Abstract

This study aims to see how the implementation of the storytelling method using folklore in instilling character values in children at TK ABA Warungboto. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach to analyze the data obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation involving 15 children from Class B as research subjects. The research results indicate that storytelling methods significantly enhance children's enthusiasm and learning motivation, with noticeable improvements in their attitudes, honesty, responsibility, and independence. Furthermore, this study found that supporting tools such as puppets and storybooks can reinforce the impact of this method in instilling these values. However, this research has limitations as it only focuses on one school and the use of folklore as the sole medium. Practical implications include increasing storytelling methods in character education, emphasizing diversifying stories, and employing interactive media. This study also recommends routine evaluations to measure the effectiveness of this approach. In conclusion, storytelling methods hold great potential in character education at the kindergarten level, and the findings of this research can serve as inspiration for character education in other schools.

Abstract

Differences of opinion among the scholars, one of which is Muhammad Al-Ghazali in his control of Sunday hadiths and statements related to Sunday hadiths, should not be relied upon in matters of faith because they are not qat'iyyah al thubut, which raises many doubts, so their validity needs to be studied. This study discusses the blasphemy of ahad hadith from Al-Ghazali's perspective. This research is included in the category of qualitative research that utilizes literature study techniques. Document data comes from library documents, both primary and secondary. This study is expected to be able to provide answers regarding the blasphemy of Sunday hadith against Islamic teachings from the perspective of Muhammad Al-Ghazali. The results of this study show that Al-Ghazali expressed his rejection of the blasphemy of ahad hadith in matters of faith. First, the ahad hadith, even though the sanad is valid, is unable to convey faith and truth but is in the form of assumptions or conjectures. Second, when it comes to the principle of faith, of course everything must be based on strong evidence, not speculation

Abstract

Nutrition is an important factor in supporting the growth and development of early childhood. Good health will help optimize children's growth and development. This research aims to determine nutritional requirements and monitor children's growth and development at Darussalam Kindergarten, Yogyakarta. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The sources of information in this research are teachers, school principals and children. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques by reducing, presenting and drawing conclusions. The research results obtained show that Darussalam Kindergarten Yogyakarta has implemented various efforts to prevent stunting through a program to fulfill nutritional needs and monitor child growth and development. The program includes daily, monthly, and annual nutritional activities, as well as monitoring of Early Detection of Growth and Development (DDTK) carried out together with parents and the Health Center. In addition, health interventions such as deworming, vitamins, immunizations, and periodic weight and height measurements are also provided. The program has proven effective in preventing stunting. through programs that are implemented in a structured manner and involve various parties, especially parents and health workers, showing a holistic approach and potentially effective in preventing stunting. The active involvement of parents strengthens the continuity of monitoring child nutrition both at school and at home. The collaborative model implemented by Darussalam Kindergarten can be used as a reference for other early childhood education institutions in efforts to prevent stunting early and sustainably.

Abstract

Improving the quality of schools is basically a strategy to improve the quality of education by giving authority and responsibility to school leaders to make decisions. The principal as the leader of an educational institution and of course being the key holder of the school's success needs to have various methods and efforts made to achieve the stated goals. desired. The aim of this research is to determine the school principal's efforts to improve the quality of education at the ABA Warungboto Kindergarten. The approach used in the research is a descriptive qualitative type approach. The subjects in this research were the principal and two homeroom teachers who were the main sources for obtaining research data. Three methods were used to collect research materials, namely interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that there are various efforts made to improve the quality of education, including a) Division of tasks and responsibilities b) Improving the quality of teachers c) Increasing student achievement d) Improving infrastructure. Various efforts made by school principals can ensure quality that can help improve schools in the future.

Abstract

Abdullah Nasih Ulwan discussed a lot regarding the methods used in moral and religious education in early childhood which parents and educators apply. This research aims to determine Abdullah Nasih Ulwan's educational methods regarding religious and moral values ​​education for early childhood. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a literature study approach. The data obtained in this research used documentation, namely searching for data in the form of articles in the journals Sinta 2 to Sinta 6, totaling 15 articles related to Abdullah Nashih Ulwan's educational methods in religion and morals. The research instrument is the researcher's key instrument. Content analysis is used as an analytical technique in research. The findings of this research are that there are 5 methods used in implementing moral religious education for children by Abdullah Nashih Ulwani, including the method of example, habituation, advice, attention and supervision, and the method of punishment. This method can be applied well in children's moral education as a first step in preparing children to become useful people in future life.
