Abstract

The city of Semarang has significant tourism potential. However, to optimize the promotion and management of Kampung Wisata Pelangi, Semarang, support from various parties is needed to maximize sustainable tourism potential. Located in the Old Town, this village has become an attractive destination thanks to government initiatives and local community participation. However, there are still challenges regarding infrastructure, waste management, and the quality of tourism services. Through qualitative methods and literature review, this study identifies promotional strategies using social media and the development of an integrated official website to increase visibility and the number of tourist visits. Additionally, effective management approaches are necessary to address infrastructure and waste management challenges, as well as to improve service quality. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide practical guidance for managers and stakeholders in optimizing the potential of Kampung Wisata Pelangi as a superior and sustainable tourist destination.

Abstract

Jantur Inar Waterfall is a potential natural tourism destination located in Nyuatan District, West Kutai Regency, East Kalimantan. Despite its strong natural appeal, the area continues to face various challenges in developing adequate and sustainable tourism facilities. This study aims to formulate a sustainability-based tourism facility development strategy that enhances the quality of the destination while preserving the local environment and cultural heritage. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through field observations, in-depth interviews with local communities, tourism managers, and regional government representatives. The findings indicate that the development of tourism facilities in Jantur Inar Waterfall must adhere to sustainable tourism principles, including active community participation, the use of environmentally friendly materials, and proper waste management and nature conservation. The proposed strategies include improving basic infrastructure (such as road access and sanitation facilities), constructing culturally rooted supporting facilities, and strengthening community capacity in participatory tourism governance. With an appropriate and sustainable strategy, Jantur Inar Waterfall holds the potential to become a leading natural tourism destination in West Kutai, offering not only economic benefits but also environmental and socio-cultural harmony for the local community.

Abstract

The tourism sector in Bantul Regency has so far only highlighted ecotourism-based tourist destinations in the form of beaches, pine forests, and sand dunes. Sedayu Karst Tubing is part of an ecotourism-based tourist destination, but the number of visitors is not as many as other ecotourism-based tourist destinations in Bantul Regency. Therefore, enhancing tourist satisfaction is essential to boost the number of visitors to Karst Tubing Sedayu. Thus, this research aims to find out how the facilities and image of tourist destinations influence increasing tourist satisfaction. Researchers used quantitative methods with a comparative causal research type, and this research produced the statement that facilities had an effect on increasing tourist satisfaction, as well as that the image of tourist destinations had an effect on increasing tourist satisfaction. Therefore, we can draw the conclusion that both the facilities and the tourist destination's image significantly influence the increase in tourist satisfaction. However, it would be beneficial if the management and the relevant government collaborated to enhance the quality of the Sedayu Karst Tubing tourist destination. This would foster a greater sense of satisfaction among tourists, thereby potentially increasing the number of visits to Sedayu Karst Tubing, Bantul Regency.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang di bahas dalam penelitian ini adalah Pelestarian Sego Godog Sebagai Makanan Legendaris Di Kabupaten Bantul Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi yang dilakukan dalam Pelestarian Sego Godog Sebagai makanan Legendaris di Kabupaten Bantul Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Metode penelitian yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Sedangkan tektik pengumpulan data yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan kuesioner. Setelah data yang di peroleh terkumpul kemudian di lakukan analisis data dengan menggunakan teknik SWOT. Dari hasil penelitian yang di peroleh menunjukkan bahwa Secara keseluruhan, Fasilitas utama dan fasilitas pendukung di Warung Sego Godog sudah lengkap. Namun jumlah fasilitas seperti kursi dan meja masih kurang untuk menampung banyaknya pengunjung yang datang setiap harinya. Sebaiknya pengelola memperhatikan hal tersebut untuk dapat menyediakan fasilitas meja dan kursi lebih banyak demi kenyamanan para pengunjung yang ingin menikmati Sego Godog.
