increase in students' writing skills. However, this improvement can also be an aspect of improvement in future research because in this study, researchers looked at the results of students' writing that was worked on in groups, not on the results of individual work as during the initial assessment before PJBL was implemented.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the "Talking Stick" type learning model on improving Mufrodat (Arabic Vocabulary) learning in junior high school students. In this study, researchers used research based on Quasi-Experimental studies by dividing students into two classes, namely the experimental class and the control class. This research is based on several complex problems, namely Arabic learning is still considered as one of the difficult and boring subjects. The results showed that by using the "Talking stick" type of learning model, mufrodat learning in students increased compared to applying the conventional learning model to generally. With this research, it is expected to be a motivation for educators at every level of education to continue and continue to innovate in every application of learning by Models that vary and adapt to the technology of the era that exists today.
