Abstract

The disparity of women leadership in higher education has been the concern of scholars for decades. However, the problem still exists until today. In the context of Islamic higher education in Indonesia, similar problem also continues to occur, yet the aspiration of young women lecturers has not been examined. This research aims to investigate the aspiration, hope, and challenges of young women lecturers at Islamic University in Banda Aceh, Indonesia on leadership positions. Employing in-depth interviews with 12 women lecturers in junior and mid leadership career this study found that: first,  women lecturers are less represented both in academic and managerial leaderships; second, all participants aspire more for academic leadership than the managerial one. However they would accept leadership position if they are given trust (amanah) or are appointed for that position; third,  the university uses a direct appointment model in the managerial positions, thus limiting highly motivated women or even men to apply for leadership career; and fourth, women academics have to deal with triple challenges in leadership careers: related to balancing between career and family as well as organizational culture and policies.

Abstract

Inclusion learning is a combination of learning process between normal child and special needs child, both physically and non-physically. Each educational institution has a special branding in the learning process, one of which is local culture-based inclusion. TK Laboratori Pedagogia UNY is one of the schools that carry out the learning of local culture-based inclusion in the region of Yogyakarta. The purpose of this research is expected to provide an overview of the process of implementing a local and locally-based kindergarten. This research is a qualitative study of case study approaches. Research field data retrieval using observation, interviews, documentation. The findings of the field resulted in that 1) the reason for learning local culture based inclusion due to the inclusion and cultural regulations, inclusion education needs for early childhood and special needs, and preservation of local cultures. 2) The value of local culture applied in the learning include, tepo sliro, unggah-ungguh, andhap asor, gugur gunung, welas asih, tertib, tekun, nerimo ing pandum. 3) management processes include planning, organizing, actuatting, and controlling.

Abstract

Education is the right for all citizens without exception for children with disabilities. This research aims to describe the process of implementation of children with special needs in educational institutions Raudhatul Athfal/kindergarten. Research methodology using qualitative methods of field studies with observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The results of thestudy gained that in the application of children with special needs (autistic and ADHD), learning in RA Ar-Rafif began from planning, implementation, and evaluation. Child-specific learning needs to implemented in regular classes. Learning for children with special needs is shadow and unaccompanied. Implementation of learning without any coercion, using children's center methods and learning safeguards for children with disabilities according to their interests. Evaluation and assessment of child-specific learning with anecdotal assessment, communication and parental information when the child is at home, daily activities and work. Evaluation is conducted one semester one to three times according to needs

Abstract

This research deeply examines the role od library management to success literacy program at early childhood education. It is backed by that implementation of library management on early childhood education face varities of contraints in managing and interent in reading of Indonesian society. Indonesian society has to be regularly read from early childhood period, therefore, early childhood education library is supposed to be managed thoughtfully to success literacy program. The qualitative research is library research. Data collection method is by collecting books from subject matter and support book. Data analysis technique is content analysis. Research result shows that there are some roles of library early childhood education management: (1) From human resource, (2) interested programs, (3)infrastucture, (4) comfortable services, and (5) rules. A early childhood education library which is managed thoughfully and intered can make early childhood to come to school library, it makes literacy program can implement successly. Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji secara mendalam tentang peran manajemen perpustakaan dalam suksesnya program literasi pada lembaga Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD). Hal ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya beberapa kendala dalam mengelola perpustakaan pada lembaga PAUD dan masih rendahnya minat membaca masyarakat Indonesia sehingga perlu dibiasakan membaca sejak dini, maka pengelolaan perpustakaan di lembaga PAUD seharusnya dikelola secara optimal agar program literasi terlaksana dengan sukses. Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat studi pustaka. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menumpulkan buku referensi pokok dan buku referensi pendukung. Teknik analisis data bersifat analisis isi. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa peran pengelolaan perpustakaan untuk mensukseskan program literasi pada jenjang PAUD yakni dari segi sumber daya manusianya, program-programnya, sarana dan prasarannya, pelayanannya, dan peraturan yang ada. Sebuah perpustakaan di lembaga PAUD yang dikelola dengan optimal dan menarik mampu menarik perhatian anak usia prasekolah untuk berkunjung ke perpustakaan

