Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the students’ responses and to measure the effectiveness of the use of question and answer card media on student learning outcome in qiraah learning at Daru Al-Saa'dah Islamic boarding school. The research method used is experimental research with a two-group design, namely the experimental group in the form of question and answer card media treatment and the control group that is not treated in the form of question and answer card media, The instrument used to collect data in the form of qiraah test questions given to the group experimental and control groups. The results showed that the use of question and answer card media was effective in improving the ability of Daru Al-Saa'dah students in reading skills, this was evident from the results of the t-test by using SPSS programs where the t-count value showed a number greater than the t-table.

Abstract

This research began with initial data collection through observations of grade 2 students of SDN 14/I Sungai Baung in the 2024-2025 school year. Then improvements were made using the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method consisting of two cycles. This research involves four stages in each cycle: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The goal was to increase student activeness in Pancasila Education subjects by applying the Cooperative Learning approach. The results showed that the percentage of student activeness in learning Pancasila Education increased from cycle I to cycle II, from 52.27% with a poor category in cycle I to 72.72% with a good category in cycle II. The research was stopped in cycle II because the performance indicators had been achieved. In conclusion, the application of the Cooperative Learning model is proven to be able to increase student learning activeness in Pancasila Education subjects.   Keywords: cooperative learning model, pancasila education, student activeness

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of dynamic balance on 400- meter running performance. The experimental method with a Pre-Test and Post-Test design was applied to 20 students from the Sports Coaching Education Program at Tanjungpura University. Participants underwent three types of treatments: zig-zag hopping with one foot, walking straight with a bottle on the head, and heel walking. The results showed a significant improvement in running speed after the treatments. The average running time before treatment was 1 minute and 21 seconds, which decreased to 53 seconds after the treatment. Statistical tests confirmed a significant effect of dynamic balance exercises on running performance. This study concludes that dynamic balance training effectively enhances speed, agility, and neuromuscular coordination, which are crucial for athletic performance. Additionally, incorporating these exercises in routine training may help prevent injuries by improving postural stability and movement efficiency. Coaches and athletes should prioritize balance exercises as a fundamental component of sports training to optimize endurance, strength, and overall performance in competitive running.

Abstract

Belakangan ini, kita sering mendengar yang namanya stunting dan juga sering dibicarakan oleh ibu-ibu yang memiliki balita. Stunting merupakan masalah gizi yang harus dicegah sejak dini agar tidak menimbulkan dampak jangka panjang pada anak. Stunting hampir sama dengan ukuran tubuh yang pendek tetapi ditekankan lagi bahwa stunting itu pendek namun pendek belum tentu stunting. Hal yang dibutuhkan untuk mengatasi stunting diantaranya melalui intervensi gizi pada ibu hamil. Kelas Ibu hamil merupakan salah satu sarana dan upaya yang digunakan untuk menyebarkan informasi yang berkaitan dengan pencegahan sunting sejak kehamilan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini untuk menambah pengetahuan ibu hamil mengenai stunting dan untuk menurunkan angka stunting di wilayah Desa Kualu, Kabupaten Kampar. Metode pelaksanaan koordinasi dengan kepala posyandu untuk mensosialisasikan program kerja kepada bidan di posyandu. Tujuan dari tahapan ini untuk bekerja sama dan menyesuaikan antara program kerja dengan mitra. Setelah mendapatkan persetujuan dari pihak posyandu, dilakukan edukasi dengan tokoh masyarakat dan sasaran program di kelas ibu hamil serta menentukan lokasi untuk pelaksanaan edukasi pencegahan stunting pada ibu hamil. Dengan melaksanakan edukasi pencegahan stunting ini, dapat dilihat pengetahuan ibu-ibu hamil megenai stunting bertambah, dari antusias bertanya yang di lontarkan oleh ibu-ibu hamil.
