Abstract

Implementasi sistem jaminan produk halal telah menjadi perhatian utama bagi usaha mikro kecil dan menengah (UMKM), termasuk di dalamnya Roti Q-Ta, yang beroperasi dalam industri roti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana Roti Q-Ta menerapkan standar jaminan produk halal melalui pembelian bahan baku yang dipastikan halal dan proses produksi yang sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip kehalalan. Langkah awal yang krusial dalam implementasi adalah memastikan bahwa semua bahan baku yang digunakan seperti tepung, gula, mentega dan bahan tambahan lainnya telah bersertifikasi halal. Selanjutnya, dalam proses produksi, Roti Q-Ta menerapkan prosedur ketat untuk menghindari kontaminasi silang dengan bahan non-halal serta memastikan penggunaan peralatan yang disucikan sesuai dengan tata cara halal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus untuk mengeksplorasi implementasi sistem jaminan produk halal pada UMKM Roti Q-Ta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi sistem jaminan produk halal telah memberikan manfaat signifikan berupa peningkatan kepercayaan konsumen, ekspansi pasar dan peningkatan kualitas produk. Namun, tantangan seperti biaya implementasi yang tinggi dan kurangnya pengetahuan karyawan mengenai prinsip halal menjadi fokus dalam upaya mengoptimalkan proses ini. Kolaborasi dengan pihak terkait direkomendasikan sebagai strategi untuk mengatasi hambatan ini dan memperkuat posisi Roti Q-Ta dalam pasar yang semakin kompetitif.Kata Kunci: Jaminan Produk Halal, Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah

Abstract

Improving financial literacy and character building based on Islamic values is an urgent need in facing global challenges, especially among the younger generation. This study implements human resource management and Islamic finance at Sangkhom Islam Wittaya School, Thailand, through a participatory education-based community service programme. The activity began with a needs analysis to map the level of understanding of students and teachers regarding HR and financial management. Next, a training module was developed that combined the concepts of HR management, Islamic financial literacy, and Islamic character values. Training and mentoring in simple financial management practices were provided to instil skills in planning, recording, and managing funds in accordance with Islamic principles. The results of the programme showed a significant increase in students understanding of Islamic financial management, human resource management, and a positive attitude towards the application of the values of honesty, responsibility, and discipline. The long-term impact of this programme is expected to create a generation that is financially literate, has good character, and is competitive, while also being able to maintain the integrity of Islamic values. This implementation can serve as a model of practical and relevant Islamic financial literacy for Islamic-based schools in the Southeast Asian region

Abstract

This article discusses the results of a Community Service (PKM) activity entitled Smart Kids, Smart Future: Human Resource and Financial Management Education for the Young Generation of PERMAI Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. This activity focused on improving the knowledge and skills of the younger generation in the areas of human resource management, financial literacy, planning, the application of sharia financial principles, and creativity in designing business ideas. Interactive and practical learning methods were applied to ensure that participants not only understood the theory but were also able to implement it in a real-world context. The results of the evaluation through pre-tests and post-tests showed a significant improvement in all indicators measured. Participants' understanding of HR management increased sharply, especially in planning and task distribution. Basic financial literacy and Islamic finance principles also experienced substantial strengthening, enabling participants to integrate financial aspects with Islamic values. In addition, creativity in developing simple business ideas proved the participants' ability to combine knowledge with relevant innovation. Overall, this programme successfully achieved its stated objectives, namely equipping the younger generation with managerial and financial competencies that support economic independence and an understanding of Islamic values. This success provides an important foundation for the development of more comprehensive and sustainable follow-up programmes.
