Abstract

Islam encourages humans to produce and engage in all forms of economic activity, even Islamblesses this worldly act and gives it added value as worship to Allah and jihad in His way. All thepeople around the world who lived in that era knew that the Prophet Muhammad was an honestand just trader. Prophet Muhammad always showed responsibility and honesty to everyone. Hisreputationasatrue,honesttraderwaswellknownfromanearlyage.Therearetwoaspectsofthe trade route carried out by the Prophet Muhammad and become learning material for allpeople. The Hablumminallah aspect is a form of horizontal relationship between humans andAllah SWT as a form of surrender and solely because Allah SWT is related to worship, piety, trust,remembrance, gratitude in trading. The second aspect is the Hablumminannas aspect as a form ofhorizontal relationship between fellow humans related to establishing good relationships betweenemployees, customers and the community. The purpose of this paper is to find out the concept oftradingcarriedoutbytheProphetMuhammadSAWandtheimportanceofapplyingtheconceptof trading as practiced by the Prophet Muhammad SAW. This paper uses a literature study,besidesthatitalsousesaninterpretationmethodtoexamineversesrelatedtotrading.Afterthis has been done by referring to the Qur'an and as-Sunnah, the literature study and interpretationmethods carried out show that it is so important and so profitable to carry out a trading businesslikethatoftheProphetMuhammad.Apartfromgainingworldlybenefits,thenwewillalsoreceivebenefitsinthe hereafter.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas dan daya saing Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) anyaman lontar di Desa Bontokassi, Kecamatan Galesong, Kabupaten Takalar. UMKM ini memiliki potensi besar karena berbasis kearifan lokal dengan produk utama seperti Songkok Recca, tikar, tas, dan kerajinan rumah tangga lainnya yang bernilai budaya dan estetika tinggi serta ramah lingkungan. Namun, pengembangan usaha ini masih menghadapi berbagai hambatan, seperti keterbatasan akses modal, minimnya inovasi desain, rendahnya keterampilan manajerial, serta belum optimalnya pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam strategi pemasaran. Melalui pelaksanaan kegiatan ini, tim PKM melakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan dalam hal manajemen usaha, pengembangan desain produk, serta pemanfaatan media digital seperti Instagram, Shopee, dan marketplace lainnya. Pelaku UMKM juga dibekali keterampilan pembuatan kemasan produk yang menarik untuk meningkatkan daya tarik konsumen. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat menciptakan UMKM yang lebih inovatif, mampu memperluas pasar hingga tingkat nasional dan internasional, serta berkontribusi pada peningkatan pendapatan dan pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal secara berkelanjutan di Desa Bontokassi

Abstract

Improving financial literacy and character building based on Islamic values is an urgent need in facing global challenges, especially among the younger generation. This study implements human resource management and Islamic finance at Sangkhom Islam Wittaya School, Thailand, through a participatory education-based community service programme. The activity began with a needs analysis to map the level of understanding of students and teachers regarding HR and financial management. Next, a training module was developed that combined the concepts of HR management, Islamic financial literacy, and Islamic character values. Training and mentoring in simple financial management practices were provided to instil skills in planning, recording, and managing funds in accordance with Islamic principles. The results of the programme showed a significant increase in students understanding of Islamic financial management, human resource management, and a positive attitude towards the application of the values of honesty, responsibility, and discipline. The long-term impact of this programme is expected to create a generation that is financially literate, has good character, and is competitive, while also being able to maintain the integrity of Islamic values. This implementation can serve as a model of practical and relevant Islamic financial literacy for Islamic-based schools in the Southeast Asian region
