Abstract

Smoking behavior is a behavior that can endanger health, but its users are increasing. Smoking behavior is often found in adolescence, but it is not uncommon for someone who has entered early adulthood, which is caused by several internal or external factors. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological study approach, to see how conscious experiences are and how to interpret these experiences using in-depth interview methods. There were three respondents in this study, with different backgrounds. The results of this study identified that the causes of female students smoking were due to external and internal factors, where external factors were due to their friendship environment, family environment, and advertising factors, while internal factors were due to their own desires, being curious about the taste of cigarettes, feeling pressured by the situation, and lacking Get attention from both parents. Apart from that, for the positive effects, it was found that by smoking, female students get the effect of being calm, relaxed, more focused, which makes the user feel cool. Meanwhile, the negative effects were found to be that smoking can cause an addictive effect and have lasting dangerous impacts on oneself and the people around them, as well as getting a negative label from the surrounding environment, especially for women who smoke.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran persepsi mahasiswa tentang peluang kerja. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Psikolog UNM yang bersedia menjadi subjek penelitian.Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling dengan jumlah 16 subjek. Teknik pengumpulan data yakni menggunakan angket melalui googleform.Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 40% subjek berpersepsi cukup setuju tentang jumlah pengangguran dari perguruan tinggi semakin banyak, 75% subjek berpersepsi setuju bahwa banyak lulusan dari perguruan tinggi yang mendapatkan hambatan atau kendala memperoleh pekerjaan setelah lulus, 40% subjek cukup setuju untuk tetap berharap memperoleh peluang kerja setelah lulus,45% subjek setuju bahwa subjek merasa bahwa peluang kerja semakin sempit, 60% subjek cukup setuju tentang keyakinan pada kemampuan yang ia miliki untuk memperoleh kerja, 45% subjek cukup setuju tentang sikap membuka usaha dibandingkan berharap menjadi karyawan.

Abstract

Character education in school-age children, including elementary school students especially grade 1, is the initial foundation for their future growth and development. School-age children are defined as those aged between 6 and 12 years old. In this age range, school is an important part of children's development as they begin to take responsibility for their actions in interacting with their peers and adults. Character education at this school age can help shape children's behavior, ethics, and attitudes that will affect their future. This study aims to apply the four magic words psychoeducation and observe its impact on the social ethics of grade 1 students. Through a descriptive qualitative approach, this study describes the process and outcomes of the psychoeducation activities conducted in two grade 1 classes at SD Pertiwi Makassar. The implementation method of this program involved observation, interaction, and student responses during the activities. The preparation stage involved creating materials on the four magic words: “please”, “thank you”, “sorry”, and “excuse me”, as well as the use of videos to sing the four magic words song. The implementation stage included distribution of materials, literacy or reading of materials, reflection through discussion, and a sing-along activity. The results showed that this psychoeducational approach was successful in improving the understanding and use of the four magic words in daily social interactions. Students not only understood the concepts, but also showed consistent application during and after the activity. The conclusion of this study is that the application of four magic words psychoeducation is effective in improving the social ethics of grade 1 students. The descriptive qualitative approach allowed the researcher to get an in-depth picture of the study.