Abstract

Exploration of teaching/learning model alternatives is important to carry out optimum education practice to the students. This research aimed to evaluate learning achievement of 4th grade elementary students in natural science, to analyze the impact of teaching/learning method and material source on students’ achievement, and to determine the best strategy in the management of educational practice for natural science subject during Covid-19 pandemic. The research was carried out in SDN Ungaran I Yogyakarta. Survey experimental was used as the research design, occupying the 2 x 2 factorial design. The factors were including teaching/learning method that included the online and blended learning and source of teaching/learning materials that included the textbook and internet. Data collection was carried out through online survey using google form. Data analysis was carried out through t-test and factorial Anova. Partially, only teaching/learning method had significant impact on students’ learning achievement, shown by t-test result of -2.610 (p=0.010). Teaching/learning method and source of teaching/learning simultaneously affected students’ achievement of natural science lesson. F-test obtained the value of 80.335 (p=0.001). The combination of blended learning and internet sourced teaching/learning materials resulted in significantly higher score achievement. Therefore, it is recommended as the model of delivering natural science lesson for 4th grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Pandemic covid-19 has a significant impact on the world of education. Changes in the learning system affect the learning process. The problem arises felt by educators of east Kalimantan palm oil plantations related to online learning support facilities. Network limitations and communication tools become a separate¬¬ problem in educating the nation's children during the covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to identify strategies, methods, obstacles, and solutions for teachers in solving problems during the covid-19 pandemic. The research was conducted through qualitative methods, involving three elementary school teachers. Observation data retrieval techniques, interviews, and documentation. Test the data's validity by triangulation the sources .the research subjects of three educators in Teladan Prima Benua Baru and Teladan Prima 01 elementary schools. Data analysis using Miles &Huberman consists of three activities that coincide: data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing. The results showed obstacles, namely smartphone ownership, the unavailability of network coverage for the internet, TV, radio, limited teaching materials, student home distance, student discipline, parental limitations in accompanying children to learn, and time constraints. Teacher problem-solving strategies include implementing blended learning, creating learning groups, regular visits to students, partnering with parents, adapting teaching plans, optimizing electronic media, and utilizing creative media. Thus, aspects of problem-solving skills are essential for educators.

