Abstract

Pelaksanaan STBM dalam jangka panjang diyakini mampu menurunkan angka kesakitan dan kematian yang diakibatkan oleh sanitasi yang kurang baik dan dapat memengaruhi status kesehatan, masyarakat yang sehat, mandiri dan berkeadilan. Hal ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat yang setinggi-tingginya. Tujuan dalam penelitian untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan STBM (Sanitasi Total Berbasis Masyarakat) di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Palakka Kecamatan Barru Kabupaten Barru. Rancangan penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasional dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional Study  pada bulan Juni-Juli 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel pengetahuan (ρ=0,001), sikap (ρ=0,036), partisipasi masyarakat (ρ=0,036), sarana dan prasarana(ρ=0,001), dan peran petugas (ρ=0,006) memiliki hubungan dengan pelaksanaan STBM di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Palakka Kecamatan Barru Kabupaten Barru. Pengetahuan memiliki hubungan yang paling kuat dengan pelaksanaan STBM. Perubahan sikap ke arah yang positif perlu didasari oleh pengetahuan yang baik, adanya peran petugas, partisipasi masyarakat dan sarana dan prasarana yang lebih memadai agar pelaksanaan program menjadi maksimal.

Abstract

This study is research and development. This study aims to obtain a practical HOTS-oriented module based on the implementation of the module and the response of teachers and students as practitioners. The research instruments used were module implementation observation sheets, teacher response questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. Practical data collection is carried out by providing implementation observation sheets to observers and response questionnaires are given to teachers and students. The results showed that the implementation of the module had an average score of 4.59 with the category carried out very well, the results of the teacher response questionnaire analysis had an average value of 4.58 with the practical category, and the results of the student response questionnaire analysis had an average value of 4.54 with the practical category. The conclusion of this study is that the HOTS-oriented module on biology material in the even semester of class X high school / MA developed has met the implementation criteria with the category of very well implemented and the response of teachers and students shows that the developed module is practically used in learning.

Abstract

The advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has driven significant transformation in global education, requiring teachers not only to serve as instructors but also as innovators in educational media. However, vocational high school (SMK) teachers in Indonesia still face challenges in effectively integrating AI into the learning process. This community service program aimed to enhance the creativity of SMK teachers in developing AI-based educational media through integrated training and intensive mentoring. The activity was conducted collaboratively at SMK Negeri 2 Barru, consisting of a needs assessment, a one-day offline training, and a two-week hybrid mentoring phase. The training covered the use of AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Canva AI, Gamma App, and MagicSchool AI, along with strategies for designing creative media and implementing differentiated, project-based learning. The results showed a significant increase in participants’ understanding, with average test scores rising from 52 to 84. A total of 18 out of 40 teachers successfully produced innovative educational media, including infographics, animated videos, AI-based quizzes, and vocational practice simulations. Evaluation results indicated that 95% of participants found the program relevant, and 90% were highly satisfied. Some teachers had already implemented the AI-based media in their classrooms with positive student responses. This program demonstrated that systematic and contextual support can significantly enhance both pedagogical and technological competencies of vocational teachers. The findings highlight the strong potential of AI integration in vocational education when accompanied by sustainable mentoring. This program contributes to teacher capacity building and supports a more creative, adaptive, and future-ready digital education transformation.

Abstract

Scientific literacy is an essential 21st-century competency that must be possessed by pre-service elementary school teachers to support critical thinking, problem-solving, and evidence-based decision-making. This study aims to map the level of scientific literacy among pre-service elementary school teachers in the Basic Concepts of Biology course as a basis for strengthening their pedagogical competence. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach involving 60 students from the Elementary School Teacher Education Program at Universitas Megarezky using a total sampling technique. The instrument used was a scientific literacy test covering three domains: explaining scientific phenomena, evaluating and designing scientific investigations, and interpreting data and scientific evidence. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics in the form of mean scores and percentages. The results showed that students’ scientific literacy was at a moderate level, with an average score of 68.4. The highest score was found in the domain of interpreting data and scientific evidence (73.5), while the lowest was in evaluating and designing scientific investigations (58.6). These findings indicate the need to strengthen inquiry-based, contextual, and investigative learning to enhance the pedagogical competence of pre-service elementary school teachers