Abstract

Cita-cita besar dari seorang menteri pendidikan Nadiem Makarim adalah terciptanya kemerdekaan berpikir dan guru penggerak ada dalam lembaga-lembaga pendidikan di Indonesia. Hal ini dimungkinkan untuk mengadakan perubahan kearah kemajuan pendidikan di Indonesia. Perubahan kearah kemajuan Pendidikan Nasional bukan barang yang mudah. Gerak kemajuan Pendidikan Nasional membutuhkan peran dari seluruh komponen bangsa untuk ikut andil dalam perjalanan kapal besar Indonesia. Ditengah-tengah persoalan bangsa ini diharapkan mucullah guru-guru penggerak yang akan membawa perubahan ke arah kebaikan. Lalu, bagaimana guru memiliki landasan yang kuat agar cinta-cita ini berhasil? Untuk menjawab persoalan ini, penting tampaknya untuk mengambil hikmah perjalanan sejarah manusia dan pemikiran tokoh-tokoh perubahan yang kemudian dapat diterapkan dalam konteks kehidupan sekarang. Gagasan kemerdekaan berpikir singkron dengan pemikiran Nurcholish Madjid. Nurcholish Madjid terkenal dengan gagasan-gagasan perubahan, kemodernan, keterbukaan dan kebebasan berpikir. Dari penelusuran pemikiran Nurcholish Madjid yang mendukung terciptanya kemerdekaan berpikir, kemudian dapat dijadikan nilai prinsip bagi guru penggerak antara lain: 1) menjadikan hasil evaluasi sebagai pangkal perubahan, 2) memiliki prinsip kebebasan berpikir, dan 3) memiliki sikap terbuka dalam ide-ide kamajuan. Namun demikan, ada nilai prinsip yang tetap dijaga yakni kebenaran akidah selalu dipegang sebagai kebenaran sejati.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter saat ini dipandang sangat penting terutama bagi anak usia dini. Identifikasi nilai karakter dalam rangka mengetahui nilai karakter yang muncul dari kegiatan Field Trips yang dilakukan di Omah Salak merupakan tujuan utama dalam penelitian ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif, dimana pengumpulan datanya melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi, dan dianalisis menggunakan triangulasi. Penelitian dilakukan di tempat wisata edukasi Omah salak yang beralamatkan di Sleman, D.I. Yogyakarta. Hasil data yang terkumpul menunjukkan terdapat beragam nilai yang muncul dari kegiatan awal hingga akhir. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan muncul beberapa karakter pada diri anak, diantaranya yaitu kemandirian, kerjasama, rasa ingin tahu, disiplin, tangggungjawab, kreatif, kerja keras, menghargai prestasi, dan peduli lingkungan. Nilai-nilai karakter tersebut akan menjadi karakter dalam diri anak jika dikembangkan dan ditanamkan melalui tiga cara yaitu pembiasaan, pengertian dan teladan.

Abstract

Adanya problematika guru terkait dengan pelaporan evaluasi pembelajaran yakni masih ada guru yang merasa kesulitan mengelola dan merumuskan informasi bermakna dari hasil penilaian tersebut. Untuk itu dibutuhkan pengelolaan laporan perkembangan anak yang efektif dan efisien mengingat jumlah anak yang cukup banyak disetiap kelas, yaitu dengan menggunakan Aplikasi Rapor Digital untuk Raudhatul Athfal (ARDIRA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen laporan penilaian perkembangan anak berbasis Aplikasi Rapor Digital (ARDIRA) di Raudhatul Athfal. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan pelaporan evaluasi pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi rapor digital untuk Raudhatul Athfal (ARDIRA). Yang menjadi informan utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu operator sekolah dan guru kelas. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi ARDIRA dalam pelaporan evaluasi pembelajaran anak telah terlaksana dengan baik dan efektif sesuai dengan pedoman penggunaan aplikasi ARDIRA sehingga memudahkan, mengefektikan serta mengefisienkan pekerjaan guru dalam menyusun laporan evaluasi pembelajaran anak.

Abstract

Kecakapan hidup sebagai basik dasar dalam kehidupan hendaklah di ajarkan pada anak mulai sedini mungkin, agar kelak anak dapat tumbuh mandiri dan berdikari. Namun semenjak kemunculan COVID-19 di awal tahun 2020 hingga saat ini telah merubah tatanan kehidupan termasuk lingkup pendidikan. Hal ini menuntut guru untuk melakukan perubahan dalam proses pembelajaran, termasuk pembelajaran kecakapan hidup pada anak usia dini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkapkan bagaiana kreativitas guru PAUD Wadas Kelir dalam mengajarkan kecakapan hidup pada anak usia dini di masa pandemi covid-19. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti yakni penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dalam menganalisis data peneliti menggunakan tiga tahap, yakni reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh peneliti dapat diketahui bahwa kreativitas guru dalam mengajarkan kecakapan hidup pada anak usia dini di masa pandemi covid-19 yakni, cooking day, aku pahlawan ibuku, cinta lingkungan, bercocok tanam aku anak pintar dan mandiri, senangnya berbagi, games kreatif dan aku anak sholeh. Pembelajaran kecakapan hidup yang diajarkan oleh guru PAUD Wadas Kelir berdampak pada sikap kemandirian dan kepedulian anak, hal ini dapat dilihat dari sikap yang di tunjukan anak dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.
